Combo fried rice was really good. I'd definitely go back for that. Gyoza tasted regular, nothing special. Sioux Falls roll didn't taste very fresh and had a bit of a spice to it. Spice is fine but the overall roll wasn't anything to rave about IMO. Friendly service, fair prices. read more

We were visiting Sioux Falls for my husband's job. We were looking for a place to eat that was open at 8pm and not a bar. This was one of the few places that met that criteria. Wow, were we impressed! They are so friendly and so helpful. The lady working the counter greeted us with a smile! The service and the food were really good. We ordered 3 small bowls: the Grilled Chcken Bowl ($12.50) and the Hawaiian Chicken Bowl (came with pre selected items ($11.95), a create your own bowl ($12.50) and 3 bottles of water ($1.00 each). The small Bowls are huge! We had leftovers! We do recommend this place. It's a great small business! read more

Nice little poke place in the heart of downtown Sioux Falls. Easy access, clean dining room and pleasant servers made the overall experience enjoyable. The avocado salad was a beautiful presentation and nice and fresh, however the calamari was a tad overdone and rather large pieces. This location offers the option to add your own sauces individually which was a nice plus for poke. Proteins were cut a little large for standard poke which is the only reason I can't give this location another star. Stop in for lunch and enjoy the reasonable prices of this location. read more

While passing through Sioux Falls, we were looking for a healthy, simple lunch. Fancy bowl offered a buy-two-get-one-free-roll special for lunch, and was reviewed favorably. We concur! When my husband told me he wanted poke bowls in Sioux Falls, I was dubious. Until we walked into Fancy Bowl. I was surprised downtown Sioux Falls had such a wonderful place that serves fresh quality poke bowls and good rolls for great pricing. This was definitely a welcome surprise, as well as most of the downtown Sioux Falls area as a hip, clean, and fresh area. Would definitely recommend coming here if you are around for a poke bowl fix. read more

Quality Poke, sushi, and Other Japanese cuisine in Sioux Falls, SD? Actually, yes. This was our first time at Fancy Bowl and we ordered way too much, but everything was fantastic. I hadn't had Poke since our trip to Maui a while back, and while no one is going to beat the islands, this was incredibly well done and does the best job I've seen of approximating the tastes and freshness mid-continent. The staff was incredibly friendly, although there is no waiter service and our food was served on take out style containers despite eating in. If you like any form of Japanese cuisine this place will pleasantly surprise you. read more

My first-time eating from FANCY BOWL. And my last -- never to return. I ordered online the Hibachi Chicken bowl from FANCY BOWL, on Phillips, downtown Sioux Falls on March 14, 2024 for $12.01. I ordered a small vs the large at $15.95. I picked it up 10 min after placing the order online -- was the highlight of this review. Fresh hot food ready within minutes, amazing. Took the first bite of this "teriyaki" chicken. Eeeck. Took a bite combo of the rice, seaweed salad and of a cucumber and i could not get it out of my mouth fast enough. My tastebuds were met with the most unpleasant flavor....a smelly slimy disgusting sour fish taste. I did my best to move food around with my plastic fork and i made the dish worse in taste. I put the lid back on the heaping amt of untouched food....and placed the entire order into my garbage can. The initial bite of chicken was rubbery in texture. Small and failed miserably on flavor. If the cook was going for dryness, she scored a 10. read more

Excellent Poke bowl! Ingredients was all very fresh and portions were well worth the price. In town to visit son in college and wanted to get a fresh Pole bowl as a healthy dinner. I sure this place is very popular, but the lack of awesome reviews is surprising. read more

service is amazing and you get so much food for the price you pay!! i highly recommend the dumpling bowl, my new favorite

Where are first meal and Sioux Falls, my sister and I ended up here because of the stellar rating we saw on Google. We weren't necessarily looking for Asian food, but it turned out to be pretty good. This place had tons of different Asian oriented food options which made a little bit tough to the side, but I rather have too many options than not enough. I was looking forward to poke bowls, but they seemed to have way to many raw vegetables for my liking so I look at some of their pre made deals and found one that included eel and I was sold. The bowl I got was delicious and very filling. I was very content at the end of my meal and left full enough that I wasn't craving a dessert after which is always a great sign. The prices here were great for the amount of food you get and the quality wasn't lacking because of it. Great quick option for lunch and would definitely recommend! read more
