Towards the endi, it was incredibly frustrating that they would send out LONG standard responses asking you to review everything, yet on at least 3 occasions, did not even respond to my questions. Though we got what we wanted, I was incredibly disappointed at communications with this team. I tried going in person, over the phone and emails to get the message across. Luckily getting invitations is not a long process and we got beautiful invitations. In retrospect, I would have gone elsewhere because this is the only vendor that was frustrating to deal with. I'd recommend you do your research to shop around more than we did. Depending on what you want, you may not really save this much at this place. We budgeted $5 and spend close to $9....that said, we loved them.

I am not a huge DIY person so I didn't want to put my own invitations together. While searching around, I realized that adding a rhinestone to the invitation added a lot more cost. I am so glad I happened upon Stephita while searching online. I order invitation #917 because it was exactly what I wanted and so much cheaper than any of the stores that I was looking at in the US. Also, I did not have to pay tax since the store is based in Canada! Working with Stephita was also wonderful. Everyone was so nice and patient with me as I went through multiple proofs after changing my mind about one thing or another. The invitations came ahead of time and they even included extra envelopes and RSVP cards. I would recommend them 100%!

I traveled to the Dominican Republic for a family friend's wedding and used the travel agent recommended by the couple, Kawaljeet Singh. That was a huge mistake. From the start, the entire experience lacked any decent customer service and delayed notification about travel requirements. Despite confirming specific room details with Kawaljeet (and even having signed confirmation), we were given a completely different room when we arrived. The hotel staff needed him to correct the booking, but he was conveniently not available and once in communication days later completely unhelpful and refused to take responsibility even when shown proof of his mistake. Worse, he doubled down and insisted he was right, refused to reimburse us, and essentially left us stranded with no support. Once you're at your destination, they completely stop caring because they've already been paid.The service was unprofessional, unresponsive, and downright negligent. Do not fall for the illusions on their website this is not a reliable travel agency. If something goes wrong, you're on your own.I will never use this company again, and I strongly suggest planning your trip yourself or going through a more reputable, responsive travel service.

I am so glad that I did! It felt strange at first, leaving almost everything to others to plan - not even seeing my bouquet or the colours of the linens until 1/2 hour before the ceremony. The last week prior to the event, I even began to question whether I had made a huge mistake. When we got there and had a look at everything - it was absolutely perfect! I was amazed at how beautiful everything was. The ceremony was wonderful, the food was fantastic, and everyone involved on our day were so great, I can't even come up with words to describe it. Leading up to our big day, the staff always answered all my questions, whether by email or phone. They asked for pictures to get a sense of the colours we preferred and hit the nail on the head. We always felt accommodated and absolutely like ours was the only event they were planning. A special thank you to Katherine, who was absolutely amazing - knowing what to say to keep me calm, asking the right questions so she could correctly choose how to decorate for us, and having a great sense of humor. This venue is small - definitely not for a large wedding, but for the 18 guests we had, it was heaven. I absolutely recommend the Toronto Wedding Chapel if you have a small wedding that you want to be memorable but you're perhaps not the greatest at planning or just don't have the time. The only drawback was the photography. Unfortunately, about 20-30 pictures were pixelated and at least as many were blurry to some degree - however, they did send us almost 300 pictures (in less than a week!), so I refuse to give them less than 5 stars. STAY AWAY FROM JOYCE WEDDING SERVICES - unless you wish to have a horrible experience and a…read moretarnished wedding day. We were married on April 30 of this year and had booked Joyce Wedding Services for several of their packages, including their reception decoration package, their ceremony package, and their flower package. At first, we were quite satisfied with the process, and relatively amenable with the planning. Our first sign that something was amiss was when another vendor we were working with suggested that we shouldn't work with Joyce Wedding Services. But given that we had already put down a sizable deposit, we really didn't have a choice. At the end, we paid an additional 60% on top of our original invoice - for some changes we needed. As many have told us, it was overpriced - but given we were two thousand dollars invested already, we didn't really have a choice. Here were the issues we had on the wedding day: 1) None of the centre pieces were put together as agreed upon - they were supposed to setup our 26" vases with submersible LED lights hidden beneath crystals. However, they left the LED lights stating that the lights wouldn't last all night, and thus we needed to do it ourselves. We spent an hour and a half on our wedding redoing each of our centrepieces (emptying the water, relayering each piece). 2) They promised a 3D logo of our wedding (like the photos) - we received printed paper - THAT WAS CREASED! Our own names, on the $2000 backdrop we paid for, was creased right through. 3) During their clean up, they decided to charge us an additional $275 for "damages" to their rentals - meanwhile, the venue and our wedding party all noted that they were returned in ORIGINAL SHAPE. Yet, when they damaged our purchased wedding pieces, there was no compensation nor discussion about that. They had permanently altered each of our centrepieces without discussing with us first! 4) Unwilling to communicate - at the end of it - they just charged our credit card (meanwhile they would only accept cash for payment for their services so they don't pay tax). Worst of all, upon seeing our review online, they have since emailed us berating our "dollar shop center pieces" and stating that "only one side story won't affect much. You have mouth can talk, same here. And goes around to your end as well". On one hand, it worries me that this unprofessional business has our credit card on our file and is making threats, but on the other, I have been a regular user of Yelp for a long time - and hope this review helps others save the emotional and financial damage my wife and I had to endure. As an added perk, the company communicated directly with my guests and helped arrange special travel arrangements (i.e. shorter time-line, different departure city, etc.). They also communicated with the resort on your behalf so everything is ready upon your arrival.
