    We went as a group of 12. There was no problem booking the class online. We chose the Candle…read moreMaking & Fragrance Mist class. We sat in a large room and the staff brought out all the fragrances they had. There were perhaps 16 in total? They passed out some papers and pens so we could "test" the smell - place a drop of the oil on the paper and write down the scent. We were told you need to have 20 ml of scent. It could be one or it could be a combo, but no more than 20 ml. There was no lecture on how to choose or suggestions of "good combos". Just go ahead and choose. I was hoping for a little guidance and perhaps a little lesson on the scents and what they mean or do for you physically. Once our scents were chosen and poured in the candle cups were were given - 2 candles per person - the staff walked around and poured the soy candle wax into our cups. Then, you wait for them to harden. While the candles are hardening, we selected from the same oils, a scent we would like to have in our fragrance. The fragrance is an alcohol-based liquid that you can use on skin or perhaps spray in your car or bathroom. For this, all we had to do was select the spray and pour it in the little bottle of alcohol using the funnel provided. Labels were handed out at the end so we could label the scents we chose. Labels were given for the 2 candles and the spray. Overall, it was fun. However, I was hoping for a little education that didn't happen. Also, clearly some of the scents are the "popular ones" as they smell really good. They ran out of one and had no more so some of our group were not too happy with that.

    The Cold Process Soap Making class was super fun, informative, and educational. It felt like being…read morein a chemistry class all over again, with products that you actually get to take home and use. The space was small and cozy, with a parking lot right across the street and bus stop just steps away. There were 12 people in our class, and it started promptly. Our instructor was very knowledgeable and emphasized safety first (had to wear safety goggles, rubber gloves, and mask as the mixture of some of the ingredients produced toxic fume temporarily). The class was divided into 3 phases. The first phase, mixing the distilled water with lye (sodium hydroxide), was done outside for 1 minute to let the toxic fume evaporate. The other 2 phases were done inside - measuring and mixing the different ingredients together. In the last phase, we got to smell the different scents available for us to use that day (neroli, bergamot, lemongrass, peppermint, lavender, orange, frankincense, eucalyptus, etc.) so we could decide whch scent(s) to use for our soap. We could mix different scents together, or use just one. After all the ingredients were mixed and ready, the mixture was poured into a mould to let sit and solidify. The instructor provided information on what to do after taking it home, when to take it out of the mould and cut the bar soap (after 1-3 days), when it's ready to use (after ~4 weeks to complete the 'cure' / hardening process), and precautions needed in the first few days (to use gloves as it could still be toxic and corrosive in the first 48 hours). It was a great DIY experience - learned a lot about soap making!

    Attended a couple of parties here with friends and the food and entertainment have gone completely…read moredownhill. There seems to be a lot of drama between the management and the entertainment staff as we've witnessed a couple of meltdowns by the singer on more than one occasion. This results in a far less than enthusiastic performance and no singing past 11pm. She also acts aggressively towards patrons as we witnessed when she sang happy birthday to one of the other groups that were celebrating the night we were there. The staff yank the food off the tables quickly, so you need to make sure you eat as soon as they bring it out. There are other oddities that soiled our experience. Upon arrival we were harassed by a rabid coat-check guy who insisted that everyone check their coats. No need to be so aggressive...not a great way to welcome people to the venue. There is also an old guy that comes around taking pictures and tries to sell the prints. If you decide to buy from him, give him exact change. Our friends bought 2 photos from him for $30, but when they gave him two $20 bills he took off without giving them their change. All in all, too much hassle, sketchiness and drama. There are a ton of other similar banquet halls in the area, so we would not consider booking a party here.

This is not one of those huge typical banquets and your not just another number! You feel like a VIP guest invited by the owner; who at all times is in site, the stage and visits you at your table and makes sure all your needs are met! The decor is classy sophisticated and the music is really fun and up beat (mostly European, Russian, Romanian, Latin, jazz and even a mix of the Middle East) and it's always LIVE. I especially love their food! Since I'm a 'foodie' it's definitely a fusion of Europe and some.. And the way it's served is very unique! It's not the traditional 'per plate servings', you gotta see it to believe it! As soon as you arrive you notice the cozy modern fire places, warm decor lit up by cozy candle light, you hear the soft mellow music in the background (before the band goes on) and are amazed as you approach your table; it is set with your 'starter menu' (each event, table setting is customized by you and the management/owner) You will see multiple styles of salad, antipasto style cold cuts, seafood, caviar with fresh crepes and much more!!! Later as the mood picks up and the band starts playing the dance floor gets really full, and in between breaks, as you visit your table for a little break, or a drink you notice the starter apps leaving your table , but don't worry! Their being replaced with warm food, multiple times / and finally your main meals which could include shish-kabobs, Kiev cutlets grilled or baked salmon or other selections (depending on what was chosen during booking) the drinks keep flowing, the music keeps playing and if there's even a tiny ounce left in you, you will be served fresh hot tea and coffee, desserts and fresh fruit! Want to feel like a king or queen for the day? I definitely did! We've even had our children's party here for brunch, they have large screens by the stage, they catered to all our needs, with child friendly entertainment (clowns, dancers etc) kids menu, music and even kids movies playing on those huge screens I mentioned earlier! I just hosted a bachelorette for my…read morelifelong bestie this weekend so needless to say I felt a tremendous amount of pressure to host the perfect night for her. I booked NudeTO like 8 months in advance like the super type A human that I am and they were nothing but gracious, professional and quick with their responses as I changed details, dates, constant questions, etc. throughout the process. The day of the event, the crew of 3 (manager, instructor and model) showed up early as promised, quickly got to work setting up and were ready right on time. Of course, we weren't. While we waited for the rest of our guests to arrived the NudeTO crew patiently waited for about 30-40 minutes with ZERO complaints. Our model Carl literally hid in the bathroom the whole time so as not to ruin the surprise. When we finally started the instructor was SO amazing. We had a group of 25 girls drawing and she kept everyone on track. Our model Carl. Omg. He was something out of this world. I wish I could write all of the hilarious comments I was told about him after but they are not PG13. So good looking. Now, let me get to the best/worst part. In the middle of the class (which was set up in our basement) the upstairs toilet leaked into the basement causing complete chaos. We had to take like a 30 min break while things got cleaned up. Again, no complaints or stress from the NudeTO crew. Once we were able to restart, they got everyone focused again so quickly and the toilet was forgotten. I was SO impressed and incredibly grateful to them. In the days since, I have received numerous compliments on how much fun everyone had, how amazing Carl was, best bachelorette ever, etc. Do not hesitate to hire NudeTO. We hired her very early on (about 8 months before the wedding). We appreciated that she had the foresight to suggest that early on for us to connect 2 months before the wedding. This meeting ended up being a huge help in organizing all the final details left such as the timeline and schedule. As our wedding was the first Vietnamese wedding she coordinated, she did her best to ensure our cultural traditions were included, even arranging a separate chat with my mother. We were in frequent contact the month leading up to the wedding and she was always responsive. Olivia was so patient in helping us go through SO MANY versions of the timeline and schedule and gave all the right feedback and asked all the right questions for us to take back . She met with us in-person a few times as well, for site visits and to help with some pre-wedding day decorating. On the day of the wedding, Olivia was EVERYWHERE, doing her best behind the scenes so that everything went smoothly. I'm sure there were issues I didn't even know about because Olivia was there to address it! We had a long day with two ceremonies, a photoshoot, and a dinner reception, all in different locations, and with a super packed schedule. Olivia supported us through and through and helped us not only survive, but also enjoy it! She bought her own emergency kit and it was definitely helpful the one time I saw it in action - my husband spilled on himself and Olivia came to the rescue with a stain remover! She did so much, gathering people together, getting us food and water, setting up our DIY decor (which was done amazingly to our vision), and so much more. At the end of the night, she helped us pack away the DIY decor. She ended up staying with us for a whopping 16+ hours, and drove us to our honeymoon suite when all was over. Overall, Olivia is very organized, detailed-oriented and coordinates with kindness and in consideration of your needs as a couple.
