Another mechanic days earlier at REI, after just explaining the issue, bet it was just loose and may not need replacing. With high hopes of loose, Bottom Bracket Guy put it on the stand, and witha pull this way and a tug that-a-way, he looked at me said..."yup, it loose". And with that, whiped out a magic tool and with a turn this-a-way, and a twist that-a-way, my bottom bracket was fixed and the day was saved!! Some places would've told me it was broke and needed a new one which wouldve broken my bottom bracket!! Anyhow, an estatic thank you and again wonderful, honest service.

Ashley also went the extra mile to assist with me with downloading and filling out the Nike app. on my phone to save an additional fifteen percent on the already discounted jacket. It's honestly shocking how little effort seems to go into customer service here. The prices are also way too high for what you get. A lot of the products look average at best, yet they're priced like top-tier gear. For a store that's supposed to specialize in sports equipment, the experience feels lazy and poorly managed. I encountered her again in another area of the store where my wife was looking at socks in the other side of the counter. She seemed frustrated when I told her I was not ready to check out. Then when it came time to check out my wife asked if she could use her LinkedIn for the medical discount as we have at every UA store, including this one. The manager proceeded to step over from another area to tell us no. We had to use ID Me or a badge ID. My wife tries to get hers to pull up and it wouldn't pull up in the store so I politely asked her if something had changed because we had used LinkedIn if my wife didn't have her badge on her before. She could see that my wife's profile was linked to the hospital which requires an email address from the hospital. She was very rude with her response and tone by saying they have never allowed that in this store. She never once smiled, she never greeted anyone, and was just outright rude. I have no problem if a policy requires something, but you do not have to be rude and confrontational, especially if you are in leadership. Ultimately I'll still shop UA including this one, but if that manager is working I'll happily skip the visit.
