Three or four employees made it abundantly clear that I needed to find what I wanted and get out. I left with what I came for, but honestly, I walked out wondering what the hell just happened. REI used to treat members like family. Apparently, that's changed. After 15+ years of loyalty, I'll take my business directly to Patagonia and other brands from now on. REI: If you don't want customers in your store before closing, change your hours. Treat your members better.

My friends and I recently traveled to Rosman to float down the French Broad River. We have floated…read morewith Headwaters Outfitters in the past and knew we were going to have a great experience. The staff is welcoming as soon as you enter the store. They helped us pick the right dry packs for our phones and we were able to purchase other gifts as well. The safety instructions and map were very helpful and the float took us a little more than 90 minutes. A warm welcome greeted us as we reached the end of our float. We loaded the bus and headed back to the starting point. I love this float because we were the only ones on the river. There was no packing of people onto the bus and unloading with a slew of others with their tubes. We had the river to ourselves and we loved it. Along the way, we were welcomed by a gentleman sitting on a porch singing a song about people floating on the river. It was memorable. As was the trip. Great time, Headwaters! We will see you again!

Looked at a couple of motor homes. No prices on anything , another thing I don't like. When we were finally done we started to leave when the lady inside said she had someone to show us now. He was nice and took us back up to the motorhomes we wanted to know about. Used ones they list if any issues. Just wanted to see what was available. There is a few other places I want or check prices at. The salesman was suppose to get back to us right away, he did finally text like over a week after being there. Took our trailer down there and they told us that there was water damage that needed repaired. We told them that we have never seen a drop of water in the camper since we have owned it. Tried to say that the speckling in the paneling was the sign of water damage in the area. The whole camper is speckled paneling. I told them if it was damaged they sold it to us like that. It is all about trying to swindle you out of as much money as they possibly can. They were supposed to put a new faucet in the bathroom, put a used kitchen pull out faucet in there. This Store is a Joke. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE!!! I was an utter nightmare.
