They replied back that they had a plethora of items and would be open. (Yay!) When we were in town visiting folks we popped into the store a few days after Christmas ready to view estate pieces and pick one out! We were so thrilled Estate Jewelry LTD had a large array of very well curated pieces spanning many eras and designs. The shop owner was a delight to work with and someone you just enjoying doing business with because they are honest and have a great personality. We happily chatted away while trying on nearly 30 pieces. He took the time to explain pieces and had a keen eye for finding and suggesting items to try on that I would like. The process was really fun and we felt no time or purchase pressure which made the process all the more pleasant for us. The mutual respect we shared with the shop for keeping estate pieces intact and respecting the integrity and creativity of design was an added bonus. It is refreshing to find a shop that celebrates estate pieces for their beauty and charm. We had a few favorites but eventually settled on a gorgeous pair of diamond and ruby earrings. Checkout and pricing was a breeze! He even printed up the appraisal speedily after paying. They have a large array of pieces spanning many different periods, designs and pricing points. They welcomed any budget and had pieces to offer one would love the price as much as the piece. I would really recommend this to shop to someone looking for a special gift, wedding or engagement pieces, and especially to those who are seeking to sell jewelry as they really celebrate the beauty of estate pieces. My last experience was walking into a store, having the Clerk install my battery and walking out. That was certainly not the case here. To the almost 30 minutes, it took to get my information when I dropped the watches off; to being told my watches would be done on Wednesday, only to call on Thursday, to be told that they were done, but someone needed to call me before I could pick them up!That call finally came in on Friday. And when I have needed batteries for these particular watches before , every time the jeweler has always set the time. The time was not set on either of these watches and I spent the morning googling how to do it. (Complex vintage sport watches)I briefly mentioned how dreadful my experience was to the Nice lady that checked me out. And she was very nice to not charge me. Which I appreciated. The girl working was so friendly, and EVERYTHING IN THE STORE IS CUTE. Everything seemed so well curated. I personally was flocking to all of the jewelry; most (or all?) of it is either locally made or comes from fair trade organizations. Necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, you name it! There were some body products (like a dreamy cream I put on my hands), handbags, other accessories, and more. I ended up buying a unique necklace, but I seriously wanted one of everything in the store! If I lived in Asheville, this would be my go-to spot when I wanted to treat myself or give a gift along these lines.
