I spent so much time on the first floor I didn't even go down to the lower level so I have no idea what's even down there. I even bought some clothes -- what I will now refer to as my Pioneer Woman outfit -- totally not my style but so soft and comfortable. Bring the whole family -- the kids will enjoy the large toy and candy section -- and I didn't even look at the large Mast-branded jams, jellies and jarred food section because I wouldn't be able to fit them in my suitcase. Was beyond elated to know it hasn't changed at all. However he did let me know the Annapurna region now has roads and traffic going to and from. I remember a warm climate trail loop thru Villages, staying in little lodges, eating what the locals prepared. The jewelry especially the turquoise stone and orange coral necklaces with the medallion brought me right back. The chiefs wife in Nam Boche wore that exact necklace. He carries cool earrings and cool charms of the Nepali Namaste symbol. It was so neat seeing everything he had as I remember people walking around in those clothes, jewels and all the Buddha and Hindi type decor. He said he flies and buys directly instead or having people ship him stuff. So that he can choose quality and style of items he wants for accuracy. It's a beautiful shop, if you've visited India or Nepal, you will love it. I'm glad to see other reviews of people that enjoy this unique shop as you won't find these items unless you are in that part of the world. I especially loved the really old shaman drum he had, the cool sound bowls, beaded bracelets. I really wanted the little symbols! The products here a relatively expensive and it is definitely geared more towards tourists than anything.
