The checker, that was neutral at best, for the first visit must have saw me go to a different line and there were only 2. She came up behind me and said: Hey did you just come through my line and purchase your limit of items. I said yes, but please relax I am purchasing unrelated items. She just turned around and went back to her cash register. While I appreciate her energetic desire to follow rules, she may get a much better reaction by starting the discussion with a more polite opening, and thus the lower rating in my mind. To make it more complex, the gentleman that helped me was very pleasant and handled the situation with a calm and professional demeanor. So I'll settle on 3 stars.

They would not return them because they were worn. No dirt, no marks but they did ask me if I wore them and I said I did. They told me at that point, they cannot return them and asked if I had contacted Adidas. My response is why would I talk to Adidas when I bought them from you. I bought them the week prior. Apparently they have a policy not to allow returns on worn shoes. These had less than 20 minutes of wear on them. They refuse to return them. In this case, I would say you're only as good as your return policy and I would not recommend buying anything at Dick's Sporting Goods. The manager was very rude and Direct that since I admitted that I wore them, she could not accept return. Not a great policy in these times, from the sounds of some of the other comments, customer service is a problem for Dick's Sporting Goods.

Eventually a manager came to help her and the two of them continued to work on whatever the issue was. The original cashier just stood there, doing nothing at all. Eventually another cashier came to open another register and then her customer had an issue. Now those of us in line have been there at least 20 minutes with absolutely no acknowledgement by anyone anywhere. We customers may as well been invisible. I knew there were at least 2 more workers in the store, one in the back corner straightening out the clearance racks (hardly a priority when you have customers waiting for 20+ minutes to purchase their items). I understand that there can be issues at the register, no prob. But the utter lack of acknowledging the customers, thanking them for their patience, or proactively calling another employee to help at the cash registers was epic in the utter disregard for customers. Costco didn't have anything at drop off so we were left to search thru items here. Even the basic t shirts are $15. If you want an item that is Nike you'll pay between $70-120 for a shirt or hoodie. For those prices you should earn college credit!!! They have some changing rooms to try on clothing- which was absolutely vital to be sure items fit before buying them. They had a few couches which we kinda took over with trying to find the right sizes and take some breaks after walking all around campus. The women's side was disappointing because they had so many damn crop tops. Not everyone who is a woman is college aged and wants half of a shirt or sweatshirt. There seemed to be similar items and themes. It would have been nice to change things up a bit and have different things on T shirts and sweatshirts. We wanted to show support of our Beaver but didn't expect to drop so much damn money. Don't come to this store expecting good deals. Make sure you have a spare kidney when you checkout!!!

I took the shoes in hoping to exchange them but was told only the manager could do that and they didn't see a reason why she wouldn't. I bought a second pair and the same thing happened in 3-4 days. I took both pairs to the store when the manager was in and she almost immediately told me I was doing something to cause this like hooking my feet on something? I felt she was a little aggressive. She refused an exchange/refund and suggested I contact Hoka directly. I did and received a full refund. As it turns out, that is a known issue and something they addressed when designing the Gaviota 4. I thought the employees at this store were very knowledgeable and helpful. The manager's attitude will be what keeps me from shopping there.
