I've had thousands of photos scanned by Familyography. My orders have always been completed quickly and when there have been any issues, they have been resolved. Pricing is fair and it's nice to support a locally-owned business. In the past, I have mailed my photos to a service out of state. I prefer to know that my photos are in town and can be easily retrieved. The quality of the scans have been great (600 dpi) and loaded onto a disk that can be easily uploaded. They also offer a USB if you want that. read more

I'd like to thank Familyography for all their hard work on my father's photos and VHS, after his passing. Our family is eternally grateful for these precious keepsakes. Thank you. read more

I love this company and have used them before. Their prices are reasonable and they are professional and friendly. They helped me put together a beautiful slideshow for my mother's funeral which required converting slides and paper photos to be converted digitally. I highly recommend them. read more

These guys did a great job for me, twice. I had my dads old home movies converted to video. They did such a good job that my cousin had me take in her old films. They did old 8mm and vhs tapes for use. Took a little while, but then we weren't in a hurry. read more

This place is super wonderful, responsive and did great work for my family - my mother's parents recently passed, and while going through some old family stuff, she found an old cassette tape with a recording of Christmas with her parents, brothers and sisters from 1970. While playing the tape through, the tape deck came apart and my mother thought she would lose this memory, with my grandparents voices and silly antics. Familyography was able to get this fixed and saved digitally so that she can cherish this piece of her family forever! I cannot tell you how happy this made her! Furthermore, I found out that Familyography will also be able to convert old 8mm film to digital as well so that my mother will also be able to see her mother and father whenever she feels she misses them - seriously the coolest present I could have ever found, and this establishment is able to do it quickly, professionally, and at a seriously reasonable price - I will be telling everyone about this experience! read more

I needed a photo of my husband cropped and enlarged for his Celebration of Life. They did a beautiful job and completed it on time.

I had a childhood picture that I wanted to share with family. Dan did a great job of making reproductions/reprints that I gave as Christmas gifts. They were a great surprise for my 75 year old father and 100 year old uncle! It was nice to share the memory with them and had us talking about "the old days" and reminiscing - it was perfect. Service was quick and the reprints were excellent - possibly better than the original from 1980. Thanks for making a new memory from the sharing of an old one! read more

I gave them ~1200 slides and a couple reels of film from the 60's and 70's to transfer to digital. The images were turned around in less than two weeks and came out great. It is so wonderful to have these available to share with the family. read more

Daniel was wonderful to work with and gave me a fair deal. Communication was awesome. I gave him two 8mm reels of my parents wedding in 1978 to convert to one DVD. Very pleased with the outcome! He does all this stuff in-house and is open Saturdays, which most other places around town offering similar services dont have either of, which works out great with my work schedule. Will be a repeat customer!! read more

Great final outcome to a long process! I had no idea what was on 8mm tapes my father had been hauling around for years. I had Familyography transfer the tapes to DVDs. I said there was no rush and about 6 weeks after dropping them of I got about 6.5 hours of MY GRANDFATHER's tapes! He died in 1976! He loved to take pictures out train windows to capture the scenery! But there were precious segments of my grandmother, as well as many snippets of family gatherings-no sound-everyone waving! I asked Dan to make another set of DVDs, giving him the location on each DVD of the segments I wanted, cutting down significantly the size of each DVD. I just got them today - looking good! Just in time to share with my family for Easter. Thank you so much, Dan! read more

Wonderful service! Restored a damaged cassette tape from 1982, so my family could hear a demo tape made by a now deceased relative. Gave us the music back in several formats so everyone could either have a CD or the digital format. All for $20. Amazing people, very patient, explained the process, were very fast turnaround time. Just lovely experience from beginning to end. read more

The staff was very accommodating. I had many old photos restored and digitized, beautifully. A very nice slide show created for my for my family to keep and enjoy for many years to come. Thank you read more

Took my tape of little league games to this man before Easter , He misplaced it, have spoken to him several times and now the jerk will not take my calls, isn't even man enough to apologize or acknowledge he has my tape. The kids in the tape are grown and several grandparents have passed away. Just thought people should be aware of this before they trust with their precious memories. read more

Familyography was wonderful! In a very short amount of time they put together a DVD for my daughters college tryouts. It was very professionally done and was exactly what we needed. I had no idea where to go for a professionally done DVD and Familyography was suggested. It was a great experience and they took all the time I needed to make sure it was done to our specs. I've been back several time since and will continue to use them for my DVD needs. Connie g read more

I had the pleasure recently of working with Dan at Familyography! Unfortunately, I put him under pressure with a week deadline of a video I needed for my husband's 75 th surprise birthday party. Note: Getting Dan the photos and music selections was delayed by my husband having an extended hospital stay. Dan did an excellent job producing my video! He took great efforts to insure that the photos and music were placed to my liking! I know he had many hours involved and he truly "went the extra mile"! Our family and guests were extremely impressed with the production! We had smiles, tears and smiles again upon viewing! Thank you Dan for a job well done! I appreciate your efforts and I am glad to have added you and your company as friends! Sara Conville Columbus, Ohio read more

Stopped in to have slides converted to digital images. The owner, Dan, was friendly and finished the job quickly asking for my input along the way. He really listened to what I needed and delivered! His business includes converting videos and film to DVD, print images/negatives/slides to digital images, recording life stories, and more. I'll definitely go back for help with some other projects. The prices can't be beat, and the service puts customers before bottom line. Definitely a keeper! read more

Familyography is fabulous! I had precious memories of family moments stored on out of date VHS tapes that I feared would not stand the test of time. I took all of them to Familyography to be converted to DVD format to preserve them. I gave each of our 3 kids a set for Christmas which was even personalized with still shots taken from the content of the tapes I took in. Needless to say, all three kids were delighted to receive such a special gift that I could not go to "Macy's" to purchase. read more

Can't say enough good things about Familyograpy. We had several "cans" of 8mm film converted to DVD for a Christmas present. I can't wait to watch never seen before footage of our family on Christmas. Dan was great to work with and made the process so easy. Gather up your old films, videos, slides, pictures, ect. and go see Dan for a fabulous product!!!! read more
