Absolutely terrible laundromat. Half the machines don't tell the price, none take a credit card, all are ancient and small, even for $7 for a load! The dryers absolutely destroyed two quilts I was babysitting carefully. They got so hot they burned the threads holding them together like hot glue and they lost their shape. The place reeks of burnt plastics as a result. It is such a garbage laundromat I believe it can't be a real business. Likely a front for drugs based on three men I saw that clearly had done hard time based on their tattoos and demeanor. Two appeared to be "in charge" but did no cleaning, only emptying money from the machines. One younger one spread out like he was sleeping on the chairs as a bed and would only move if his phone went off. I would avoid this place at all costs if I were you. Even the front door is broken! Bullet looking hole in front glass. Vending machine for drinks inoperable but no sign on it. Like a third world country laundromat. Expensive, filthy, aged, unsafe... a complete dump. Ayer has a laundromat that is clean, well lit, friendly, cheaper and safe. Worth the drive, or use the Poplin app and have a laundry pro pick up and drop off your laundry for the same cost as a laundromat is my advice. read more
