I went in for my appointment and was asked to pay a balance I had never been told about. I…read moreexplained I was not expecting a balance and always pay any bills I receive in the mail. The staff became extremely rude, and I was repeatedly accused of being wrong without any explanation or attempt to check the records first. Despite waiting past my appointment time to speak with the doctor, the front desk threatened to deny me care unless I paid the disputed balance. Even after explaining the situation and that this was likely a billing error, I was treated with hostility and physically shoved out of the office by Stephanie Johnson. After seeing many reviews about the same PA Caitlyn, it seems they are committing outright fraud. I will be looking into to this and filing a complaint with the appropriate boards. At no point was there professional or compassionate treatment -- only accusations and intimidation. This experience was humiliating, stressful, and completely unprofessional. I do not recommend this office. Do not go here. No person especially an actively sick patient should be treated like this.

Dr Cavanaugh and staff, Brenda, Maria and Janea are the best. They make you feel right at home…read more Dr K spent an ample amount of time with me, each visit trying to understand and regurgitate what he thought the problem may be. I had a fungal infection in the sphenoid sinuses he diagnosed it. I had surgery and the problem was fixed. It affected my face, he also shaved the terminates, the sense of smell got better even though it wasn't in that part that detects smell. Go figure. He is very thorough and funny, but most importantly a great physician. If you want something done right, go here. He reminds me of old time doctoring, when they actually care. Thanks everyone.

As I expected, Dr. Cavanaugh said there was nothing wrong with my Eustachian tubes and my ears were fine. I was glad to get this confirmed and have since figured out my problem on my own (which had nothing to do with my ears). Dr. Cavanaugh was personable and I'm sure he's a competent, knowledgeable doctor. I read negative comments about staff but the front desk and nurse who got me set up, were both very kind and friendly. During the exam, he said he saw a bit of ear wax, and without asking my permission, preceded to use a machine to extract the ear wax. When I received my bill, I was charged an additional $105 for this unneeded procedure. I have a high deductible so I knew none of this visit would be covered. I was not forewarned that there would be an additional fee on top of the office visit. When leaving he had me schedule a follow up even though he said there was nothing wrong with my ears. (I cancelled) My warning is: demand a break-down of ALL the charges for your visit. I wish I'd said when I entered the room that I want to know if there will be any additional charges on top of the office visit. And beware that he may want you to return for a follow up. Use your judgement on that. I have no problem paying the office visit, but I'm upset that I was nickel and dimed.

My child needs his tonsils out. We've been going back and forth with doctors for several years, and…read morefinally, the doctor agreed it was time. We scheduled a surgery with Foothills Surgery Center, they have nowhere that you can leave reviews (I wonder why!). I was told we needed $400 before the surgery. Yesterday, I received a text stating that I had to come up with $3000 or my kid couldn't have his surgery. I called the surgery center, and they gave me options that I still could not afford. I asked for a monthly payment plan, and they refused. They either needed the $3k in full, $2500 plus additional monthly payments, or $1500 or more in monthly payments. I don't have that kind of cash! Their last option was CareCredit. I am not opening a credit card to pay interest on medical procedures; that is ridiculous. They canceled my surgery and refused to speak to me further. Boulder ENT then called me and told me that the surgery center is "not a charity". I wasn't asking for anything for free, I was asking for a payment plan that fits my budget and doesn't involve interest. The rep I spoke to told me, "Here is a name of a doctor, I have nothing else for you." Beware if you book here because Boulder ENT and Foothills Surgery center only care about money, not the health of patients. I'm pretty sure that them giving me a payment plan that fits my budget wouldn't hurt their pockets. And they do not care that they are hurting my pockets. This isn't about patient health anymore; this is only about money. I thought Doctors take an oath to do no harm!

I'm no doctor but I don't see how I could possibly get a diagnosis without a nasal endoscopy since that's really just looking up my nose with a special scope; however my entire visit was billed at $300!!! I spent 7 minutes with the doctor, he stuck a scope up my nose and told me I needed to come back because he wasn't sure what my issue was. $300!!! $42 per minute. I called to discuss this with the billing department three times leaving messages for the billing department manager. He never called me back -- the office just keeps sending the same bill over and over. Not a great experience.
