I had gotten tested before and was allergic to all but one allergen on the test, but that was in a different state. They didn't help me because I was moving and didn't even care about my asthma. Dr. Jag has been more than willing to work with me on finding the right inhaler, and really took the time to understand my issues. His staff are all very friendly and happy to answer any questions I have. I was on antibiotics off and on for 4 years for recurrent sinus infections. He's the first doctor that did a CT scan to see if I still had the infection after finishing antibiotics. I haven't been on antibiotics for sinus issues since the first month or two of seeing him almost two years ago! It is quite frustrating that they don't use online prescriptions and there's no portal to send messages on though. Overall, I love this allergist. I definitely would not recommend going if you don't want to have an active role in your care though.

My case was…read morepretty straight forward, and I had consults with at least 3 other ENT's before landing in Dr. Menachof's office in the summer of 2022. I was SO impressed by Dr. Menachof and his ability to listen to me, empathize with my situation, and his very clear level of expertise in the industry. Like I mentioned, I had consults with multiple other ENT's who I was pretty sure could take care of me surgically, but didn't seem to care about me as a patient which meant I didn't trust them. Dr. Menachof on the other hand very clearly cared about how sinus surgery would impact my quality of life, and get me back to feeling like myself again. He made me feel like a person rather than just a bunch of dysfunctional sinuses. The staff in the entire office is superb, everyone is really friendly and fun. They even have a text messaging system where you can text in questions that you have which is awesome in the recovery process when the last thing you want to do is get on the phone with someone when you don't feel well. The only minor downside is in my experience is that I would show up for appointments on time but the staff was running late pretty regularly. That being said I really think it is because they are trying to give each patient the time and attention they need, help reassure them and answer all their questions. I never felt rushed when working with the medical staff, and they always gave me the time I needed to do a complete exam so it really wasn't an issue. I am recommending everyone I know to go to Dr. Menachof's office, he is seriously a miracle worker and I fully trust his expertise!

I went to Dr. Menachof in 2022 to fix a deviated septum with hopes to improve my breathing and my…read moreconfidence. I shared my insecurities about my nose, it was crooked, too large and had a hump. I was told a combined septo-rhinoplasty would help both function and appearance. I asked for a very natural result and stressed that breathing was my top priority. Ginger reassured me I was in the best hands, emphasizing that he would revise until I was happy. Which should've been a red flag. Recovery was manageable and not too painful. When the cast came off, I was in shock. As the swelling went down, my nose looked more asymmetrical, scarred, and unnatural. And most disappointingly, my breathing hadn't improved, if anything, it was worse. Six months later, I underwent a revision septoplasty with Dr Menachof which made no significant difference. I'm now over two years post surgery, breathing has not improved. My cosmetic concerns have been brushed off and they have referred me to a cosmetic surgeon who can do filler in the nose. I refuse to do any filler and can't believe this is my result. Only recently did I discover that during the original surgery, Dr. Menachof had performed radiofrequency coblation turbinate reduction, something I wasn't clearly informed about or given the chance to fully understand the risk of Empty Nose Syndrome, and I now live with symptoms that match it, my right nostril feels painfully dry and obstructed despite it being wide open. My left nostril is constantly leaking and it seems to have only gotten worse over time, and all efforts to remedy it do not help. It's exacerbated I do any type of exercise, eating, talking, etc. It is humiliating, frustrating and a constant reminder of this mistake I made. Despite multiple follow-ups, Dr. Menachof continued to dismiss my concerns, saying everything "looks great" and that I'm just one of the unlucky ones. I wish I could undo the decision to trust him. I look back at old photos and realize I never needed this surgery and certainly not with this provider. I am beyond devastated and frustrated with my results and functional issues I now experience. I've become depressed and no longer can enjoy the things I used to in this life. If you're considering rhinoplasty, I strongly urge you to reconsider. I wish someone had warned me. Just know it is possible to have worse nasal function and appearance than what you have now, don't take it for granted like I did. I will not post photos here but there are some on other platforms.

Joining Maia was easy, and I have found the staff to be responsive, compassionate, kind and communicative. I had an initial appointment, some lab work and quickly got a plan from Dr. Heather. She is a terrific listener and she takes the time and space to really understand me and my situation. Her follow up communication is quick and excellent. The office has convenient appointments and thorough communication. The nurse is kind and competent. This practice saw my husband and when we recently had our first bout of Covid as well. I am super pleased with receiving primary care here and recommend Maia without hesitation!

Add to this they not only display it on a regular TV-sized LED screen, but they email it to you as well. They display changes across time to show significant changes to your hearing (if they've occurred). They give you options to maintain hearing aids you have or what's out there in "pushing the envelope" to restoring what hearing's been lost over time. I believe they keep my hearing sensitivity as sharp as possible.

My daughter has severe OCD, and processes information, depending on many factors. I tried to explain this to this "person", and he brushed me off by saying her cognition test score had nothing to do with her condition! Of course it does! "He" then proceeded to say that her cognition has significantly declined and my daughter should immediately see a neurologist regarding Alzheimer's. (She's 37 and is very concerned about diseases and illnesses). Her father died from Parkinson's. "He" said this in front of both of us! My daughter left the room crying and exclaimed she would never go back there and see him. I said neither would I! Such blatant lack of consideration for our feelings, along with his lack of knowledge should be reported to the Director of Audiology. As an aside, my daughter got her degree in classics and graduated Phi Beta Kappa.

Pre-op nurses- 5star! Surgeon- (Dr Schneider) 5star!…read morePost op staff and facilities- 3 stars, average nursing- some good, some not so much.. But the real problem... Anesthesia- minus 10!!! The encounter I experienced with anesthesiologist Dr Woodward who had My Life in his hands... was horrific. I did not feel safe!!!!! A horrible feeling while completely vulnerable. His ego, OMG. I hope the hospital HR reads this and contacts me. No call from anesthesia night prior- even tho I was told they would contact me- I had concerns, and questions. When I tried to have a pre-op conversation with DR Woodward, He shut me down repeatedly. All he cared about was my signature. Hurry up! Sign this. He just wanted to start. Seriously an absolute traumatic awful feeling. He was barking at the pre op nurse to hurry up with my IV. She was clearly rattled by him. My IV "blew". I complained. She made the decision to start another. He was clearly pissed at her decision and let me know "there is nothing sharp, nothing is hurting you". (As if at 66 years old I didn't know what an IV should feel like?") The second one started to hurt before it was in, now he got really pissed- he repeated his "nothing sharp statement", (I'd love to kick him in his testicular place and tell him it should not hurt because there is nothing sharp!" The nurse was trying her best to hurry under his command. Then he grabbed the mask. He couldn't bother with my needs. He just wanted to shut me up. He put me out! From the time he first introduced himself to the time he knocked me out- 6 minutes tops! Before the IV. In the pre-op room!! WTF???? I verbally told him I was anxious. My chart shows PTSD. I was actually crying! His action was far from "STANDARD of CARE"! He provided none of the bedside courtesy such as-"I'm doing this, next is this."----- Did I forget all this when I woke up? Nope! It is seared in my memory. Dear Dr Woodward- I am a kind person with a soul, not simply a case number and YOU did me very very wrong!! VERY VERY WRONG!!! I pray for GOD to touch you and help you understand how your negligent actions affect others. I deserved respect. I deserved kindness. I received neither. Maybe you should consider another line of work. The shoulder block you rushed to do was incorrectly placed numbing my diaphragm thus sending me home on oxygen (Your skill falls very short of your elevated ego). As I came out of anesthesia I I heard you tell the OR nurse that my heart rate dropped to 30 so u gave me a medication to correct this. I reported hearing this to my husband because it was concerning. I just read the surgical anesthesia report you prepared. You falsified the record indicating my heart rate fell to 40 not 30. You going to tell me I misheard?? Nope! I believe falsely documenting medical records is a crime!! I've had many (5) major surgeries including anesthesia. I'm fully educated on what a Standard of Care should be.
