This place is amazing. They are definitely family friendly and it has a great atmosphere! I am so tired of going to ranges that are for manly men (they think) only. I LOVE that this is warm and inviting place (it is SO CLEAN!) that allows the entire family to participate. Their safety training and instructions on how a pee pew works, how ammunition works, how to properly aim and most importantly, their emphasis on safety is to be commended. Another important service they provide is children are allowed to learn to shoot and handle a pew pew safely. Thankfully, they are expected to behave in a manner that, without question, SHOULD be expected while in a range! Screaming, horseplay, rough housing and the like are absolutely not allowed. All of the listed behaviors are truly a safety distraction and I appreciated that is not allowed. Last thing that I love about this place is their commitment to making people (especially new shooters) feel at ease. If someone on the range is shooting a high caliber pew pew and it is making anyone uncomfortable, they ask them to stop. Being new to this industry can be a scary, but exciting, new adventure. They never want anyone to have something happen that will make your introduction to guns be a bad experience. That make this range absolutely top notch in my opinion. My husband and I have plans to travel extensively. Therefore, we want to learn proper safety and self-defense techniques. After extensive research on ranges located in the Southeast region, I settled on driving 3.5 hours to take a safety class and receive one on one instruction at Family Fun Indoor Range. Let me tell you, one step inside the front door will confirm that you are about to experience something far better than you could have ever imagined. The decor is so elegant and classy. The Instructors are extremely knowledgeable and patience. I never once felt judged for my huge list of questions. I greatly appreciated not being rushed as I fumbled through my first time firing a firearm. Now a few months into my training, I have attended many of the amazing Advanced Classes that are offered at no cost for Women of a Different Caliber Members. Definitely better than Bud's Gun Shop and Range by a ... ahem ... LONG SHOT! I have had nothing but positive experience at Family Fun Indoor Range! Vladamir and Susan are two of the greatest people you could ever meet. They are teaching me a lot! They love the Lord, and they love to help people prepared to defend themselves efficiently. The atmosphere here is just amazing! The classes that are offered with the membership are impeccable! The teaching method is WAY better than other ranges. THE BEST range in Sevierville. Family oriented, safety minded, fun and educational. The owners are very knowledgeable and are willing to take the time to explain the why's and hows of defensive shooting. This is more than a place to put lead down range. The owners truly believe that every person should know how to keep themselves and loved ones safe. They offer many classes from the novice to the experienced. If you have trouble with grouping, they can diagnose the issue and helpfully explain how to correct it. They can effectively fit your hand to the right gun size and explain how a proper gun fit makes all the difference. Recently, during a visit to the Gatlinburg area my friend and I visited the Family Fun Indoor Range to take several classes and to practice on the range. We received top-notch Customer Service each time we visited. The owner, Susan was friendly and supportive of two 65+ gals seeking knowledge and fun at the range. We visited the gun range as a family, and it was a fantastic experience! The facility was super clean, well-maintained, and very welcoming. We had the pleasure of working with one of the owners, Vladimir, who was incredibly nice and helpful during the sign-up process. We stayed for about two hours, with five of us shooting, and the total cost was $75--a great value! The decor was also impressive, adding to the overall atmosphere. We drove over an hour to get to Family Fun Indoor Range and SO glad we did. First range I went to I was yelled at and told to leave, and all I did was look at their calendar for classes. Not this place! They took the time and talked to me. Family Fun Indoor Range doesn't intimidate any female when you walk in! This place is truly different. Highly recommend this place to anyone. Ok, first of all this range has a different feel than any other range that I have been to. It isn't intimidating at all. The staff is super nice. It is very affordable. Also, they are all about safety. They pointed out that this range is for women and their friends and family. If you are new to guns at all, this is the range for you.
