Thursday is half off pizza night. Score! We had excellent pizzas in our party of 9, and fantastic service. Ryan was personable, funny, and efficient. Several others helped him when he got other tables, and none of us felt neglected on 12/1/22. Not every pizza place makes white pizza, but I found it here and it was good. Next time I'll ask for a little garlic and spinach. Husband had the foundation pizza, and added sausage. He asked for oregano, which he got, and we had enough for whomever wanted it. Both pizzas were so good that we ate all of them. Friends had the 1863 pepperoni and sausage, and Festivus pizza with apples and. Cranberry jam. I got a taste of each, and liked both. We did not try the axe throwing, but we saw others enjoying themselves after signing their waivers. The place is huge, with an upstairs section that has an overview of all the TVs, axe throwing sections, and the beer tasting area (get a wristband to serve yourself). We sat on the ground floor in the back to see the making of our pizzas. When we got our bill, it was for just the total. We gave our credit cards to another server before getting the itemized bills. I asked Ryan for the itemized bill so I could tip accordingly - 20% of total bill before the pizzas were discounted. If I hadn't seen the pre-discount, he would have gotten $8 instead of $13. Didn't think I would be into the whole axe throwing scene but I was proved wrong after checking this place out. The staff was super friendly and helpful, they did a great job at making sure we had a good time. The axe throwing itself is made into a competitive game which makes it even more fun. This establishment also had a full service bar and bar menu for food as well which made it that much more enjoyable. The total for four of us to have a few beers each and throw for an hour was less than 100 bucks which I though was great. read more

Great place in PF for pizza/beers and of course Axe throwing. We really liked the pizza. The crust was crispy and tasty. The toppings were good with an adequate amount. They had a $3 Vol Lager beers from YeeHaw brewing the day we were there which was awesome! read more

We came out to try something different. Axe throwing was so much fun. From the scoreboard, you can tell that I'm not that good at it, but I had so much fun attempting it. First time axe throwing but I'd do it again. We had a reservation, signed a waiver upon entry, got the gist of how it's done and all the rules, and then we were ready to throw. Another fun stop to swing by if you're in the area. Friendly staff and fun environment. Don't eat before you go!!!! I made that mistake and didn't realize they had wings and pizza there. Seriously the most fun I've had in a long time!! You're seated at a bar-top type table in front of your throwing area. There is a short training session, and then you're ready to go! You can order food and eat/drink while you throw some axes. The staff members were all awesome and fun, and we had a good time chatting with them and watching them throw axes too! We went around 2pm on Sunday, and it wasn't packed at all (was actually pretty empty, apparently 5-6pm is when it gets busy). Seriously, if you're questioning it-- just do it! read more

What a great find! We'd never been axed throwing before, but Linda had us all not just sticking the axe in the target, but landing it close to bullseye each time! Linda was great, and provided tremendous service whether we were throwing axes or eating delicious pizza and wings. Very clean inside, well lit, and good bathrooms too. This was amazing fun for the entire family. Highly recommended! Parking is hard to spot at first, but just park next to the front door. read more

Super disappointed! We've been axe throwing before and really enjoyed it, so we were looking forward to coming here. We started off coming by at 2pm, just dropped in so no expectations. Half of the lanes were empty, but the lady told us they were full and it would be best to make an appointment and come back. It didn't make much sense, but we agreed and planned the rest of our evening around coming back here. Our appointment was at 6pm and we arrived early at 5;40 to make sure we filled out waivers and started on time. The guy told us it would be around 40 minutes because we had people ahead of us on the list. We told him we had an appointment and other plans, so he said ok he would make sure we were started in around 20 minutes. He had a list with stars on the appointments. We order food and beers. The beers came first and they were warm (not cold at all). The food came and it was like frozen food heated in a microwave. We were not happy with it, but we all said, hey we came here to throw axes not just to eat and drink, so we kept waiting..... Lane after lane kept opening, and they would take forever to even get to it to prepare it, then they would put other people in. We went to ask if we were next and they told us another name was next. We again told them we had reservations! Finally, at 7pm, an our past our reservation, with 3 lanes sitting open, we told them we were leaving. The guy said we were one of the three open lanes, but we had other reservations for later that we couldn't be late for. We basically spent an hour and 20 minutes waiting and watching a very poorly managed business. I went to talk to the manager before leaving and he had a terrible "don't care" attitude. In fact, the waiters and staff seemed nice, but under poor direction in a very flawed system with poor priorities. Here is some advice, people come there to throw axes. That is your pull, so make that your priority. Fill your lanes, turn them quickly, and take care of customers that make reservations because those customers usually plan other events too. Make a couple of lanes walk ins, but don't put walk ins ahead of customers with reservations. Coach your manager! He needs to understand priorities, people skills, and organizational skills. The staff was so amazing. Atmosphere and food are so relaxed, and delicious!!!!! Keilley our coach and server was amazing and had the best suggestions. Carl the Cook was so kind, the food was absolutely amazing, beers on tap are awesome. Glenn the manager was so kind, helpful, and personable. To ask for a better experience you can't as for. Any reccomendations they give you on food or drink. Just listen to what they say. read more

The most unwelcoming place on earth. Besides the fact it' looks like an afterthought inside, the staff was ignorant and uninformed - not to mention rude. I would not waste a penny at this place considering there are so many places that understand both service and hospitality within walking distance. read more

My 9 yr old son has been wanting to do axe throwing so my husband took him and he had the best experience. They were great to show him how to do each throw of the axe, ninja stars (which he loved), the knife, etc. The atmosphere is very friendly and family oriented. We will definitely be back. read more

The minimum age limit is 7 and up despite what their website says. The place was okay and the service was mediocre but they really need to update their website. It's difficult to keep a six year old entertained and safe while trying to enjoy the activity. We'd picked a different activity had we known. read more

We were in town with our 4 kids on spring break and decided to take them to throw some axes. After comparing pricing, food and drink options, etc with a few other businesses, we decided on Axe House. I called and made a reservation and the gentleman on the phone was very friendly and accommodating. Upon arrival we signed our waivers and were shown to our table. The server did a great job explaining the rules, and we could tell safety is a high priority which was very important to us having younger kids. He was very prompt getting our drink and appetizer order. We ordered wings, fried pickles, and the pretzel bites, and the wings were so good we ordered more. Some brown haired bartender just kept overlooking us as we waited for 20 minutes to be seated , then as soon as a huge group walks in behind us he immediately acknowledged them while still ignoring us. Made reservations. Arrived early; waiting at desk for a period of time with no greeting. Finally someone came up and asked if we had reservations, in which we said yes, 6 pm. They had us sign waivers but only part of the present party was able to sign, due to staff not available to set up next person to sign tablet. We then sat at a table to order food and waiting another 15 minutes. No one greeted us or helped. It was the worst experience we have ever had. Bad service, manners, and really disorganized . Took a family group of 8. We've been axe throwing before so knew what to expect. Very disappointed. We're used to having a "coach" to give us pointers and keep score for us and provide different games and contests. None of that happened. Also, we were jammed into a corner throwing booth where we couldn't view our teen kids throwing. A real bummer bc watching is a huge part of the fun! We complained and eventually they moved us. Worst service! They watched us walk in and 20 minutes went by and we received no service, yet a large group came in and was immediately greeted and tended to. We honestly thought the guy was finally greeting us at first, but then he made the comment "no not you". We then decided to leave because that was just ridiculously rude and we will not be back. Absolutely fantastic place. We were there late afternoon so it wasn't packed. We were greeted by the friendly front desk staff to check in. We had a session for an hour and our coach "Candy" was very helpful with our daughter who is learning disabled and needs a little extra attention.
