I asked him, while he was sat on a stool drinking his coffee, where this specific model was. He pointed to a display case across from him and said go look there. I checked but could not find the model, while Slim sat on the stool, holding an AR and talking to a guy about suppressors. Enter Russ. He was a pleasure to deal with. He checked the display case but could not find the model. He then checked the back room, twice and finally found the model I wanted. Every thing else about the purchase process was a breeze. Russ was very diligent and professional. He took his time to insure this was the handgun I wanted. Due to Russ and not Slim, I will purchase from Smoky Mountain Guns in the future.

Smoky Mountain Knife Works is probably one of the most insane shops I've ever been to. Prior to…read moremoving to this beautiful state, I came here thinking it was just some knife shop...it's so much more than that! You've never truly been to TN unless you've been inside a three-story shop that sells knives and swords of every kind, guns galore, rocks, fossils, taxidermy, and historical collectors items. I found a few WW2 Germany artifacts here and I knew I was in TN when I could buy a Nazi helmet and a gun at the same time (not that I did nor would desire to, but wow). Browsing their mystical "fossils" was fun, too. As a rock collector, I will say that the rocks were overpriced and honestly, not the greatest collection for clarity. What was priced well were the ninja stars. The staff here are all friendly and helpful, none follow you around which is nice because this store is massive and can easily take over an hour wandering around and browsing. If you're comfortable walking around knowing people are carrying and watching the sell of weapons, this store is pretty cool.

If you're looking for Airsoft guns, accessories, service, etc., they have what you need. They also know about Airsoft events and ranges around the area. Main downside is they don't take returns and the store reminds me of going into a pawn shop or something like it.

I've dealt with BCA on a number of custom revolver projects. I've always been treated politely,…read morefairly, respectfully. Mr Bowen is a gentleman. His work is the finest available. It is spendy, but if you need a rock-solid, tight and well-tuned revolver, you'll get it here. John Linebaugh, Hamilton Bowen, and Freedom Arms produce the finest revolvers available. The Freedom Arms revolvers are the strongest, and as finely made as the others, and cheaper, due to FA being a production outfit. The strength of the Bowen and Linebaugh revolvers is limited a bit by the strength of the Ruger Bisley on which it is made. That said, the workmanship of Bowen and Linebaugh is fully equal to Freedom Arms. The Freedom Arms grip is different to the Ruger Bisley grip. Some like one, some the other. I prefer Freedom Arms, myself. So, if the cartridge I want is available in the Freedom Arms revolver, I'll go Freedom Arms. You should try to handle each before choosing. You can have a 500 Linebaugh only from Bowen or Linebaugh. FA makes a .500 Wyoming Express, which is a very powerful cartridge; it makes a fine gun, but the cartridge is just not as aesthetically pleasing as the 500 Linebaugh. Being .511 in diameter, the 500 Linebaugh requires a slightly larger diameter cylinder than the 500 We or the 475 Linebaugh. This makes the 500 Linebaugh revolver the slightest bit 'off' in appearance. I recommend Mr. Bowen highly. Mr Linebaugh and Freedom Arms as well. Like everyone else in the world, they deserve respectful treatment, and might respond forthrightly to less than respectful treatment. ....I would...
