Everything absolutely exceeded our expectations. Their attention to detail, compassion, and patience translated into a beautiful ceremony and burial that will stay with us forever. We waited til noon and contacted another funeral home who picked our mother up from the medical examiner and had her in their custody while Bennie Smith Funeral home were still promising to go get her. The owner should've reached out to apologize at the very least, but he didn't. After requesting a refund, all we received was a sad face and a "sorry" from the woman who handed us the refund check. This whole ordeal was further traumatizing and extremely disrespectful. Please avoid! Death of a loved one is already traumatic, this business added more stress to our heartbreak.
