Avoid This Company - Poor Quality, Property Damage, and Unprofessional Ownership…read more I hired this company in September 2024 to replace my walkway and garage apron. In less than a year, after the first winter the concrete started crumbling and falling apart 6 months after the job was done. After the second winter, more crumbling. To make matters worse, their crew damaged my front step chipping off a piece of it during the installation and never repaired it. Getting in touch with them has been an absolute nightmare. I reached out on April 24th with no response, followed up on April 27th, and have been given the runaround for nearly three months. Today (July 15th), I finally received a call from who I presume was the owner, Tim. Instead of standing behind his company's work, he offered to "split the cost" with me to replace the defective concrete. Expecting a customer to pay a second time to fix a job that failed in under a year is completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional. Meanwhile two of my neighbors replaced their aprons a few years back and it still looks flawless today, not a single chip, crack or crumble. This is a dishonest way to run a business. Because of their subpar work, property damage, and refusal to make things right, I will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB and pursuing legal action. Save yourself the headache and money, do not use this company.

Their machine broke down after laying a 1/3 of the asphalt in front of our 3 car garage. She waited two weeks to come back. When she did... instead of taking it out and laying the driveway in front of all 3 stalls, they decided to try and patch it by laying it in front of the double car stall. Due to the weeks difference it looked horrible. Their machine breaking shouldn't impact a new house having a new driveway that looked good. Most contractors would have made it right to ensure not losing the large contract with the builder. Our builder had her come out to fix it and she made it look even worse. Her comment was it was functional. It wasn't supposed to be functional it was not a repair on an old driveway. It was supposed to be a new driveway on a new build. She refused to fix it so our builder had it seal coated by another company. While we were dealing with all of this she laid a couple more driveways in the development. They all looked horrible and one wasn't even functional. I spoke with another builder that just started using her. After a couple driveways they are done with her. They had similar problems with the quality of her work. There hasn't even been a winter yet so she can't blame MN weather. This was due to her machine breaking down and her trying to patch a driveway next to it way too long afterwards.

The second, and larger project, was a complete roof and gutter replacement for our 3600 square foot MSM walkout, which included some minor roof repairs to our 1987 construction home. The shingles installed were very high-end composite shakes paired with new color-matched aluminum gutters. The shakes required some special techniques to install, along with a certification from the manufacture, which their team possessed. For the portions of the project where they hired subcontractors, it was clear they would only use work teams from other companies whose leadership shared their commitment to honesty, integrity, and quality. From beginning to end they were patient, helpful, and available. I couldn't be more happy with how the process unfolded nor more thrilled with the outcome. Stone Arch Landscapes and Alex completed a project for me in 2022, and within a couple of months…read morethe retaining wall started leaning, and the pavers dropped along the wall. This wall is now out of plumb by 3-1/2" over a 4'-0" area, so out of plumb by almost 1 inch per foot. The pavers have large 1/2" plus gaps in this area, and there is concern that this wall is going to fail, and will fall. Alex has been notified numerous times each year about this issue, and he has refused to respond or answer my calls, texts or emails, he is ignoring the problem. When looking back, Alex failed to acquire a permit or to notify the city, which is required with any wall that is over 4'-0" in height, and he did not complete an engineering review which is also a requirement for walls of this height. Because of the lack of response from Alex and his refusal to warrant his work, I am forced to get quotes to repair and will need to pursue legal means to resolve the issue. Beware.
