The grits were not seasoned and there were huge 25 cent piece sized lumps. We ate there a second time and our meal was like prison food. My friend's pasta Alfredo with chicken looked watery. He said the chicken was dry and tough. It was made with obviously store bought pasta and there was no garnish. It was a big white bowl of white and off white food. Throw some parsley on it! My salmon and rice were okay. Not hot but lukewarm. The fish was thoroughly cooked, but fish needs to be slightly undercooked to maintain moisture. Anyway, the macaroni and cheese made me laugh. It was extremely watery. The bottom had lumps of chewy cheese. I realized the chef didn't know how to make a basic white sauce and incorporate the cheese into into it as one should. I think he mixed cheese and hot water together. I still can't believe it. We were the only ones in the restaurant. My drink was an old fashioned. It tasted as if it was watered down. There isn't a mixer in that drink so it needed to be stronger. We will never dine at that restaurant ever again. The server/chef was very sweet, but he needs to learn more about cooking.

It was easy to take my dog out the side door too. My room had a dirty ceiling (didn't notice until I woke up) and there were lots of black hairs in my shower. But besides that it was a very clean hotel. They have early check in and late check out which is also amazing! I will definitely be back to stay again when I'm there.

The check in was easy, the room was decent-clean and the beds were comfortable. The shower worked great and they had a great mirror to do your makeup. The only downside was that there was some sort of crazy loud disturbance in the middle of the night that we could hear through the walls. When the thing kicked on it sounded like a big rig falling apart and you can only imagine this every 15 minutes or so. We enjoyed using the J1772 Plug, we luckily didn't need a faster charge and both plugs were accessible making our ability to fully charge, pick son up and head back towards GA easy and stress free. I loved the fact we were on first floor and no carpet for hosting pet friendly guests. The space was perfect and we were able to walk to a restaurant with 1/4 mile that was Texan style where we also had a wonderful experience. We love staying in the marriott chain as we have always had such pleasant experiences.

Worst hotel experience. None of the amenities worked, the manager Kenny was incredibly rude and…read morelied to our booking agent. I called ahead to make sure the hot tub worked, it didn't, was pumping cold water out the jets. The tv in our room didn't work. The bathroom leaked and wouldn't hold water, the shower head squealed like a hawk. The room phone wasn't connected to anything and had no cords in it at all, just a paperweight essentially. I was told that night I would need to wait until the manager was present the next day to get any money back and leave, so the next day when talking to him he said since I booked through an agency he couldn't refund me or he would - took me number "to reach out" but was clearly annoyed the whole time I adverse to being helpful. I was told to contact my booking agency and when they contacted him he told them I was lying. Crazy for a giant company to go so far to get over on its small customers. There are many options to go elsewhere locally until this place figures itself out.

Good fishing and hunting. I have been going there since it was built. Enjoy the stay every time, only bad part is having to leave.
