Don't know how to start. My older laptop - had issue w/AC jack. Seems common with Asus. I…read moredescribed the problem & had it dropped off. Then they called & said they couldn't power it up. That it was the fan causing it to overheat, making it lose power. That is another common problem w/Asus. I told them no- it was not that but since I did hear the fan rattling - I asked that they do a thorough cleaning & lube to address the issue. They insisted it was the fan so I authorized replacing fan too. I asked if they couldn't power up the computer, how could they know?? So I get a call back saying computer would be ready in 4 days, since parts were coming in 2 days. I called the day before to find out that they never got the parts & they were waiting. I questioned why I wasn't told? Finally, they got the AC jack - but not the fan. I asked them to replace the jack at least & I would return for fan replacement. Once I got the laptop back, I noticed that the computer was working but the charging connection from the AC to Battery was no longer working. Prior to this, the computer was running only by battery power, not AC power. I told them to check if the connection somehow needed to be fixed & immediately was told that I would probably need a new battery since the Laptop was old. I told the receptionist (who refused to let me talk to a tech) why all of a sudden battery was issue when it had been running on Battery power for almost a year. Anyway - turns out the Fan was NOT the issue & they weren't able to fix the connectors & was told to order a new battery. Above which - I asked my C drive kept getting full & if they could please fix that issue. Had loooong discussion about 1 TB drive w/100GB C drive which was SSD. I asked aforehand, are your techs also software experts that could fix this issue & was told ofcourse (like I am idiot for asking). In the end - they could not fix anything other than the AC jack - which is what I had asked for to start & was told it was not the issue. The attitude was so bad, it was very uncomfortable. Everything I asked for was met with almost an argument. Needless to say, I will not be going back, not worth the headache.

I contemplated on writing this review but I can't shake the way this technician made me feel. This…read moreincident happened on Friday, 4/17 and this was my experience. I had my screen repaired and had it done promptly. At first, I was satisfied when I picked up the phone until I got home and started charging my phone. I noticed my charger wasn't charging the phone up to regular speed. It would be at 4%, back down to 3%, then back up for 4%. Turned off my phone and back on, went to 1%. I put it on airplane mode to speed up and the charging level was stagnant. I felt something was off so I googled "does screen repair affect the charging port" and it does indeed state that it is a possibility even if the charging port and the screen are separate components. I called and stated my problem and he said to come back and would like to help. Sounds promising but I only went back only to be told that "the screen repair has nothing to do with the charging ports." I argued that he was the only person I handed the phone to and there was no charging issue prior to today's experience. I felt that it was the only logical explanation. It wasn't like I waited a week or even 24 hours to complain. The problem occurred THAT DAY. He even went as far to take my phone apart to show me how they are separate components but bro I am not an iPhone technician that knows parts and components to the phone. I handed you the phone because I am trusting you to repair the issue. To add to the problem, I even went to World Market after to scan something off my phone, and the cashier couldn't even scan the barcode off my new screen. So overall, whatever the technician did, it made my phone worse. I spent $150 just to have my phone broken and devalued. I didn't realize that they use different products than Apple and now I'm regretting at this point. I'm asking for a refund and he says he needs to charge me for $85 labor AND that he'll have to put my broken screen back on. Like WHY would I spend $85 for you to put my broken screen back on. The price for the negative outcome is not reasonable. I got really upset and he goes "chill chill... this is crazy.... You're really going to cry over a phone?" This hurt me because I am just expressing my frustration and he is turning it around on me to make it seem like I am overreacting. He was so condescending. He would even plug my phone "see it's charging!" trying to gaslight me into thinking I said over on the phone that the charging wasn't working. I never said the charging was the issue. It was how slow it was charging and the logic points out that it may been his technique that interfered with the port. He refuses to listen to me and talked over my words. Absolutely no accountability nor any care to work with me. Could hear him mumbling "mentirosa" and talking crap in Spanish to his manager or whoever he was on the phone with. So disgusted by this guy's behavior and that hanging belly. Torta lookin a$$ poo toe. Never again. Bye.

I contacted Casio, who provided a list of authorized service centers, including Kami Electronics. I emailed Kami, and he responded the same day with a few standard questions. Scheduling a drop-off appointment was quick and easy. A couple of days after dropping off the piano, I received an update from Kami that Casio had approved a warranty claim and had sent the necessary parts, which were expected to arrive in about a week. Seven days later, I received another update letting me know the piano was ready for pickup. To my surprise, when I picked it up, I was given a brand-new Casio Privia PX-S7000. I highly recommend Kami Electronics for warranty repairs. A turnaround time of less than two weeks was impressive, and it was clear Kami understands the warranty process with OEMs and worked efficiently with Casio to get everything handled promptly. Overall, it was a smooth and professional experience.
