As with most shoppers these days we started our shopping online to decide colors and styles that may be available. Over the next few month, my wife decided color and style she desired. Since any taste I might have, is in my mouth, I trust her judgment over mine almost all the time. On a Saturday we embarked upon our quest to see the types of recliners (shapes, sizes and colors) that might be available. We visited store after store with little of any success. As we decided to head home and count our efforts for the day as a "good try", my wife indicated there was one more store she had noticed and wanted to make this our last stop. I was good with that. This store was in Castro Valley. We arrived, parked and went into the store. The store was full of furniture. As we browsed, my wife discovered exactly the look and style she desired. The owner was more than helpful and within ten minutes of our arrival, we had decided on the particular chairs we desired. The owner helped us by calling around to see if the chairs were available in fabric. They were and two days later our picks were delivered tonight home AND the old chairs were hauled away. Five stars on this review: - floor staff knowledgeable - called around and make attempts to find what we desired - delivery personal we're prompt, efficient and concerned that we were happy with the delivery. This was even to the point of asking me to sit in each chair as it was delivered to make certain all the functions were working correctly. THANKS SO MUCH BROTHERS FURNITURE!!!

They cared about the items in the home as if they were there own. They provided a comprehensive service, were professional, detailed, with excellent communication. Our goal was to empty the house, which they did by hosting an estate sale, donating items that didn't sell and moving items to landfill that needed to be moved (my mother in law lived in the house since 1969 and some items could not be sold or donated). And the staging of my mother-in-laws home and items was impeccable! Jen understood we wanted to maximize the price of the items, clean out the house and reduce the amount of inventory going to landfill - all three were accomplished!

When I informed him about a stationary I was looking for. He regretfully me they didn't have it. He agreed I could look around to see if anything struck my fancy. The floor is cramped with women's & men's clothing on racks. On the shelves are shoes, cd's , dvd's and various electrical and kitchen gadgets. Nothing had a price. The gadgets were stacked on top of each other. I accidentally bumped into a pic frame which fell. Nothing broken. I took it as a sign to leave before anything was broken. Signs noticed: cash only! No credit cards! All sales final! These had no bearing on my decision. It's a reflection of how difficult it is to operate a small business now. A true treasure hunt: YMMV. 9/15-10/15 is National Hispanic Heritage Month.
