It has been around forever. It keeps getting better too with more selection and better veggies and fruit hand grown by Eric Seaman. They have pick your own strawberries and pumpkins in season. They always have green beans and greens. In season they have blueberries, pumpkins, strawberries, melon, and more great produce. I love the cukes. Potatoes are always good too, Maine potatoes. He supplies a lot of local produce to the local Hannaford supermarkets and local restaurants. Eric is so nice and helpful and he works so hard. The best farm store around.

The vendors are fairly consistent and they each snuggle into their usual spots. I personally bee line to the Farmers' Daughter table for the whole wheat cranberry English muffins. I couldn't tell you the man's name, but he is an absolute gentle soul, always with a grin on his face. Actually, all the vendors seem to be happy to be there and that says a lot. I have heard from some vendors that they sometimes do trades with each other with their goods. How cool. "I will give you three mushrooms for a homemade whole wheat chocolate chip cookie!" Update: starting last year they started a lunch counter. The chef buys all her ingredients from the vendors and creates tasty sandwiches. Yum!

They seemed to be doing very well, so I just kept a close eye and watched them build and grow their business to meet the customer needs for local meat and vegetables....and as of the last year or so they have added so many ready made meals, and baked goods and desserts!!! I have been back twice in the past month or so and each time have stocked up on treats for special occassions. We loved the Quiche - very high quality and the taste was buttery and cheesey and eggey - LOVE! I have tried and thoroughly enjoyed their house made, english muffins, muffins, cookies, brownies and fruit bread slices. So so good. They accept cash and credit. They have a great staff/team of workers...they are friendly, and fun. The cat Darla - she was a hit with everyone that was with me...she is the perfect mix of sweet and spicy...don't pet her too long, she will hit you with her little mitten paws. She will rub up against your legs and allow you to provide a few pets...she will reach up with her paws/claws if you stop petting too soon. LOL There is so much that I love about this business.. If planned right, it would be a good place for picking blueberries if you're looking to support a local farm.
