She goes above and beyond day after day, leaving her personal issues at the door. Honestly, I don't know how she does it. David M. (BHT) Saved my life in a figurative sense. Without David, I wouldn't have completed this. He is a light in what can be assumed as a dark time in people's life. Sabrina (BHT) I refer to her as my Rehab Mom. She was always there for me when I needed her the most during her morning shifts. I can honestly say, I was a bit sad on her days off. She is an angel. Mia, Sarah, Kristin, & Jade (Nursing) These four truly answered to their calling in life. The were so nurturing, attentive, and always gave me my fair share of milkshakes. lol I will miss them deeply. Kelly (Director) Although I haven't spoken to her often, she was always quick to give answers when time was of the essence. Alexis suggested I start a bible study. At first, I was unsure, but after praying/sleeping on it, I knew I had to. Kelly was swift in providing Bibles for the 10 people that showed up week over week. I am indebted to her for that act alone.

This place can only give you back what you put into it. You must learn to compromise and live life…read moreon life's terms. Nobody is ordered to this place. They are given the opportunity, the option of fixing their life instead of spending it locked away or even possibly dying. I was removed from this facility due to something I couldn't control and I got back there as soon as I could to complete the program and get my life back. I'm so blessed they took me back. Thank you to every one of the residents that were there during my time of early recovery and to all of the staff. Thanks for the second chance at life!

This corporation is a criminal corporation that is all about profit and does not care about client…read morecare at all. They employ counselors with less than 90 days sober and have little concern for the addicts in their care, just that the checks are flowing in. I have had a few encounters with this place, the fist was a beautiful experience, life changing, but Progress House has deteriorated far from that place I felt safe at long ago. The living conditions are atrocious for the amount of rent they charge and the way they treat the women in the transitional living house is appalling. Anyone who is considering a life changing experience of recovery would be better of detoxing in jail and going straight to Alcoholics Anonymous. I feel there is a bigger threat of relapse here due to the resentments you will surely build living in this kind of toxic environment. Without a strong foundation of recovery, that I built completely on my own without the help of anyone at Progress House, I would never have made it out of this place sober!

He's suffered numerous hand injuries from the tight compartment on the said vending machine. Money has gone unaccounted for on a few occasions. The last time, they actually reimbursed him the 20.00. In calling to inform tem of an upcoming appt with Hus vascular surgeon, I was switched around, put on hold and finally blatantly hung up on. Very professional. Needless to say, even my easy going ex husband, who has been diagnosed schzoprenic for 30 yrs and with developing dementia, who BTW, they deemed mentally competent, said he was ready to go. There will always be problems with these facilities, but The Waters has set a new low standard. I definitely would not recommend them.

I personally became concerned about certain management decisions and the way some resident-care concerns were handled. I raised concerns through the appropriate channels when I believed residents' well-being warranted attention. During my time there, I also witnessed several directors and staff members, including myself, experience what I believe was retaliation after raising concerns or challenging management decisions. Several employees were subsequently terminated. Based on my own experience, I believe there are important questions that families should ask about management, employee treatment, staffing, and how concerns involving resident care are addressed. Based on my personal experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering this facility for a loved one to do extensive research, review inspection and complaint records, ask detailed questions about staffing and resident care, and speak with current and former employees before making a decision. I am sharing this review because I believe families deserve to have the opportunity to make an informed decision about where they entrust the care of someone they love.
