I made an ordered last night the arrangement I picked looks nothing like the picture it really looks like it was just thrown together with no effort. I asked my friend who father just passed to send me a picture and when I showed her what I ordered she was like it's ok I'll just arrange them around, it's the thought that counts. I sent these to a dear friend who threw me a lovely baby shower. The ordering process was easy. I placed my order last night at around 10 pm online and the flowers were delivered to her around 3pm this afternoon. The $15 delivery fee for same day local was reasonable. I was however a little disappointed with the size. I choose the mid tier deluxe arrangement and it seems smaller than other arrangements I've ordered from other local florists. The whole deal ended up costing me around $98 which is what I would normally pay for a true mid tier arrangement. My friend was delighted and that is what counts. read more

Very disappointed with the service and ladies feedback at the shop!!! My mom was nice enough to from TX order flowers to be sent after my knee surgery. I most definitely was not in the right state to see how nice they were, although when my mom arrived the next week to help me out - she was very disappointed at the quality and presentation of the flowers. She called and Brenda was very nasty to her on the phone and when I called to follow up the woman said they had a strict 48 hour follow up policy. I am sorry but I was a little out of it post-knee surgery to worry about calling back about flowers. There was no resolution offered besides sass on the phone. Finally, I love nothing more than to support local businesses in Decatur but this is one I will not be supporting again in the future. Update: after several stressful calls and this review the shop sent me a BEAUTIFUL new bouquet. read more

I had Fairview Flower shop send a bouquet to the Dekalb Medical Ctr in the hopes to cheer up my very sick son in law. My daughter sent me a photo when the flowers arrived, I was unpleasantly surprised, for my $78.11 was a very, very skimpy bunch of flowers, that were neither fresh nor attractive. My daughter sent the photo to the shop as they requested via e-mail, never heard a word. I called them 3 times and received the royal run-around, asked to speak to the owner, said he would call me back and of course I never heard from him. I've overlooked this little shop for years. I walked in and asked for $25 in cut flowers. They said no problem and 10 minutes later I walked out with a beautiful bouquet of mixed flowers. Very friendly staff and located a stone's throw from DeKalb Medical. Highly recommend. read more

Was a shop another reputable florist used for local deliveries. Day sensitive delivery. I ordered the flowers 3 days prior. They did not deliver. They did not call the number given. When i contacted customer service after 5pm on scheduled delivery i was told they went to the location in the a.m. but the recipient wasn't there and they would try back the following day. That simply is not true. There were people in the office earlier than scheduled delivery hours. Today, the next day, i was told the flowers were out for delivery. 4 hours later....nothing. Again, no call or anything. Asked to refund my money. Said they would and only apologized after several emails. Sorry for the inconvenience. Um, any reputable business would have refunded and sent the flowers out anyway. Not looking for free crap. Just making a point that this place and their partner (starts with a C) must not know what customer service is. read more
