The 2 assistants (who are very nice) did my intake, but I declined the retinal scanning (just did somewhere else and did not want to pay the $45). I was then informed that the optometrist is remote, not in the office, and needs the retinal scanning to perform the eye exam. I just needed a prescription for eyeglasses.
