Did not try the pool, but I was there for a comic convention and I didn't really have a lot of time to go swimming. The staff was really nice and genuine and it was close to the convention center. Very close to the mall so I found myself later in the evening going there and then going to Ford's garage to get something to eat which is right next-door. It was a really decent place and I've stayed in a lot of hotels that looks decent, but then the rooms were very terrible. They were also extremely accommodating when I explained that I get over sensory issues and that I did not want to be near an elevator. They found anyway they could to keep me away from that. Even though they had to juggle some things around.

I'm happy to start this review by saying -- finally -- this location gets it right. The channel guide is straightforward, and the remote has numbered buttons for easy navigation. A small detail, but much appreciated. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortably sized, with thoughtful amenities like a mini fridge and microwave. I especially appreciated the extra charging box on the nightstand, which offered multiple outlet options -- a small touch that made a big difference. Two downsides: my room had a window with a failed seal, which obscured the view. Hopefully, that's a one-off issue. Also, the pillows appear to be fluffy, however when you lay on them they flatten like paper. The hotel features a small but adequate gym for its size and an indoor pool, which is a nice bonus. The location is excellent -- close to plenty of dining and shopping options, but tucked away enough to stay quiet and peaceful. Easy access to the highway makes it a convenient stop for travelers. Overall, a solid stay that hits the right notes in comfort and convenience.

This is our favorite hotel when visiting family in the area. It is a sprawling resort, as the name…read moreimplies, and there are plenty of hallways, wings, and cultivated grounds to explore. Its an ideal destination for an extended stay. As a former seminary built in the 1940's, the architectural flourishes are second to none. Design aficionados will be in aesthetic heaven. There are three restaurants on site - an Irish Pub, a wine Bar, and a Steakhouse with a bar and breakfast service. The wine bar is definitely worth a visit, whereas I recommend the other two options primarily for their convenience. Service is exceptional and the beds are firm but very comfortable, nonetheless. The in-room TV supports casting TV & movie apps - Netflix, Hulu, etc. - but not music apps, for some reason. Fortunately we brought a WiFi speaker. A few notes on accessibility follow. For context, I can walk with crutches but need to use a wheelchair for long distances. And this hotel is all about long distances. We had an accessible king room, and while the lanes for navigating a wheelchair around the bed are tight, they are manageable. The bed is super comfortable but also very TALL. It could be tricky to transfer to the bed from a wheelchair without assistance of crutches. There is plenty of space in the bathroom and the roll in-shower has a good set up with an accessible shelf for shampoo, etc. Be careful with the bathroom door - it is a very heavy sliding door with a strange locking mechanism. The public spaces in the hotel, including the restrooms, are generally modern and accessible. I also noticed that the pool has a swing chair for water access. One exception is the Irish Pub, which treated accessibility as an afterthought when it was designed. There is no wheelchair access within the hotel - you'll want to drive around to the back to use its parking lot. Additionally, to get to the restroom or the second floor of the pub you'll need to use one of smallest prefab dumb waiters I've ever been in. Finally, be advised that the entrance to the hotel is at the top of a steep hill, and the porte-cochère landing itself is at a slant. Be agile with your brakes, and let your companion park the car after you've exited if you can. Also note that there are only 4 designated accessible parking spaces. We've seen them all full on multiple occasions; for a parking lot of its size, the hotel should probably add about 4 more.

The food is amazing. It's always clean. The staff is very helpful. They go above and beyond.read more

Free breakfast is ok where you can make waffles The fitness center has some free weights, weight machine, a couple of treadmills, a couple of ellipticals, and a bike. There is an indoor swimming pool which I did not experience. The rooms are a good size, microwave, stove top, full size fridge and dishwasher. Pillows are really soft, I wish there was a mixture. The big complain that I have is the television. It is a good size, go resolution however there is no channel guide. This means I must spend a lot of extra time scrolling the large amount of channels to try to get an idea what's on. This is very annoying.

I guess he looked it up we didn't hear anything else about it. The pool is very small , with our kids and another group in the pool it felt over crowded. The jacuzzi needs a revamp. It's not the rite temp and the jets were not jetting. They also need an adult time in for the pool. I mean it's OK for everyone to be in the pool at certain times I would just like to enjoy the pool without hearing all the screaming and getting splashed with kids jumping in the pool . A lot of of Hiltons that I stay implement a timeframe for adults only .This hotel also have a 10 o'clock noise policy meaning that the hotel would like everyone to be quiet at 10 o'clock normally that will be OK if we didn't have children we bring our kids to the hotels to enjoy themselves but also we respect to others so it wasn't a big deal but if you have intentions on having Small ones in the room , you may want to rethink this hotel. I know I would recommend this hotel. It wasn't bad. It just had it moments what I say again yes but only if I couldn't find another .

The people working here were very nice, attentive, accommodating, and helpful. And I know they were working very hard, there was a convention here over the weekend and many participants were also at the hotel, so the front desk clerk did a great job trying to help all guests. We got the two bedroom suite. I wanted a true staycation, so since they had a full kitchen, I brought frozen pizza, milk, butter, boxed pasta, chips, s'more kit, snacks, drinks, etc...It was perfect. They have a very nice pool, no hot tub, but that was fine. We spent the afternoon swimming. We took advantage of the kitchen and made all of our food instead of ordering out, but there are plenty of good businesses here I frequent to eat, like K Pot, which is a favorite, Buffalo Wild Wings, or Ford's or Black Rock, all good. We walked around the stores at Fountain Walk then headed back. They have a fire pit, so they turned it on for us and we made s'mores. We also brought a bunch of games to do a family game night. The breakfast the next day was included. It was not bad. I really loved the biscuits, they tasted close to Popeye's, which is a favorite. I also liked that they offered ice coffee and not just hot coffee, so I had that with breakfast. We took a small swim before check out and it was the best time. I would definitely come back here again. I enjoyed all of the accommodations. It was a good place for a family staycation to relax and pretend that we are far away from home.
