Our church had an very urgent need to repair an entrance door crash bar lock. Sammy, the owner, was incredible!!! He wanted to make sure our building was secure for the night so that he wouldn't have to charge for an emergency call. Yet, he came very early the next day, before business hours and his other scheduled calls just to accommodate our schedule. And did not charge the extra. And of course the door was fixed on site and works better than before! Extremely reasonable fee! $279 Kudos and praises!!! read more

I locked myself out of my apartment yesterday and there was no manager or maintenance person onsite so had to call a locksmith. They came in under 30 minutes and he probably had my door open under 1 minute. He even gave me some tips on how to prevent or assist them in the future (a picture of the house key for example). Very professional and courteous read more

Great service! I've been to 4 different places to get an RV key made and no one had the blank but Fairfield Safe & Lock

When another business you trust recommends Fairfield Safe & Lock, that says enough to have confidence in giving them a try. By the looks of it, they have been in business for many years. Due to a customer ahead of us, I had to wait outside. Wait wasn't too bad. I'd say 10 minutes or so. I was here to duplicate my travel trailer keys and they done a great job. I was out of there quickly. I highly recommend. read more

Sent them pictures of my vintage slot machine i needed them to open and make a key for. When they arrived looked like him and his son. Thought I had a vending machine not a slot when I told him several times it was a slot Machine. Needless to say They charged me $55.00 for a service call and wanted almost $300.00 just to drill the lock out. Way over priced from what other locksmiths quoted. His price was also much higher than what he told me on the phone. Sammy was also bragging about Almost 50 years of experience but did not even bring the proper tools to open the slot machine. Sammy then proceeded to tell me he did not have much experience with slot Machines. FYI next time me honest and not waste my $55.00 and time read more

Super fast great service! The owner was very quick definitely will be back again for any keys I need.

I accidently locked myself out of the house a couple of weeks ago. I was stuck in a cold garage at night with no way in, and no phone. I went next-door to my neighbor's house to call a locksmith. She recommended Fairfield Safe and Lock. We called the owner (Sammy Lam) and he said he would either send someone or he would come himself in about 1/2 hour. Sure enough, Sammy himself showed up in less than a half hour. After about 15-20 minutes of work, he had the door open and we hurried inside to warm up. Sammy was very prompt and very helpful. Additionally, he was professional, but friendly. I thought his price was reasonable. I would recommend Mr. Lam for all your locksmith needs. read more

I lost my car keys. Plain & simple. Just lost them. IDIOT! Plus I was about to leave in a few hours on a 11 day vacation. The morning after I returned I would need to drive said car to work. I can't afford to miss work & time was running short, so I was up against a wall. It HAD to get done. NOW! I did some quick research & Fairfield Safe & Lock had lots of good reviews, so I gave them a call. Although they had other appointments they must've heard the despair in my voice & did a house call a few hours later. They were able to cut me a new key & match up a key fob to my car within an hour. Although it wasn't cheap they were able to take care of all of my needs & I was able to leave for paradise worry free. I was caught in a pinch & they came through for me. WAY TO GO! read more

I can't say enough good things about this business. I reached out to have my front lock adjusted as it became loose after another company installed it a few weeks ago. Fairfield Lock came quickly to the rescue. Somebody was at my business' door the same day. I got a phone call with recommendations, and when I came back the next morning, the lock was properly adjusted. The owner called me a few days later to make sure that everything is still functioning properly. He also recommended that I reach out to another company to adjust the door hydraulics to ensure it closes safely. This is what I call great customer service. And this is the company I will give business to in the future. read more

The man who made our keys was an absolute pro! We brought him a broken key for a travel trailer and he made an exact replica, no problem. He was quick and efficient. The work is well worth the price and I would highly recommend this place for any of your key needs! read more

I lost the backdoor key to of vacation home. I wanted the new key to match exactly the one that was lost and had no interest in a simple re-keying service. Several "locksmiths(?)" either said they did not do this type off work or wanted HUGE amounts of money to perform this service. Fairfield Safe and Lock did the work in 30 minutes and their rates were refreshingly affordable! It is so nice to find a company that exudes professionalism and service. The store at 811 Missouri is a bit of a mess but it is just what you would expect from a true specialist. I would rather see a bit of chaos than deal with a dude in a truck! I hope this company stays in business a long time. read more

Always the best. If you want a done correctly. Fair price, great service and excellent results!

Prompt and fast service, that is all you need to know. I called Tuesday morning, semi frantic because I needed to have a new deadbolt installed. I did not think I would be able to be scheduled let alone have the work completed so fast, but that's just the type of service you receive at Fairfield Safe & Lock. Within 30-45 minutes a technician came out and within another 45 minutes my deadbolt was installed. Very reasonable in pricing as well. If youre looking for fast and prompt service, you definitely need to give this place a try. read more

Really more than 5 stars! I can't recommend this locally owned business enough. They helped my family out of a very big issue with not much notice. Sam (owner) is fantastic to work with- he gives great service and at a very reasonable price. We had an emergency due to an attempted residential break-in and he personally came and fixed the hardware on our front door. They also do a great job on keys and any locks that are needed. I have used them for many years at my business and personally and could not recommend them any higher-THEY ARE AWESOME!! read more

They came out within a few hours of calling and the technician was nice, funny, and helpful. He even adjusted the door latches so they latched properly and we had a spring in our door knob that was sticking that he fixed. 5 locks rekeyed at way under what I thought it would cost to fix them. I will use them again in a second! read more

Quick and honest service, great job! Will definitely come back in the future to get keys made.

Quoted $55 trip charge plus labor. Lock was structurally sound no damages. Just needed a little adjustment and tightening. Wanted to charge $100 for less than 15 mins of work. Prices are extremely high. Will not recommend or use ever again. read more

They were friendly, quick and flexible with my schedule which was great. However, ever since they changed the locks on the front door of our home, it doesn't latch properly. We can lock and shut the door and if a big gust of wind comes or anyone pushed the door it opens!! This has been such a pain for us. They also charged us more than what they originally quoted but didn't do a proper job. On another note, all door knobs were brand new and after he left the one on the door out to the garage was scratched up. Not sure what happened here but we are definitely not satisfied and now are stuck with a door that doesn't lock properly. read more

We recently purchased a new-to-us vehicle which only came with one key. Fairfield Safe & Lock was wonderful, specifically the owner Sam! He did not have a blank in stock but got one in and then cut/programmed it very quickly so I would not be without a back up if the main key was lost. Sam and his staff are all very professional and the pricing for the key was definitely reasonable compared to what the dealership would have charged us! Fairfield Safe & Lock will be highly recommend it to anyone needing the services they offer... Thanks again Sam!! read more

Exceptionally courteous, knowledgable and fast service! I don't write Yelp reviews often, but the experts at Fairfield Safe & Lock deserve special mention... On Friday night someone threw a 20 lb rock through my friend's car window and stole my bag with irreplaceable Chinese top, professional face painting kit and keys. Needless to say, I was very upset. Sammy from Fairfield Safe & Lock graciously arrived at my door after work hours with a warm smile. He skillfully changed the combination for the locks and swiftly produced shiny new keys. Fairfield Safe & Lock's quick, experienced, and compassionate service has restored my faith in humanity. read more

airGreat customer service! Friendly, competent, experienced staff. Sammy was very kind and professional on the phone and set up an appointment for the very next day! The technician that came out was clear and upfront on what the costs would be on one slightly complicated french door lock. He worked fast and efficiently. All the locks were changed on our house to have one key for all. So convenient! Thank you Fairield Safe & Lock Co., we will definitely use you for all our future safe and lock needs! read more

Don't go here. They made me pay $75 for a cheap copy of my motorcycle key. Not only did the key not work but it bent and broke off inside the gas lock. I barely even turned the key and it broke like that. Now I have to replace the whole lock set in order to ride my bike. Look around there's much better locksmiths than these guys. read more

Horrid prices! I needed one lock on my car replaced and a new key, they quoted me $595!!!! Outrageous! Plus they said they would need my car for the entire day. Great service. Sammy fixed the glovebox lock on my 1984 300zx using a salvage lock I bought from an auto wrecker.
