I accidently locked myself out of the house a couple of weeks ago. I was stuck in a cold garage at night with no way in, and no phone. I went next-door to my neighbor's house to call a locksmith. Sent them pictures of my vintage slot machine i needed them to open and make a key for. When they arrived looked like him and his son. Thought I had a vending machine not a slot when I told him several times it was a slot Machine. Needless to say They charged me $55.00 for a service call and wanted almost $300.00 just to drill the lock out. Way over priced from what other locksmiths quoted. His price was also much higher than what he told me on the phone. Sammy was also bragging about Almost 50 years of experience but did not even bring the proper tools to open the slot machine. I can't say enough good things about this business. I reached out to have my front lock adjusted as it became loose after another company installed it a few weeks ago. Fairfield Lock came quickly to the rescue. Somebody was at my business' door the same day. I got a phone call with recommendations, and when I came back the next morning, the lock was properly adjusted. The owner called me a few days later to make sure that everything is still functioning properly. He also recommended that I reach out to another company to adjust the door hydraulics to ensure it closes safely. This is what I call great customer service. He even adjusted the door latches so they latched properly and we had a spring in our door knob that was sticking that he fixed. 5 locks rekeyed at way under what I thought it would cost to fix them. They were friendly, quick and flexible with my schedule which was great. However, ever since they changed the locks on the front door of our home, it doesn't latch properly. We can lock and shut the door and if a big gust of wind comes or anyone pushed the door it opens!! This has been such a pain for us. They also charged us more than what they originally quoted but didn't do a proper job. On another note, all door knobs were brand new and after he left the one on the door out to the garage was scratched up. Not sure what happened here but we are definitely not satisfied and now are stuck with a door that doesn't lock properly. read more

Don't go here. They made me pay $75 for a cheap copy of my motorcycle key. Not only did the key not work but it bent and broke off inside the gas lock. I barely even turned the key and it broke like that. Now I have to replace the whole lock set in order to ride my bike. Look around there's much better locksmiths than these guys. read more

Great service. Sammy fixed the glovebox lock on my 1984 300zx using a salvage lock I bought from an auto wrecker. The salvage lock I bought did not match the color of my dashboard but they were able to use the orignal lock's casing and simply swapped the broken mechanism with that from the surplus lock.
