Before he started we chatted briefly about what my goals were and why I was interested in the audit. We came up with three goals and went from there. He tested the air quality of my home and did a blower door test. We found some surprising areas that was losing heat and were inefficient. He was helpful in ideas for quick home fixes to making a list of problem areas to focus on. I was pleased with the whole experience. I wouldn't have realized energy audits were a thing until I spoke with a co-worker who recently had one conducted. I am glad I got one done on my home. Other contractors pointed to warped flashing. The repair was not actually very big or expensive, and they assessed that the roof has 10-15 years left. Can say pretty confidently after a few storms that they were right. All make mistakes, but that misdiagnosis would have really set me back. Would recommend getting other quotes.

I am thrilled with my experience. We had our crawl space insulated and encapsulated. Everything…read morewas done exactly as described, on the date promised and no attempts to get more $$. The sales person was efficient, thorough and honest. The installers were friendly and kept our home clean while working and cleaned up after themselves. Photos attached of the finished job. Also, that musty smell is GONE in the basement that is adjacent to the crawl space. When you look at the photos, bear in mind we insulated between the joists ourselves.
