Honestly, the reviews worried me a bit but this turned out to be a wonderful stay! The hotel grounds inside and out were prestine. It just so happened that we were staying the same weekend as an entire college basketball team and it was packed. Regardless, everyone was friendly and mindful of others. We stayed on the 3rd floor and it was soooo quiet. Our room was more than clean and modernized, the beds were comfortable (except for the pillows. We had to double and triple up on those because they went pretty flat when you put your head on them), and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. I must not have been paying attention because when did they carry Gochujang???? I see you Fairfield! Also their coffee is ALWAYS piping hot so be careful. The entire staff were great and friendly, especially the cleaning and buffet staff. Would love to stay here again. read more

Hubby and I were visiting our NJ relatives who stay in Sebastian for their vacation and made a reservation at this location. It was perfect next to 95 and convenient to shopping and dining choices. Our accessible room was clean and spacious. The bed was so comfortable that I immediately went to sleep, unusual for me in a strange place. Noises were nonexistent - even though the highway was close by. The breakfast included was the absolute best we have seen - everything from hot to cold options. And the servers were great and very attentive to our needs. It was definitely a great experience to start the day. We're now keeping the Fairfield brand on our go-to list of places to stay when we travel. read more

As a gold ( few nights from platinum ) member looking to become platinum my stay here was one of the worst one yet top 5 for sure. This place not only did not put my bonvoy number on the system, charged me WiFi twice, didn't prep the room as per app and didn't give me my late check out. They also did not return my deposit because of my chihuahua that is a service animal and has its legal papers which legally can't be asked for but they insisted on it to allow me to stay. We love going to Vero beach!!! we typically go and bring our jet skis. I like to book a hotel and make it a day. I was pleasantly surprised when I booked this hotel by mistake! lol We always like to stay at a Marriott and I guess I didn't book the one we typically book. This hotel was nice it was clean, the staff was friendly (mostly) the lady serving breakfast could have used some help. It was a busy place in the morning. Although this hotel is clean, and looks to be recently renovated, the service is terrible. They have been out of milk and yogurt since we checked in. 4 days ago. Yet they have boxes of cereal. Yesterday a man asked about it and the not so friendly woman working in this area told him, no milk but we have half and half. Our room has yet to be cleaned even though I went to the front desk to let them know and was assured it would be cleaned today. Nope. I had to go back down to the front desk to get soap and towels. We travel a great deal for work and are silver level at Marriott. We are gold members at Hilton. I guess we will stick with Hilton. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR SAFETY. Our door was NOT FUNCTIONAL and NOT SECURE during our stay. Our door would NOT shut. No matter how hard we tried to slam it, pull it, push it from the inside, etc. the only way to prevent anyone from coming in, we had to barricade the freaking door shut and use the "flap deadbolt" thing to secure ourselves. We missed reservations and plans for the entire evening because we literally could not leave our hotel room due to it not being secure. We called down to the front desk 3 times initially asking for maintenance and were advised they would show up to assist but couldn't tell us when. we were told maintenance was tied up with a broken AC issue in another room and were unsure when this would be fixed. Went down to the front desk in person about 3 times after that asking for updates on when our door could be fixed but was met with no further answers or updates. The lady helping us out was genuinely trying her best and was super nice and as informative as she could be though. I felt like she was the only one trying to help us. We expressed our concern for safety and the fact that we literally couldn't leave or go to any plans we had made due to this issue. We asked for a room change and we were told that the hotel is full except for 4 king rooms and a suite, but 2 had probabilities of being occupied later that evening and 2 were open but we were told that the GM advised her to not give one to us because they wanted to "leave them open for more reservations." We have video proof of us trying everything to close the door and advised front desk of this and still nothing was done. We slammed it, pulled it, tried using the key card to somehow trigger something in the door, and nada. It opened no matter what, even with the slightest push of a finger. We ran into another guest who said he was experiencing the exact same thing. Additionally, we spoke to our neighbors and although their door was able to shut, they had to loudly SLAM it shut for the door to "catch" and close. It was also adding to the fact that the hotel was super loud because of that but it was at no fault to the other guests. After hours of waiting on someone to fix this, we went ahead and called down saying we could barely stay awake waiting for someone to show up and to not even bother with maintenance anymore but that we wanted to speak to the GM the next day. We barricaded our door to sleep and hoped for a better morning. We talked to a new front desk agent about our situation and she seemed to be unaware that we had issues the night before. She said that the GM was not in but that she would take down our info and have the GM call us back when she gets in Monday. She expressed concern and apologized for the mishap. We waited to hear back. Nothing. We called twice Tuesday. The first time we were told that she was out of the office and would call back that afternoon when she comes in, and heard nothing. Tried again that day and no one answered. Tried calling Wednesday and was advised she was on a conference call but she would get back to us after... guess what. Nothing. No phone calls back.. Management could genuinely care less about your safety and any concerns you may have about your stay. Prepare to get the cold shoulder if you have any issues. If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would. It's disgusting how they are so lackadaisical about guests' safety and have taken zero steps to remedy during and after the situation. If i was traveling as a single female alone, imagine the horrible scenarios possible and amplify that with a staff that really couldn't care less. We were very polite, patient, and understanding the entire ordeal. Never being rude or hostile or showing frustration, just asking for help and asking questions with a smile. We got zilch in return. My boyfriend is a Marriott gold elite member so we had a bit of higher expectations with our stay but it makes me so sad that he wasn't even given the BARE minimum treatment of respect and empathy/sympathy. read more

They get a 1 star is because it's convenient to the highways and Cracker Barrel. I booked 1 night and had to extend my stay at last min. The lady at the front desk said I could and the price of the 1st night would stay the same. Obviously if it wasn't I would have gone somewhere else. We agreed on the set price, well the next morning at check out the price was $50+ more. My card was also used and charged $230 which I didn't approve nor was I given a receipt. This is either because 1. They knowingly used my card 2. They accidentally used it, which means they didn't check an ID at check in, because they never checked mine. Either way, I'm out $230 dollars, Ana the operations manager still refused to do anything about the over charge and the stealing of $230 right before Christmas!!! She didn't call me back when she said she would. I called her back after not hearing anything and another lady answered the phone. I asked for Ana and said who I was and in the background you here, "I'm not here", I said when will be back in, again in the background "tomorrow" and the lady said tomorrow. I never got a call back and haven't since. I contacted customer service and they really didn't do anything either, just said they would email Ana. Ana finally emailed me back not addressing any of the money issues. The management here is worthless. Don't wait your time. This is pretty upsetting since I have spent thousands or dollars and lost of time staying at Marriot properties. This has me questioning on what time of professionals they hired or lack there of. Rooms are dingy but quiet, and as mentioned before, close to Cracker Barrel, and thank god because the breakfast here is subpar, just skip it all and stay at the other hotels across the street. Pros: The place is 3+ years old and still in very good condition. The common spaces are nice and the room was spacious. Cons: we were here for 3 nights and our room was never serviced. I requested service on the Bonvoy app and when I checked in and nothing. One housekeeper in passing on our hall asked if we needed anything and I said yes, towels and my room #. We didn't get those either. When I went down to the front desk I really didn't get an apology but I was able to get towels. read more

We stayed here for our daughter's lacrosse tournament. The hotel was very clean and new. The staff was wonderful. When we had an issue with 1 of our beds, Teresa at the front desk was on top of it and she continued to be amazing during the rest of our stay as well. The location was close to the tournament, but about a 20 minute drive to the beach. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vero Beach especially if they are here for any tournaments at the South County fields. read more

New property and hope it stays nice! Spent a couple days and while the property was new and nice, the care of it tells me that it won't look that way for long. Went to have the continental breakfast and work on my laptop in the main area for a couple hours. In that time, the staff only checked in on the area one time to replenish the coffee. They never wiped any tables or the counter. Food was not replenished and the trash was overflowing to the point that it was all over the floor and left on tables because there was no other place to put it. It would appears that there needs to be an upgrade to the management team to be at the same level of being a newly built property. read more

Brand new hotel, upon arrival, greeted immediately and check-in was at 3pm but we needed to wait 30 minutes for our rooms to become available which was understandable so we went to eat at Fishack down the road. The staff weren't wearing masks but behind protective glass except upon check-out that front desk employee was wearing a mask, nice pool with bbq, equipped gym, no breakfast spread rather grab-n-go containing of assorted juices/water/muffins and apples and no housekeeping due to Covid which again understandable. The room was new, clean and perfect. The best part of the room was the Paul Mitchell products in the shower and tv had everything available across the board which was great! Hotel is centrally located, surrounded by everything including outlet shops, Vero Beach, Jaycee Park, Wabasso and more. My only complaint were the pillows, 4 on the bed, down feathered pillows and when laying on them or using them to sit up they went flat....even all four together for one person wasn't doing it....I highly suggest bringing your own pillows for proper support. In escaping the horrors of hurricane Ian, i feel so lucky to have been able to spend some time at the Fairfield Inn, Vero Beach, Fl. The room was very clean and quiet as was the entire hotel. It was the magnificent staff, however, that made my stay so wonderful: Manager Marla could not have been more inviting and kind and Kristina, Kaleb and Amanda, the young front desk staff members, were so kind and helpful that i will never forget these great people who have beautiful interpersonal skills, a rarity today! Also the housekeeping staff were so efficient and helpful, extremely nice people. The location of the hotel is great as well and the grounds are well-maintained. Rumor has it that great customer service is dead nowadays, but it actually is alive and well with the glorious staff at the Fairfield Inn, Vero beach! I am so thankful to each professional employee who made my unexpected stay so relaxing! read more
