Seems clean. But not on par with most Fairfields that I have been in. Food in morning is poor. Old eggs. Juice not working. Toaster is uneven. Lousy parking lot not big enough for all rooms. People were nice but unless owners invest in this business it will not be a marriot for long. read more

I stayed here on December 23rd to be closer to the airport for my flight the following day and I was smart enough to book the jacuzzi suite. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained. The tub was in perfect condition with clear instructions nearby. The cable and TV went out two hours into my stay and stayed off the whole night but the staff graciously offered me some points on my rewards account for the inconvenience. Shuttle to the airport was easy to catch the following morning, they run every 30 minutes starting at 3AM - all you have to do is show up at the front desk! Overall, I would recommend staying here. This hotel is a lawsuit in the making with carpets torn up - doors covered in paper and duct tape. I seriously thought I was in a haunted house. Visiting Seattle just for the weekend. I mean, you get what you paid for. My room looks like every picture that other reviewers posted. Simple, outdated, but like I said you get what you paid for. Free parking and complementary breakfast. When the airplane fly in and out, you feel the ground kind of vibrating or shaking...since I'm from California, I'm always like "omg you feel that? Is that an earthquake" lol but you get what you paid for. Very convenient near the airport. I only booked this place because my inbound flight is very early in the morning. I have been staying about 100 nights on average per year for the last decade at Marriott properties, and my stay last night here was the worst Marriott experience I have had. Hotel is under significant renovation. No exercise room and no hot water during the day. The entire first floor is in various stage of renovation. I stayed on the 3rd floor and was put into one of the recently renovated rooms. The new look is minimalistic and doesn't make much sense. For example, the shower doors are barn style sliding doors but the bathroom door itself isn't so when you open the door it ends up resting right in front of where one would enter the shower. Why not make the bathroom door barn style as well? Also, new lighting has sensors and turns on even if you don't want it to such as a midnight bladder relief, and it turned off while I was in the shower. Door wouldn't shut properly, door lock wouldn't engage, and worst of all, I cut my foot on the transition between the tile and carpet. Hotel should have been shutdown during this renovation and new room layouts and decor should have been more though out as its painfully obvious how cheap and tawdry it feels, and seems very distant from the Marriott product I am accustomed to experiencing. read more

During a home remodel I stayed here for almost a week. This place is an excellent hotel. The staff is helpful, friendly and efficient. The breakfast is a great value, and always provides a waffle maker, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, muffins, toast, scrabble eggs, some sort of sausage, and much more. They provide a free 24 hour shuttle to and from the airport. They'll even take you anywhere you would like to go within a mile from the hotel which is great for colder or rainy seasons. My absolute favorite part about this hotel would be their beds and soap products. The beds are extremely comfortable. So much so that I found it hard to get out of bed each morning. They provide good quality shampoo, conditioner and body soap. The only thing that kept me from giving this place 5 stars would be their price. Weekends are usually priced better than weekdays. My price jumped between $79 for a night all the way up to $129 for a night, which I think is way too high! read more

The location is the most convenient part about this hotel. There is a shuttle which we used the first day Mark had an outstanding personality and is awesome at his job. The next day we had Jamal as our shuttle driver, he was extremely rude and completely ignorant which is what made us take an uber and then rent a rental car the same day. This is not a hotel to stay if you are completely relying on taxis, city buses or streetcars - this is definitely for the people who are basing themselves and have a car, open budget, or are conducting business. Actually I would stay here if I had business to carry out in seattle as the location to the air port was great. And the free 24 hour airport shuttle is a bonus. On arrival it is simply going over in to level 3 of the car park - walking out and crossing teh street to the phone and dialling their extension and woola 15 minutes later the shuttle is there (that's for people who do not pre book- as we were not sure of the time we would actually get into Seattle we were unabel to pre book) other guests mentioned that they had told the hotel their arrival time/flight number and there the shuttle was right there - nice. On check in the staff were warm, and all had lovely smiles. Once we checked in - we were told about the free mall shuttle services and the fact that their own shuttle would take as anywhere (distance restriction) within a certain distance from the hotel. This was really lovely. The staff even offered to contact the mall shuttle to ask if they could fit us in that evening - had we arrived earlier we most certainly would have though we were very tired - having only just arrived from a Australia - LAX - Seattle flights we were tired *(just to be put in context). The hotel - the room was of a good size. It was clean. It had a good sized and comfy bed, flat screen TV., the odd thing for us was that the bathroom had the toilet and shower/bath but the wash basin was outside of the actual bathroom. To save on space (obviously) the hotel placed this out in the entry way - not so it was difficult to move - there was plently of space still - but had the basin doubled as the 'kitchen sink'. Very odd as we've never seen this before. There was no TV guide listings - which was a bit of a hassle with so many channels to choose from it would have been nice to have had that available. The staff were offering us information on the local restaurants in the area for dinner options; we there ready to help all hours (I was still up and about at 1 am local time). The heater worked well (as it was their winter). It was a quiet room; there was not audible noises from other guests during our one night stay either. There were some tea/coffee facilities in the room but was easier to go down stairs. There was a coffee station in the lobby that was open for all guests to use: this included ready made hot coffee, decaf, tea bags for selection and surprisingly had milk *half and half, hazelnut milk and vanilla milk to add to your hot drink. There was also hot chocolate selection. The staff were very happy to answer our questions; including making calls to the local tour providers to check on availability - it really was a pleasure... at no time did we feel like we were 'making' them do things or what we were asking was too much. They really did want to help. and did so. As part of our room deal we received continental breakfast: being able to taste the America food was an experience in it self. Great hotel, and a great price especially for the area. They are so nice here which is exactly what people want when they are on vacation away from home. The girl who's name starts with a D and has a red hair was sooo kind! She should totally get a raise, she's that rare of type employee that truly makes a difference/makes your business 10x better and you can tell she loves her job. She literally gave me her own almond milk for my cereal since the hotel only offers dairy for the cereal. That was extremely kind of her considering I was just a stranger to her. They have a grab n go breakfast menu which varies daily between bk sandwiches, fruit, coffee, waffle, bagel and cream cheese. The shuttle driver is extremely friendly and always on time. The rooms are up to date and renovated. They have a 24-hr store at the front desk full of the typical you would want such as starbucks coffee, pita chips, ramen, microwave popcorn, burritos, hot pockets, etc etc. The fitness room is really nice and open 24/7 and spacious as well. The price I paid was $65 which is such a great deal for this property. I was very surprised. The employees are extremely friendly. I really enjoyed my 3 day stay here. I really felt at home thanks to the employees. I would stay here again anytime if I'm in the area! read more

The staff here are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel offers a free (full, not just continental) breakfast along with 24/7 coffee and water available in the lobby. They also have a mostly complimentary shuttle. If you're cruising to Alaska, they offer transportation to and from the Port of Seattle for a better price than the cruise lines. The gym has one treadmill, one elliptical, and some free weights. That's all it has room for too. I don't believe it's what's pictured on the hotel website. The rooms were mediocre, and there was a mild musty/moldy smell in our room. I can compare it to the smell of keeping something wet enclosed and not allowing it to air out. I also found one short wiry hair on the bathroom floor next to the toilet, but my family and I were too exhausted from travel to complain. read more

I wish we could give zeros!!! Where do I even begin?! This hotel is a moderately priced motel 6 trying to act like it's Caesar's Palace! The rooms are small and the bathroom is even smaller, not to mention the storage space for your clothes is a joke. There are four floors in this hotel with probably 40-50 rooms on each floor, and they have only ONE washer and ONE dryer for the whole hotel. Housekeeping is careless and doesn't clean properly giving their guests BLOODY pillow cases nd dirty bathrooms. And don't even try to bring up your concerns to the front desk. Every one of them needs to go back to job training and learn more about customer service, because their customer service are very lacking and need a whole lot more work. Then they advertise this free shuttle that is supposed to be 24 hours which is all a lie. They have one driver for 2 hotels! They say the shuttle can take you anywhere within a mile of the hotel but when you ask for it they only want you to use it to go to the airport. If you want to go to the grocery store you have 4 hours on 2 days out of the week to be able to do that. So don't get hungry any other day! Then their "drivers" constantly call out. So it shouldn't be advertised if it's not a real possibility. read more

This place is a bit pricy, but after staying at a cheaper place the night we arrived in Seatac, we were ready to pay a little more to ensure a good night's sleep before leaving again. Free cookies at the check-in desk!! That was a nice (and yummy) surprise. :) Friendly staff. And they have a pool and hot tub that are open till 11pm. The rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast included, served 5-9am on weekdays. I'd stay here again and would recommend it as well if you're looking for a bit of convenience. read more

The good: The staff at the hotel was friendly and the room was clean, if sparse. The iffy: Not much here. No bar, no common room, no restaurant. There is a pool and a very small workout room. Food is a 5-10 minute walk. Nearest sports bar is a 15 minute walk. The (Really) bad: My flight got in at 10:30. I called and asked for an early check-in (check-in is at 3 PM). I was told.... "maybe". My friend staying at the Hilton called his hotel and they said "no problem". I could accept yes or no, but how can a hotel not know if rooms are ready or not? Or not even be bothered to check? But the bad part is still to come.... Because of the "maybe" I got some lunch and called again at 1 PM and asked for a shuttle. "On its way" they said. 40 minutes goes by. I call again. They say they driver is standing right there and they'll send him right away (again). At this point I should have got a taxi, but now it's just the point to see how long this is really going to take. 20 more minutes go by. The van finally shows up ( a little over an hour at this point) and the driver opens the door and just stares at me. Uncomfortable like. No "hello". No "help you with you bags?". Not anything. So grab my 3 bags and cram them on the shuttle. 5 minute ride to the hotel. The driver says nothing to me the entire way. And I'm guessing that you can figure what he said or did when we got to tho the hotel. Nothing. He just sat there and stared at me, almost daring me to say something. Of course I filed a complaint and they offered to discount my room, but my room is picked up by business expenses anyways, so not much they could do for me. Long story short. It's the Hilton or Embassy suites from now on. Every time. read more

Not a bad place to stay. Staff is extremely friendly. They have a Continental breakfast avail wi th your basic items. Site has an indoor pool with a hot tub. The cool thing is they have a 24 hour hotel shuttle. It took us directly to the train station link rail stop. Very easy access to downtown. Spent 3 nights here for a vacation to seattle. CONS: Got the double queen room for me...wife. ..and 16 year old son. Rooms are small compared to other Marriotts i have stayed at. Small bathroom as well. Breakfast gets crowded after 7am. The hotel meet our needs just fine. Comfortable bed to sleep in for a long day of walking around Seattle. read more

After being here for two nights I am very pleased with the knowledge and customer service of the staff. The rooms are great and spacious. I recommend reserving a room with the hot tube because it is well worth it. If you have a baby with you the Marriott can supply you with a play yard and some extra items to help keep your baby happy. Breakfast here is nothing small and the timing is perfect. If your looking for a Hotel in Seattle with value this place is it. You are not far from downtown, free parking, free shuttle, and near plenty of interesting restaurants. When come back to Seattle I'll be staying here again. read more

I stayed here for a night earlier this week, and the hotel was definitely a good buy. It was just a few miles (about 10 mins) drive from the airport, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean, modern and comfortable. Compared to the Courtyard Inn I've preciously stayed at in Bothell, the rooms were much smaller bit for a quick 1 or 2 night stay, my room was more than sufficient. Also, the free breakfast was fairly substantial and saved me time & money in the morning. They have free parking & wifi too. For $111/night, this hotel is a great value. read more

Fairfield inn was pretty decent and I would recommend to stay here. The hotel had a very small foyer which got quite busy. The rooms were pretty bland but they were maintained and clean. There were plenty of restaurants around the hotel and the 24 free shuttle service was really convenient. The staff at Fairfield is what made this hotel so great. The front desk service was top notch. I'd say that this was 5 star service in a 3 star hotel. read more

I stayed here the middle of August and I was very pleased. Karen at the front desk was just wonderful! I asked if I could check in early and she could not have been nicer about saying yes and finding me a room. She offered me the list of restaurants nearby before I could even ask about food. She is personable and really cares that guest are well taken care of. She truly made my stay there and I will return. She said they are going to upgrade the property this month (Sept 2016). While I was waiting for a cab she helped some foreign visitors get to their cruise line. The cruise line had left them behind. She is cheerful and efficient and obviously enjoys her job. Having spent a few years working for a company that never questioned hotel choices during business travel, I'm somewhat of a hotel snob. That being said I thought the Fairfield Inn was OK. The room was clean, and my ritual bedbug inspection (pull off the sheets, flip up the mattress, inspect behind/under the bed, along the baseboards, etc) revealed no bedbugs. Breakfast was free, but not very good; stick with the packaged yogurt and pastries, and hold off on coffee until you can locate a nearby Starbucks. Bottom line: If you just need an inexpensive place to sleep near SEATAC, the Fairfield Inn will do the trick. read more

It's ok and it gets the job done, but it's nothing special. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. However, if you end up with a northerly-facing room, you will definitely hear the noise from the airport. I stayed here a previous time in a southerly-facing room and the noise wasn't as bad. The service was good, and the staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. There are shuttles available 24/7 to take you anywhere within a 1 mile radius, as well as to SeaTac Int'l. If you need a shuttle to pick you up from the airport and take you to the hotel, I suggest you call the front desk at least 10 minutes in advance to give them time to send a shuttle. As far as the continental breakfast goes, the options were limited and the food was just average. read more

The beds are squishy, like at a cheaper hotel, and the connecting doors in the room caused a noisy neighbor's phone conversations to be heard loudly. And very inadequate parking. However, the essentials are all top-notch -- i.e. good water pressure, excellent AC, wifi, and decent continental breakfast. And, the room was kept extremely clean and neat by the housekeepers -- that alone is reason enough to stay here. read more

Research pays off. Needed a clean place to crash after a flight that was reasonably priced with free parking. Bingo. Even around 11pm we found a great parking spot. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the free breakfast was perfect. Spent around 100 for a king on a Friday through Orbitz. The bed was pretty comfortable linen was clean. Only complaint is that everything in the room shook when you walked across the floor.. Strange. Would certainly stay here again though. read more

Bathroom sink in front of the bed, dark, and just felt like an old hotel. I would not stay stay here when I return to the Seattle area. Nearly hidden gem. Tucked away in a spot near the Seatac airport this inn was a true find. Excellent rates and clean rooms which included coffee makers, microwaves, refrigerators, hair dryers and even an ironing board if one were so inclined to use such a thing while on vacation Complimentary breakfast included hot items as well as the usual fare of bagels, toast, cereal and fruits. Shuttles to airport, local restaurants and light rail. While the view outside isn't spectacular, the staff inside is what counts. Both the night and morning desk staff were pleasant and went above and beyond their duties. The gentleman who checked us in gave us a run down on local restaurants and detailed directions to the nearest stores. He also answered our questions on touring downtown Seattle, even suggesting how to use the light rail to avoid traffic and making the most of our time in town and yet still be able it make flight times. The morning staff even gave us written directions on finding a good place nearby where we could get a good picture of Mt. Rainer. The shuttle bus driver was even smiling! If we're in the area again. This hotel was just a regular Fairfield hotel. The stay was nice and the front desk was very friendly. The gym was quite small but typical of a hotel like this (one treadmill, one elliptical, weights). Breakfast was good and free! All in all, I would probably stay at a different hotel in a better area that offers more to do and see. read more

Close to the airport but pretty much a dive. The rooms at old but cleaner than expected. The windows are ridiculously thin. We heard airplanes all night long, people talking and by 7am, there was road construction noise (jackhammering, excavation w backup Alert beepers, etc.) that sounded like it was right outside. It was actually a block away but the thin windows just couldn't block the noise. Anyway, if they want to charge what they do then there should be some criteria to warrant the cost. I recommend not staying here if you want to get sleep. Two stars because it was not really that dirty and the guy at the front desk was nice. read more

I can't say enough Good/GREAT about this hotel and its staff. They have figured out To Perfection what hospitality means. The entire place is new and modern. The room is awesome and everyone I have spoken to on staff is so pleasant and helpful. It is also easily accessible to the SeaTac Airport and they have a free shuttle to and from and to area restaurants within 3 miles. If you stay here and want to visit downtown Seattle you can take the rail for $6 round trip and it takes you in the middle of Seattle and it's a short 2 block walk to get on. They also have a very nice breakfast that is included in your stay. They have my vote and I stay at a different hotel every day of the year. Great job management and staff. read more

Had a wedding in Des Moines and stayed at this hotel for the evening with many in the wedding party. The hotel staff was great and very helpful plus the room was very nice. Only downside was the bathroom was SUPER tiny, but that really wasn't that big of a deal! The continental breakfast in the morning was awesome too! Tons of eggs, sausage, waffles and yogurt to have! The hotel offers free airport shuttle. When I got to the airport and got my luggage, I called the hotel to have me picked up. I was given directions where to go for pick up service. When I got there, I was picked up in less than 5 minutes. The chauffeur was helpful and courteous. The reception was warm and the check-in clerk was very pleasant. The check-in process was fast and efficient. A few minutes later after settling in my room, the same check-in clerk gave me a courtesy call, checking if I was alright and offered further assistance. So far, my check-in experience is great. I have not tried their other services yet. The room price is affordable. The room is clean and does not reek of any foul odor. Sheets are fresh. But more importantly, the service at check-in was superb. The name of the associate who checked me in was Daga. She was also the same associate who checked my mom and sister in. She made a very good first impression of our stay. read more

What's to like? Just needed a place to stay the night since we had an early flight in the morning. The shuttle took over a half hour to pick up and stopped at another hotel first (next time, staying there). In the morning, the shuttle was supposed to pick up on the hour and half hour but was early so had to wait an extra half hour that I could have been sleeping. And the shuttle at 5am picks up when the continental b'fast starts. Very convenient for the hotel I guess but not for their guests. I mean all they have to do is have the shuttle run on the quarter hour so their guests can eat at 5am and catch the 5:15 shuttle - after all, this is an airport hotel and given the number of folks on the shuttle at that time of the morning, many missed their "free breakfast" like us. Or, would it kill them to offer b-fast fifteen minutes earlier or at least have toast or something for those leaving early? The room was old and musty and not worth the $150 it cost. The accommodations are so so, but I stayed here overnight with my husband and he left his nice watch behind by accident. A few days later we called after tracking down the last known location we saw the watch and talked to a manager. They talked to the maid and told us that they didn't find it we must have left it somewhere else. I didn't feel like they tried in anyway to track down who cleaned our room, who would have saw it nor did they contact us again with any updates. I felt like the management did a poor job ever making me want to return to this location. If you ever stay here watch your belongings and don't leave anything behind! read more
