We were very pleasantly surprised by this spot. Well, we've never had a bad experience at a Fairfield Inn,, we've never been wild by it. We were definitely impressed by this place. We came in fairly late, and checked in quickly and efficiently. The room was unexpectedly spacious, and we all slept very well on the mattresses. The breakfast in the morning was very good, with lots of different options that made sure everybody got something that they were interested in. The coffee was plentiful and no one left hungry. They had a convenient shuttle to the airport and pretty affordable parking that was something like $15 per day. The shuttle came about every 20 to 30 minutes, and it was only about a five minute ride to the airport. It let us sleep in a little longer than expected and when considering everything else, it was a bad bit of an experience as we could have desired on a night before flying out! read more

The hotel is overall decent, but a few things felt outdated -- especially the bathroom layout, with the sink right by the entrance door and the shower/toilet located separately on the opposite side. The staff were nice and helpful during my short stay. The air conditioning, however, was constantly running and I wasn't able to switch it off, which was a bit frustrating. The fitness room is small but decent and has everything you need for a quick workout. The location isn't the best. I personally wouldn't feel comfortable walking alone in the area at night, and there isn't much immediately around the hotel. That said, it is conveniently located about a five-minute walk from the Link light rail. The train takes you to the airport for about $3, and the same line gets you to downtown Seattle in roughly 40-45 minutes -- very practical if you don't want to drive. read more

We stayed here before and after a trip, primarily as a layover between flights for my 80+ year old mother. The Staff was very friendly & helpful, and was willing to accommodate my mother's needs. They have a shuttle to the airport every half hour, and have a number to call for airport pickup. Another nice feature was the shuttle dropped us off and picked us up from a nearby restaurant, since we didn't have a car. The hotel is what one would expect from a Fairfield, it was the staff that earned it the 5th star in this review. read more

Great hotel with friendly staff, basic yet tasty breakfast, comfortable beds, clean and sócios rooms, affordable rates, and a location that is easily accessible via their convenient shuttle to the airport and a short walk from the Angle Lake Light Rail. Only complaint is the door lock often took or more attempts to open even with the maid's key when it took me several tries which could have caused them to miss a day of cleaning. Also, pet excrements were left near the elevator downstairs so they can clean the whole property better. We would certainly stay here again and hope they make these improvements next time. read more

I though this airport centric hotel was going to be decent, but the room insulation is lack luster. I can hear the person in the room above me walking, and I know that person didn't to it intentionally, it just sounds like they were walking around normally. The walls are thin too, so I can hear everything. One would think a hotel near a airport would have better sound insulation. The room was also pretty musty, so yeah hard to sleep for several reasons. The one bright spot was that the hotel has free breakfast and parking. The breakfast is actually solid compared with other hotel breakfasts. This is one of those hotels that look great online but are actually shabby in reality. This property must have been an old motel (yes, not a hotel) converted to a hotel. While the building has been renovated, it is painfully evident that this is an old motel on the inside. This hotel is close to SeaTac Airport. It's only about 5 minutes by shuttle. However, there are virtually no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance. I ended up having food delivered, which cost me $25~$30 each time. I could have spent the same amount of money at a sit-down restaurant if there were one nearby. They sell (grossly overpriced) drinks and snacks in the lobby. I went downstairs only to find out that the cheapest bottle of water is $4.00. I don't think they charge you $4.00 for a bottle of water at the airport (I'm sure they charge at least $3.00). Anyway, I feel like I'm taken as a "hostage." I really cannot do much about this since I do not have a car here. I would not return here. I would pay more to stay at a nicer hotel closer to businesses, such as Crowne Plaza, which I have stayed at. Lesson I learn here at Fairfield Inn: you get what you pay for. read more

My room was clean, comfortable, and everything worked well. I liked that the sink was outside the bathroom - as someone who has shared hotel rooms with others, it's a nice convenience. I gave myself a week to write my review because I figured I should catch my breath first and then see how I felt... and it did cause me to be slightly more charitable. The reason I initially wanted to give it only 1 star was due to the elevators. The hotel comes with 2 elevators. Only 1 was in operation when we checked in. This resulting in long waits but was still usable. We brought half our bags up at first (we were only staying 1 night but had a LOT of luggage as I wanted to repack after our 10 day trip before we flew back home the next day). Unfortunately by the time we went to get the other half of our bags, the second elevator was broken. While my husband and I out of shape and traveling with young kids, at least we are able-bodied as the hotel seemed not to care in the slightest if you had any disabilities that would make it hard for you to go up and down the stairs. Granted, this next complaint I am making in hindsight, but I realized afterwards (once I looked it up) that I didn't get many of the perks that come with having a bonvoy platinum elite status. I am giving it one additional star however because breakfast was included and was pretty tasty. The room itself was also clean and spacious. I just cannot get over having to lug heavy suitcases (and sometimes a 4 year old) up the 2 flights of stairs. read more

We stayed here on our way back home and chose it due to proximity to the airport. Pros: free parking, free breakfast, free shuttle to the airport. Cons: the beds and pillows were not particularly comfortable. Our room was next to a highway so I heard cars drive by. You also hear planes even though the front desk person assured me that our room and the hotel were quiet. I disagree. Luckily, the planes stop at some point so it was possible to get some sleep. The hotel is showing its age. The water pressure in the shower is low. The water takes a long time to warm up. The hallways are very long and very narrow, which gives a weird impression. I usually try to choose a Marriott brand hotel but I probably would not stay here again and would choose something a bit farther from the airport and updated. read more

We stayed here the night before an early flight. I was a bit skeptical when making my reservation, but in the end, I was very nicely surprised.... in several ways. Checking was very efficiently handled by a friendly, helpful desk attendant. She provided useful, accurate about the shuttle service and other helpful info. This is not a luxury hotel, but the room was very clean and well kept. If you just need a decent place to sleep and shower, this is a good choice. A free breakfast is offered. It has a surprisingly large selection of choices. Fresh fruit, hot food, cereals, oat meal, milk, juices, etc. The shuttle to the airport began at 3:00am and runs every 30 minutes. This is the strangest Marriott owned hotel we've ever been to. Luckily it's one night. Check in ok but the room has no chairs. They said they haven't gotten any, huh? Shower door opens on its own and only one plastic cup, one paper coffee cup. Right Brain headed downstairs to get more, nope, housekeeping closed. Bed comfortable tho. Room clean. The hotel is clean, but bathrooms are micro- sized. I never seen a toilet and shower in such a small space. It was totally crowded or booked. The cruise ship passengers pack the hotel. Forget taking hotel shuttle unless you have an hour to wait. We waited and waited and waited some more. If you take it, there is no air conditioning, be prepared to suffer. Catch it at the first stop on level 3, not the last stop! People on the last stop couldn't get on shuttle, it was packed. Take an Uber, that's what we did from hotel to airport. Glad we did. Basically, the shuttle is not worth the hassle, as if you are first on after the long wait, your bags will be last off at hotel, and you get to wait and wait and wait to check in. Also, don't plan on walking to a restaurant. We did, and got followed by a couple questionable guys that pretended to be waiting for a bus. This hotel was outdated. Buttons were broken in the elevator and the walls needed painting. The shower is very skinny so if you are wider individual, you may be hitting the walls trying to shower which is disgusting. The room overall was clean and spacious. The breakfast changes everyday and it was okay. Nothing fancy. This hotel is close to the airport but far from Seattle. About a 30 minute drive. We chose this hotel because there was free parking but I wouldn't stay here again because of how far it is from Seattle. The front desk stay was helpful and professional. read more

I've stayed at several Fairfield's before but my 1st time at this location. They have free shuttle service from the airport - which is only 2 miles away. Parking and also includes breakfast. I like the modern décor in the rooms and its pretty clean. The lobby is simple but nicely decorated for the holidays. Beds are a bit hard, at least for me. Friendly staff and the breakfast choices are good as well. I was told that during renovation, the pool & jacuzzi was removed, sadly. Also that its not a brand amenity to serve complimentary cookies in the afternoon/evening. Note: being near to the airport, you can expect to hear planes above. read more

This hotel is off of International Blvd, a few miles from SeaTac Airport. It's one of the few airport hotels offering free parking which is a plus. The front desk staff is inexperienced, young, but friendly and helpful to an extent. The facility is much older, fitness center is decent, treadmills and TV monitors are working well, and there are dumbbells along with fresh water and clean towels (24 hours access). You can hear neighbors opening and closing their doors who are next door to you but the floor was quiet past 10 p.m. Breakfast was better than expected with real eggs and a variety of additional offerings. Overall, a decent stay if you want to be close to the airport or the 5 freeway. read more

I can sum up my stay with five words. "STOMP STOMP FLUSH SLAM STOMP." The floors/ceilings are incredibly thin. I noticed when I walked into my 3rd floor room how much my footsteps reverberated, so I deliberately walked on my tiptoes to avoid disturbing my downstairs neighbor. Unfortunately, my upstairs neighbor had no such qualms. For hours in the evening and again starting at 5:15 AM I could hear everything he was doing. Complained to the front desk twice and they said they "talked to him" but either they didn't or the guy didn't care. Needed a place to stay for a night and this more than did the trick. The check in was quick with Christina being one of the friendliest people I've ever met. She told me everything I needed to know without having to ask from the shuttle times to breakfast. The room was nice with a fridge and microwave and the bed was comfy and huge. The bathroom didn't have a rub which was fine with me. When I woke up I had my receipt emailed to me so that's less time I had to spend at check out. I loved how the breakfast was supposed to be buffet but the options given to go were plentiful and the lady giving them out was super nice and patient telling all of us the options even though they were posted for all of us to see. Such a great deal and place to stay. The shuttle runs every half hour and it takes people to the train station as well. I will definitely stay here again. read more

The room is nice and clean and the location to the airport is convenient. The parking lot is also large and accommodating. They wouldn't let us use the $10 voucher and it had to be the points which as a Titanium member was interesting but to be warned. Where do I start? Let's do positive it's a much shorter list. James while he was busier than busy he was amazing. He worked very hard to help resolve the issues we had. Now negative; I have to it all stems from one problem but there definitely was a trickle down effect. I made a reservation weeks ago because they have a electric wheelchair accessible shuttle. We also made sure the hotel knew we were coming and what time. When I called from the airport they didn't have it down what time we needed to be picked up and they had loaned the shuttle out to their sister hotel. After several calls and about 40 minutes the shuttle arrived just to be broken. Michael was great too. He finally took us over to the taxi's and said that they would pay for it. James was on it. So on to the next dilemma; their guarantee that they will take you to any restaurant within a mile. Well that's not going to happen. Thankfully, I'm in decent shape and hubby has an electric wheelchair, we walked. I definitely got my steps in. Then the biggest joke of them all, how do we get back to the airport in the morning. Well there solution was to reimburse us but they would only pay out cash and not give me credit on my room. So in reality they are trying to get out of paying because I will be at the airport when I get my receipt. So far, at 3:34 on our first and only day in Seattle they have paid for one taxi ride and given us a $50 credit towards our room because we were stuck. This is where they get the two stars. The -3 stars is for leaving us high and dry in the morning. Not cool. The accessible room is nice and big. The breakfast doesn't have a good variety. If you don't like chorizo or frittata then it's cereal and scones. They guarantee they will make it right and they have done so until they wouldn't make arrangements for us to get back to the airport. read more

Halfway through my last trip to Seattle, I booked a stay at the Faifield Inn Seattle Sea-Tac to be closer to Mt. Rainier National Park and the airport (mainly to avoid downtown traffic). Hotel is located about 10 minutes from SEA-TAC airport, and was easy to find. Hotel offers free parking and breakfast which is a plus! Was able to check-in early to the room and drop off our bags before heading out for the day. Room was clean and newly renovated. Fridge, microwave, iron, and hair dryer were available for use. There is also a washer and dryer on site free for guests to use (just need to bring your own detergent/fabric softener). Hotel was quiet. Was able to hear slight thumping from footsteps, but nothing crazy. Shout-out to Ethan and Krista for their excellent customer service. They were able to help us out with a Marriott gift card redemption and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable and comfortable. This location is by the airport. I think it's a little dated hotel but accommodations comfortable. We arrived after midnight for check-in and hotel staff was great! Smaller parking and it does fill up so overflows to other hotel parking which they say is fine. Continental breakfast less juice choices, basic eggs and sausages or Canadian bacon. They have the waffle set up and paper plates for easy clean up , fruit:, breads and milk (no chocolate) All in all the rooms were clean , we slept with the window open for fresh cold air (room musty smell) it was comfortable ! You will here airplanes go by no problem. Computers in lobby for your use and wifi. Snacks they have a small amount of items that they sell at the front desk. read more

Nice hotel that appears to have been recently renovated. Bathrooms were a little small & there weren't venting machines by the ice machines, which were my only complaints. Location is close to the airport, offering a free shuttle service. The shuttle starts at 3:30 AM and runs every half hour, which is really convenient. This hotel also offers free shuttle service to restaurants near by within 1 mile. We were given list of restaurants when we checked in which included ones included within the shuttle range as well as take out options and other dinning experiences a little further away. Here, Breakfast is complimentary & starts at 5 am, which is nice for those with early flights as most hotels start breakfast at 6. I thought the breakfast was really good. Eggs, cheese omelets, turkey sausage, bacon, fruit, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal etc. In my opinion, the staff at this hotel is the best part & deserves 10 stars. Everyone was so so nice, helpful & welcoming. The room was squeaky clean and the bed was comfortable. I've stayed here many times, bouncing between this hotel and the Holiday Inn Express next door. Almost always it is because I have a very early flight (4:00-5:00am) and home is quite aways. In any event I have never had their morning breakfast, until today ... thus the breakfast is the focus of this updated review. There appears to be a nice variety of breakfast items for most tastes...cold cereals, hot cereal, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, waffles, pastries, yogurt, mixed cut fruits...pretty nice selection. Unfortunately, the texture of the scrambled eggs is moist...some water in the warmer is good for helping keep the eggs from drying out...but not today, the eggs were so heavy and moist from the water that I couldnt eat them. There is a similar problem with the sausage...almost to the point that I wonder if these patties were microwaved in water. Odd texture, appearance, and the flavor was lacking. Thats enough for me to jump in the car and eat breakfast down the road...unfortunately I took the shuttle from the airport last night/early this morning. So, while my room has always been outstanding, and of course I will stay here again...if there is a choice, then I will skip the food and go elsewhere (eg. diner, airport, even McDonalds). read more

TERRIBLE! Booked thru Expedia for two queen bedroom. ( 2 people traveling not comfortable to share bed). When we arrived they tried to give us a room with 1 queen and a seriously uncomfortable pull-out couch ( super thin mattress, bar in back, sheets did not fit)..... asked for switch, given room with one king. Woman at counter very nice. However, there are many many other comparable hotels in the area, and if we knew that this one was not capable of giving us what we paid for... Two queens... This is a really nice inexpensive hotel. A four stars inexpensive hotel! Okay, so this isn't a Fairmont, but the rooms were spacious and there were plenty of space for a work table (not desk) and a King size bed. Also, each room came with it's own Wi-Fi and a 40' HD flat screen, a nice touch. Being right next door to a Sea-Tac runway, you would think that noise would be an issue, but it's not. Clearly, some thought went into the design of the building and windows -- so the noise is almost nonexistent. Another amenity was the shuttle bus service to Sea-Tac which is run by the hotel and is not part of a larger service. So a bus ride is available every twenty minutes. Again, nice! The thermostat was near the head of the bed and the click was loud enough to wake me several each night. -- The bathroom light and fan are both on a sensor so they turn on automatically when entering the space. No option for leaving them off (say in the middle of the night when I don't want the light and fan!) -- Very small room and no upgrade or requested suite (for Lifetime Titanium Elite?) -- PLEASE ask the cleaning staff to NOT yell up and down the hallways during the day. Guests who work nights may be trying to sleep and frequent staff yelling is really disruptive. -- So many indicator lights are disruptive! No one would ever stand foir this in their own home, yet guest are expected to pay for rooms which are not conducive to good sleep hygiene? Indicator light on the television, microwave, and smoke detector, very bright clock radio, drapes that do not fully close -- very poor sleeping environment. Property managers should stay overnight at their hotels and view the environment as a guest does -- then work to create an excellent environment for guests. read more

Pretty good hotel in Bellevue. It wasn't my first choice but it was a decent choice. Pro's: Room: HUGE. Clean bathroom. Comfy bed. Breakfast: it was pretty good. They served scrambled eggs, sausage patties, bacon, melon medley, fruit, usual breakfast breads, do it yourself waffles, oatmeal, cereal. The eggs were very bland but that is totally ok with me as I could control salt and pepper on my eggs. Location: Walking distance to strip mall with Bank of America, Rite Aid, etc. I think a lot of people will complain it might be too far but it's down the hill and over the freeway bridge to strip malls. Maybe it's because I'm comparing my stay here with my stays in LA, Las Vegas and NY. But this is the best little bed and breakfast inn I've ever been to. I literally swiped my hand on the windowsill and there was no disgusting feeling of grime and dust, it felt clean. Everything felt very clean from their drawers to the restroom. They were very accommodating giving me and my family of 12 free water bottles on multiple occasions. And the continental breakfast is delicious! One day they had spinach and mushroom egg bites and mini croissant sandwiches, so good! Will definitely always stay here when in Seattle. Oh and there's a 24/7 gym with free weights, a bench and some treadmills as well as a pool! Smart tv's in the rooms with netflix, amazon prime and I'm sure other apps but I just didn't look for them. read more

Do not go here until summer 2019 apparently. I arrived for a weeks stay to attend some training and it was awful. The front awning was crushed on the ground. I couldn't tell if they were open or not. There was meth head looking construction crews hanging out by the front door every morning waiting to rip out some type of old smelly carpet or furniture. The 1st floor hallway is sealed shut so the stairwell is out of service. The pool and fitness center were closed indefinitely and I was very uncomfortable all week. read more

Upon first glance, this hotel doesn't stand out. In due time, the stay would get better and better. I checked in early via the Marriott app and received a room on the 4th floor. With previous research, I knew that the shuttle would only pick up upon request. When I arrived at the courtesy shuttle spot, I called and they asked which one I was closest to. Literally 2 minutes later, a gentleman walked out calling "Fairfield Inn and suites." I missed the van because it actually says holiday inn and suites with a piece of paper taped on the window that says Fairfield Inn and suites. The driver was polite and nice and dropped off another couple for their flight and went straight to the hotel afterwards. It's extremely close to the airport and was a quick ride. Checking in was a breeze. The front desk was very nice. She explained that the shuttle runs 3am-noon every 30 minutes and breakfast starts at 5am for those with early flights! With my late arrival, she gave me a sheet with close restaurants and a number of them are accessible via their free shuttle. Bonus points! I ended ordering delivery instead because I wanted to do some work in the room. Upon entering my room, I wasn't extremely impressed. Everything was quite dated. Popcorn ceilings. But there was a nice sized larger-than-normal mini fridge. There aren't easily accessible outlets by the beds. The biggest pro is the flatscreen TV!!!! It was huge! I'm guessing 60-65"? It must be a somewhat current model with built in apps like Hulu, Netflix, YouTube and a few others. Of course you need to login to access your own content, but watching Netflix on the big screen beats my iPad! This alone made the stay worthwhile after I've had a plethora of outdated TV's in my hotel rooms. In the end, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again especially if I need a quick layover (like this trip). read more
