Parking is the garage behind the hotel which is shared with the local police department with lots of police vehicles so it's pretty safe. The staff was very friendly on my visit. The room was clean and my search for bed bugs turned up none, the first thing I check before opening my bags. My king room was very comfortable with no neighbor sounds. I used to get bottled water at Check-in as well as a simple breakfast buffet each morning. Though there is reference to a Food & Beverage credit, it is for Gold & Diamond members only. We arrived in the middle of the morning to find out that she didn't put the notes about our late arrival in the system so they canceled the reservation without even contacting us..... I asked for a side of biscuits and gravy and it was so hard with burnt gravy. When I told the server she mentioned that she knew it was like that and took it off our bill. They want $17.00 for the breakfast buffet and $7.00 for latte...I have never been to a hotel that doesn't have free juice and coffee with breakfast! Don't bother with the bland over priced dinners! The rooms do not have microwaves either. The quality for price just isn't there ! Especially for a Hilton hotel at $200.00 a night as Diamond members! That doesn't include the $15.00 extra a night for the parking. The rooms are dimly lit unless it's a sunny day and you completely open the window blinds. The double queen rooms have a weird layout and uncomfortable beds. The only good thing was our rooms were clean. If you are going to spend this much on a hotel then go somewhere that you can at least get a comfortable night of sleep. Last but not least, We kept getting stuck in the elevator! The doors close and you have to hit for floor number over and over to try and get it to actually go to the floor! That doesn't seem safe at all and they need to have that fixed before someone gets hurt! We had reserved a handicap suite but when we got here they didn't have one. After a long wait, they finally found this one with a tub. Soap pumps were mounted on the wall... higher than I could reach while standing on tip toe.. no way could anyone in a wheelchair reach them. This was a two room suite so bathroom had two doors...one of which had this strange recessed "opener/ closer mechanism" that a disabled person wouldn't be able to use or figure out. There were about 40? rooms on a floor... with the elevator at one end and the stairs at the other end. Took forever took walk the long hall to get to our room #x25. And remember... I am disabled.. shouldn't disabled rooms be near the elevator. And speaking of the hallway... there were lots of the glued rug tiles that were unglued on the edges and corners. Very much a tripping hazard! The floors were terribly slippery where they'd gotten wet from either the pool customers or having been cleaned. I actually slipped a couple of times... they need to either monitor these areas and dry them frequently, or at least designate a non pool elevator and not leave freshly cleaned areas so wet. Also disturbing that no maintenance person available 24 hours. Not everyone has a cell phone, and what if some other serious problem happens in a room. Lamp shade was missing on lamp in sitting room. So all in all, I'd never return to this hotel. And will look very askance at any other of this brand. No lid on the toilet... wide open... so the flush sprayed contents throughout the room.

The check in process was more difficult than expected, considering the room was booked online and already paid for. Of course, they wanted a credit card for "incidentals" as though there were a mini-bar or in case I decided to make any long distance calls on their phone rather than use my cell phone. Regardless, it's policy, so I get it. You never know who is going to try to walk off with the worn bedding. Ok, so where do we begin? The second floor hallway is NOT climate controlled, so it was hot and muggy, and smelled like wet dog mixed with last week's stale weed smoke. It's also dark and aged, with flaking paint and plaster. I can't even venture a guess the last time the carpet was cleaned or shampooed. While preparing to settle in, I took my shoes off and walked around in socks, which ended up getting dirty from whatever had built up on the carpet in my room. The bathroom is dimly lit, I'm guessing the vanity sports a single 25-watt bulb to shave by, and that's the ONLY light in the bathroom. Shower temperature was good, but the pressure was dismal. My hair is only 2" long, and the pressure had a hard time washing the shampoo out of it. Towels were old, stained and ratty. The only "large" one covers either part of my front or part of my back. It's not big enough to get both at the same time. One washcloth had black stains on it and the other one was see-through thin. The toilet wobbled and lurched much like a mechanical bull when used. If I had a tool kit, I would have tightened the bolts and put a bead of caulk around the base to stiffen the ride, but I don't have them with me. Sorry. When I showered, I closed the bathroom door to prevent the possibility of steam setting off the smoke alarm (conveniently placed right outside the bathroom door for some reason) and found a soiled pair of women's panties hanging from the doorknob. (after the shower, I subsequently pinched a corner to lift them and brought them to the front desk. The clerk merely grinned and took possession of them. I hope they fit him). There IS a mini-fridge with freezer. I did them a favor by unplugging it so I could defrost the 2" layer of ice in it, while affording myself some quiet to sleep. The air conditioner is an old window unit that provides plenty of white noise to mask the ruckus outside the hotel, especially after the other tenants have had a few beers, but still isn't enough to mask the slamming doors and arguing from the hallway that continues well into the night. Breakfast is a choice between a bagel, cold cereal, a mini-muffin or a container of Activa yogurt. Thankfully, there's a McDonald's up the road. Just keep repeating "You get what you pay for" or spend a few extra bucks for a better quality chain hotel.

Went back down for replacement and went back to room. Still didn't work. Had to wait in line each time Shower door could barely be opened from either side with two hands. Very tough to move it even by an able bodied person. Shower floor extremely slippery. Sheets and pillowcases have MANY worn out rough patches in lines like they've gotten caught in washer or dryer? All pilled up and rough like overworn flannel? Can hear and feel every step vibrate above; footsteps sound like thunder and small children sound like elephants running. Stains on pull down shade. No complimentary breakfast. Really disappointing. As a 26 year Marriott rewards member, this was really a downer. It was much better four years ago.

It was supposed to be open. I haven't seen it open once in my entire stay. It took me 30 minutes to get an energy drink added to my room because she didn't know how. The pillows had maybe five feathers in them total there was no way to change the temperature of the room. It was freezing. No extra blankets. No one answered the phone when I called to the front desk. The water in the shower was literally coming out red.... Which is terrifying. When I checked in, I asked for a late checkout because my flight was not until later in the day they said OK no problem. When the lady called me to tell me I needed to get out of my room. I told her I had a late checkout. She gave me attitude and I still had cleaned banging on my door every 30 minutes. As I was checking out, I asked for a drink to be on my room and I told the lady my room number she goes aren't you supposed to be checked out right now you said you'd be done at 1:30 it's 2. I looked down at my phone and I said it's 120 and my luggage is in my hand. I am leaving. Highly recommend to look for another hotel vs staying here.

The room was clean and tidy, including the fridge/freezer. The pillows were your typical hotel pillows--nothing fancy, but they did their job. The sheets were soft, which is always a big plus for me. The water was HOT and the pressure was okay. Nothing to write home about, but it got the job done! There was a piece of paper towel stuffed into the peephole that looked like it had probably been there for a while. But honestly, it didn't bother me. If anything, I appreciated the effort because I don't want anybody trying to peek in either! LOL. The AC worked GREAT, which is probably one of the most important things when you're trying to sleep comfortably. Overall, it was a clean, comfortable place to stay for the night, and we had no major complaints. Sometimes you don't need fancy--you just need clean, hot water, a working AC, and a bed you can crash into after a long day.

They refused to accept simple math, after 5 minutes of back and forth they finally came to terms with he is in fact, 21. So that was the first RED FLAG. The lady in the front said to him "all of you guests think you know something, but you all know nothing." The rooms itself smelled, were dirty, and found bed bugs in one of the beds. GROSS!!! Finally.. the check out. We get back to the hotel late last night and the person at the front desk said we would be allowed to check out at 12PM instead of 11 for free, no extra charge, great. Well it comes to 11am, and they're knocking on our doors asking us to leave. We simply said the person last night approved a late check out at no extra charge. The lady then said "no the person last night is new. He doesn't know what he's talking about" WHAT?!? So that's OUR problem? We told them we'll be checking out at 12PM, and they said OK it's a $15 charge then. THATS INSANE! I go out to leave the room around 11:45 and the lady is outside and rudely says "Go. Leave. Get out of here." Excuse me?!? That's how you treat your guests?! My friend comes out and all hell essentially breaks loose, and another manager (guy) comes upstairs and starts cursing us out. Telling us they're going to charge us $20 extra now! BECAUSE of THEIR employee TELLING US it's FREE to check out at 12PM. I stay in 100 hotels a year and have never experienced anything like that. It escalates to the guy saying he's calling the police on us, to at which point I said to my friend this isn't worth it, let's go. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN. Absolute horrible human beings, and horrible hotel. I wouldn't want my worst enemies to have to ever spend a single minute here. STAY AWAY!!
