Set back off the main highway, location is very quiet. We arrived around 1:45pm and was pleasantly surprised to find that our room was ready. Room was cute, clean and quiet which is exactly what we needed after being on the road and moving our son into his new home - we were exhausted and just wanted to chill. Room smelled musty and felt moist. Woke up the next day feeling congested. The shower had black long and pubic hair when we arrived. The room was worn and smelt terrible. There was a towel propping up wires behind the tv and the room and bath were generally well used. I do about 75-100 Bonvoy nights a year and this was the worst room and property I have seen. Firstly, the service at this hotel is subpar. I meant to book/check into 2 rooms here for one night, and somehow the hotel said I booked and checked into 4 rooms. They charged me for those 4 extra rooms and were extremely difficult to reach and resolve those excess charges. So beware of their subpar customer service! About the rooms: they were alright, pretty standard Fairfield rooms. The surrounding area was pretty rural and wish they had an outdoor space. read more

Loved our recent stay here. Was impressed by the cleanliness and the size of the hotel room. Bathrooms are large with lots of counter space. Also, there is a small swimming pool and gym with Nordic track and treadmill. We also enjoyed the breakfast. Thumbs up overall. read more

Arrived after 8pm and made myself right at home at this very decent property. Room and amenities, except wifi, were as expected. For whatever reason, I could not access wifi and my cell phone reception wasn't great, either. As far as wifi is concerned, this has been an issue at multiple properties among fellow travelers in my industry. May be a Marriott issue. Breakfast was good and abundant with proteins. I'm Marriott platinum. Trust me... I've seen too many hotels in my life. This hotel offered the best of what I would hope for outside of a major metropolitan Area. Worst experience of my 20 yr Marriott history. Truck show weekend hotel was out of Control, in their Defense they received no help from state police. For three nights kids did burnouts until 3 am with loud window shaking exhaust. The front desk was asking guest to call police hoping the more people that called they would assist. Here's where the 1 star comes from after all this. The management was off that entire weekend, they knew. And once they responded to names and numbers left at front desk they only offered 10k points compensation. A total joke for 3 nights with zero sleep. The staff even mentioned that their management wasn't returning calls during this three day period, so they didn't know what to do. Our vehicle was damaged, Carlisle Marriott teams response...there's a sign somewhere out there that says "We're not responsible for damage. Never saw it. Hotel should make it right and refund $ or offer more points. read more

I don't frequently stay at the Fairfield Inn, despite being a Marriott points holder. I was unsure if this brand would measure up to the Courtyard. I can say that this particular location certainly did. The hotel is modern, clean and bright and the staff was friendly and accomodating. I fell in love with the complimentary coffee bar. It was nothing fancy but they kept a fresh pot on at all times and had a nice assortment of flavored creamers to choose from - ah, the simple things! As for the room, it was a decent size. I found the bathroom to be quite spacious and well-lit. You can't go wrong for the price. read more

I was a bit worried staying in Carlisle as I have passed through this town many times and the hotels in this area are hardly upscale. I kept my fingers crossed as I chose the Fairfield as I mostly stay at Courtyards or Hilton Garden inns. I was very pleased with my stay. The hotel is clean, modern & only 3 1/2 yrs old. The rooms have flat screen TV's and a tiny coffee pot. NO refrigator or microwaves. There are NO pictures on the walls and the bedding is NOT plush. But it is comfortable and kept well. It is probably one of the better places to stay in Carlisle. read more

I do not recommend staying anywhere else in Carlisle except here at Fairfield Inn and Suites. I was upgraded to a suite during my stay. The suite was spacious and clean. There was an old iHome station for the iPhone 4 that can't be used as most people have newer devices. The breakfast was hot and good. I don't have any complaints about my stay. We stayed at the Fairfield Inn, Carlisle, PA from Thursday June 10 through Tuesday June 15th checked out extremely early to travel 16 hours back home. Once we arrived home had discovered we left clothing in one of the draws in the room. We immediately phoned the hotel to let them know and advised a family member would stop by for the items. The front desk advised they had to check with the cleaning staff to see if anything was found in the room from when we checked out. We did receive a call back advised there were only a few of the items that we had left behind. Of course the most expensive items an UnderArmor shirt and Reebok running pants were not located. Truly amazing that once the room is cleaned that the front desk was not notified to contact the guest regarding the items left behind. So if by chance you do leave items behind, they won't contact you and they will keep the expensive items. read more

We stayed here because it was within walking distance of the service garage where our broken down truck was towed to. I was relieved to find that they accept pets as the dog was with us. We got a decent rate for literally walking in. The room was updated, comfortable and clean. They do require a pet deposit up front which is refundable after you checkout and the room is inspected. read more

We've stayed at dozens of Fairfield Inns over the years and the vast majority are excellent. THIS Fairfield Inn, however, excels over ALL of them! This looks like a relatively new hotel but, even so, I can tell it is well cared for and the staff is well trained. The carpets are spotless, the bathroom is squeaky clean and the staff is friendly. Even the free breakfast was a notch above the others. I will definitely stay here again anytime I'm in the area. Well done! read more

Had a reservation for a king suite and asked for high floor if available. Got here and 1st floor standard room. Desk help said nothing they could do because it was through Expedia the room couldn't be changed even though the confirmation number through fairfield was for a king suite and they might bill me twice for incidentals. I explained I wouldn't have any incidentals but help still said the best she could do was tell the manager in the morning. She couldn't move me but yet the king suites are still available on the website. Stay elsewhere where you are taken care of a little bit. read more

Once of the best FF Inns I've stayed in. Mattress was good quality, had an excellent night's sleep. Extremely convenient to Interstate. Amenities nearby.
