Turns out that I don't usually buy just a bottle or a four pack of IMT cans at a time. And if I'm buying multiple things, I can't carry it all home by myself. So that leaves me at the mercy of delivery alcohol or someone driving me to wherever they want to go. That being said, I have been making it a priority to stay close to home for shopping and to get smaller portions at a time. So the trips to Mayflower have been more frequent. Long exposition right? It's a nice liquor store that carries beer, wine and booze. Lots of canned wine options, which works well for warm weather parties or park excursions. They even have Laws Whiskey small packs for gifts if that's how you roll. Prices are reasonable and the store is kept very clean. As I said before, I'm starting to make this a regular part of my shopping rotation.

When he returned, the owner of Oneida Liquors was sitting ON THE HOOD of our car, calling a tow truck. I was a scary experience as he was slurring, spitting and was almost in the window of our car yelling at us for something that was untrue.

MUST VISIT SPIRIT DESTINATION IN DENVER!!!!!…read more I don't leave many Yelp reviews, if any, but felt compelled to do one after my visit here. This is, hands down, one of the better stores I have ever been in from a spirit point of view. Whiskey is my jam, but the allocations that were out across the board were stunning tbh. I was in town for a wedding and randomly decided to drop in. Every employee was wonderful - experienced and friendly. I had a great whiskey convo with a gentleman with an epic mustache and each employee was just as friendly and knowledgable as the last. Having been collecting for years now, I try to gravitate towards single barrel selections - a great way to get a twist on a known taste/profile. I was guided towards pick, after pick, after pick. I ended up walking away with 4 store picks - and they are all delicious (2 of which are arguably the best of that brand I've ever had). Sufficient to say I will be back, I will most likely prioritize a stop next time I'm in Denver (I'm based in Chicago). I cannot recommend this place enough in terms of product and overall experience in the store. I've had my fair share of barrel picks and given the quality and consistency of the ones I've had from there, I can tell their pick team/process is absolutely top tier. MUST STOP destination in Denver!!!!
