After a lot of research, I picked Nancy's Custom Upholstery & Slipcovers in Virginia Beach, to cut…read moreand convert a hospital bed mattress into an upholstered daybed cushion. I live in Hampton. I recently had an ottoman re-upholstered at a local shop. They charged me a lot of money for inferior work, and I did not want to repeat the experience. I could not have been happier with Nancy's. I sent Nancy photos of the mattress and a photo of the daybed I liked. She and her daughter asked a lot of good questions and made excellent recommendations over the phone. They thoughtfully pre-washed my fabric, cut the mattress to size, wrapped it in Dacron, used their own fabric to extend the cushion cover, added a zipper, then went above-and-beyond by completing the work under a tight deadline, and picking the mattress up and dropping it off, all without additional charges. I highly recommend Nancy's if you are looking for exceptionally beautiful, quality work at a fair price, and excellent customer service.

My husband and I were very pleased and happy with the work that Bonnie had done on with replacing…read morehis car liner for his 2007 Honda Accord. She had expertly matched the color of the interior with the cloth she had and the price she quoted was so much better than what the dealership was going to charge my husband. I dropped the car off on a Saturday and then I had to call her on Monday to let her know that my husband was coming back earlier from a business trip than what was planned and of course this was the same week that Hurricane Florence was due to hit in our area of Southside VA. She said it was no problem that the car was already completed and that impressed me a great deal. The car looks great and my husband could not be happier. I would recommend any one who needs their car liner to be replaced to give Bonnie a call to see what she can do for them. If I need help in the future with any of my other cars, she will be the first one I call.

Alll of our emails and phone calls were answered promptly and courteously. The fee for pick up and drop was nominal and helped out a lot. The textile selection was endless. And with so much to choose from, and honest opinion on longevity of the product was helpful. Delivery and drop teams were polite and very conscious of the furniture they were moving as well as the home in which they were moving the furniture into. I loved this couch when I bought it in 1997. But all the moves and climates took a toll on its insides but not its bones. I only had purched enough fabric for the seat cushion, back Euro pillows will be the final addition to this grand lady. Thank you again, everyone at Young's Upholstery!
