The location is in the heart of El Camino and establishment is well kept. I believe it's called national petroleum I went to redeem a $20 lotto ticket I asked for a five dollar ticket and my $15 and he refused to give me my money. He said I had to buy more lottery tickets. I told him the California lottery does not have that rule whose rule is that he said, I can't take any cash out. You should've told me when you came in you wanted cash what? i've never heard anybody when they go redeem a lottery ticket walk in and say I want cash just like that. I asked him his name. I asked for the manager he said he was a manager, which I don't believe because he hardly spoke English, but he knew what I was talking about. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Not only are they rude, they are a complete rip off!! The mechanic tried to charge me $5 to check and place air in the tires of my car, because their machine was broke outside after I already had put $30 worth of gas in. On a 2nd visit, the mechanic then tried to charge $10 just to check the oil for me and when he had seen it was low, he wanted to charge another $10 to put my own oil in that I had brought with me, who does that?? At that moment, I told him no thank you, i'll do it myself and his reply was, well what do you expect we're in America!! Seriously?!? Just about your average gas station. They have no customer restroom, the inside is fairly small which is fine as there is a 7-11 next door, and they are not open 24hrs. One of the good things to note is that they staff are very helpful. I had pick up a bike link in my car tire and was running late to my sons football practice when I pulled in here with hopes of just putting enough air to get him to where he needed to be. Well the tire wouldn't hold air. I asked them if they had a tire in my size which they didn't not but instead of ending the interaction there they I.formed me they could patch the tire. Never seen this done before I was shocked it could be done. They pulled the link, filed the hole, took some needle looking thing and stuck a hard ass piece of tar or something through the hole, pumped the tire up and 10 mins later I was on my way. Quality work? Great prices? Willing to study stay hours to work on my car? This gas station and body shop is some of the best I have been too. It might not be a mainstream body shop but they do the work just like it! Vu, the head technician there is super nice and knows how dealerships try to overcharge you. He charges what he knows is fair for the parts and labor. Honda wanted $1,000 for my tune up and other small maintenance functions. Vu, charged me only $500. Dude is great. Never been disappointed with the work they do. If you ever need anything done your car, come see Vu. The man, the myth, the legend! read more

Oh no. A real incompetent place. I got oil change and noticed couple of days that there was an oil spot on the driveway. A co-worker was able to help me and figure out that the drain bolt was not fully tightened. This would have been super serious. I went back and tried to tell the mechanic and he got all rude and said that this can't happen and that I went somewhere else. He gave me no paperwork so I had no proof. I would never ever go there and suggest you do the same. read more

The Asian mechanic is a RIP-OFF. Took my car for a smog, all machines said the car passed, but he was going to fail it because he wanted me to buy a $15. gas cap. WHAT? I told him I'll go buy a $3. cap. OH NO! He failed the smog, I returned, he said he's going TO CHARGE ME AGAIN FOR THE SMOG. What a jerk. He looked at the cap, did his test and again, the car passed. What could I do, I paid for another smog all within 30 minutes!!!. I put the old cap back on as it came with the car. Don't go to this guy, all he wants is your money and is very demeaning to females. read more

Great customer service by the mechanic. I needed a smog check and oil change, took care of me right away.

Lazy mechanics, took our car in bc we noticed a nail in the tire and my cousin was in a rush to drive back to LA. They took us right in and started to jack up the car. He then took the wheel of the car and we helped him find the nail. He then told us it didn't go all the way through and didn't puncture the tire so it's ok to drive on. He then told us hell charge us $10 or it is free if we put the tire on the car! I couldn't believe he allowed a customer to enter his shop environment and use his tools to do his job, what if we got hurt?! He and another older man were just watching us put the tire back on. Luckily I work on cars for a living at a well known shop with proper tools and could handle a tire. I was struggling to align the wheel and I noticed the car dropped an inch since being jacked up and realized the jack is leaking and they didn't even support it with a jack stand! I raised the car up and the mechanic noticed and said "not too much!" because he knew it was failing. Put the wheel on and they didn't aknowledge us anymore to even offer to torque the lug nuts so I torqued them when I got home. Stay away from these lazy mechanics if you care about the safety of yourself, your loved ones, and your vehicle. read more

My wife had her TDI smogged here. Attendent was sexist and didn't know what he was talking about. A smog on a Diesel only includes a check to see that the EGR and CAT are intact and then a computer scan for engine fault codes. Should take way less time than a gas car. Attendent idled car forever and reved the engine needlessly wasting fuel. Attendent still charged full price for less work. If you have a Diesel that has had the EGR and CAT removed take it here because this guy has no clue what he is doing. read more
