We found this place on the way from the Montreux train station to our hotel. There was a hand written chalkboard outside the door in Chinese with the "Specials" that caught my eye. One of the specials is something I have been sorely missing....Peking noodles with meat sauce, a comfort food that I grew up with. My yearning for my mom's home cooking led me to overlook all the red flags including but not limited to the name of the restaurant, a big sign in Chinese that says "China Fuji Restaurant". After checking into the hotel and a quick search on Yelp yielded no other Chinese restaurants in the nearby vicinity, I went against my better judgement (and my husband's protest) and hoofed back to this abomination of a restaurant. First off, the Mandarin speaking Chinese host/waiter/possibly owner of the restaurant tossed the menus in front of us instead of handing them to us, which was a bit annoying to start off with. The price was not expensive for Swiss standards, around 50.- for all three entrees. Nonetheless really not worth it!
