We ordered the bbq menu, which did include three very sad, small servings of banchan. One was supposed to be kimchi, but it was sweet and not good at all. The menu came with an assortment of meat, seafood, and veggies, but it was kind of an odd mix, including filets de perche?!? The beef and chicken were pretty decent, though without any discernible marinade that would make them Korean tasting. At least the quality was fine.
An odd thing here I've never seen, is there was like a parchment paper covering the grill, so the meat wouldn't stick. The paper negated the release of oils and left the meat tasting dry. This also did not work well at all for the seafood, as for example the squid would stick to the paper.
This is also the only "Korean" restaurant I've been to that doesn't serve rice in metal bowls. I don't think their rice was very warm to begin with, and about five minutes after arriving, was almost cold.
It's not exactly an attractive space you're sitting in, and service is lukewarm at best. Guess if you've never had real Korean food, this might seem ok. Hey, at least they're open on Sundays.
