Fire beware because factors customer service does not give a darn about problems from their customers. I had sold a hand and Man to a temporary home in another state. I had received factor meals at both homes. When I go to my permanent third time I double checked I put my new address and look forward to the meals arrival.. they ended up being delivered to the original house in the new owners. When I contacted factor, they offered no remedy, they did not care and essentially said it was all my mistake and not even an apology. We made sure when we ordered that this was one order, NOT A SUBSCRIPTION, but one week later they are shipping another 14 meals and charging the credit card. I had a very disappointing experience with Factor 75, and I strongly recommend avoiding this company. I placed an order for meal delivery that was packed on September 20th but delivered only on September 25th. During that time, I received several notifications claiming the food had been delivered -- yet nothing actually arrived. When the package finally showed up five days later, it was partially opened, and the inside was covered in a strange leaking gel from the ice packs. The containers inside were swollen and clearly spoiled, making the food completely unsafe to eat. I contacted customer service immediately to file a complaint. They had charged me around $125, and after acknowledging the issue, they promised a refund. However, they only refunded $95, claiming part of my order included a "premium product" that they refused to reimburse -- even though it was also spoiled. While I was still dealing with that issue, they charged me another $150 for a new order I did not want. When that shipment arrived (this time on time), I opened it and found two meals with swollen containers, showing the same signs of spoilage as before. When I reported this again, customer service said they would only compensate for those two meals. I asked how they could guarantee that the rest of the meals were safe if two were already spoiled, but they had no answer and refused to investigate or retrieve the product. As of today, I still haven't received a full refund. This company shows poor quality control, weak customer service, and serious food safety risks. I would strongly advise others to stay away from Factor 75 -- it's not worth risking your health or money. That sadly came and went with an email saying it was delayed with very little explanation. The delivery was to be made the next day so I waited and checked my tracking and it now states it's missing Ann my csr at Factor made a bunch of excuses as to why I'm not getting the meal plan I paid for and how they use 3rd party couriers to delivery and that they aren't responsible for them and that they can only say sorry and will refund my money in 5-10 business days . Factor is responsible as they contracted with that 3rd party service who picked up the order but now it's missing which is suspect because I can see the tracking and it very much looks like the delivery driver is a thief . Ingredient list is much too long and contains saturated fat. Chicken is tough and stringy and meals in general are salty. Since I'm going to be eating meals from plastic containers I need to know the plastic is BPA and PFAS free. FACTOR promised me it is, however, if that were true there would be icons stamped on the plastic attesting to this. THERE ARE NOT. Factor refused to clarify this discrepance so I QUIT the service and asked for refund of my initial order. They refused. I asked my credit card to reverse the payment. It seems Factor is lying about the toxicity of their containers. Sorry just not worth what you are paying for. There are many other prepared meal services . We found the flavor lacking in most of the meals we tried - they are all just kind of meh. We signed up my 90 year old father in law so he wouldn't have to prepare meals - his feedback to us was it's disgusting. Very curious because all the marketing makes it look amazing, I wanted to try it for ourselves Most of the items are not that nutritious. I picked our meals based on the titles and did not dive deep - that's my bad. My chimichurri roast with mashed cauliflower - the cauliflower was so heavily dosed it cheese I had no clue it was cauliflower . This meal also was over my saturated fat intake for the day and the chimichuri was bland. A pint of Ben and Jerry's would have been more satisfying The portions are decent on most meals - the scampi meal was much smaller. I would also like more veggies. Also they use some low quality ingredients - olive pomace oil for one and my pork bowl used tofu as a filler and I normally try to avoid soy- ok I should have read the listings better but with all the hype I expected better I cannot recommend this unless you find a free box coupon - maybe I just chose the wrong meals. I Had 3 boxes not get delivered in the span of 3 months. That's 3 weeks that I had to wait 2 hours on the phone with factor getting the credit back to my account. There is no option to get any amount of meals the week that they messed up your delivery, you'll just have to figure something else out (defeats the purpose). -The plastic film on the meals and the sauces (especially the sauces) does not work if the meal is cool it must be microwaved first so that the adhesive heats enough to get it cleanly open. Most meals with sauce require you to peel the film off the meal then off of the sauce container before microwaving. To Factor's credit, some refunds and credits were issued for missed or inaccessible deliveries. However, refunds do not solve the underlying problem. Factor75 has a greater responsibility to ensure that meals are actually delivered in a way their customers can access, especially when those customers are disabled and rely on this service. At Factor's suggestion, I even changed the delivery day in order to get a different delivery driver. This did not resolve the issue. Clear, detailed delivery instructions were provided and acknowledged. Photos of a successful delivery outside my mother's apartment door were also provided to both Factor and the delivery company. I was explicitly told that these photos were to ensure deliveries were never left anywhere else but the location shown. Despite this, the same delivery failures continued. As a result, this disabled person missed out on many of her meals. Food that cannot be accessed is not a convenience. It is wasted food, wasted money, and unnecessary hardship placed on someone who already has physical limitations. Factor75's responsibility does not end when a box leaves the warehouse. Continuing to rely on a delivery process that repeatedly fails disabled customers, even after refunds, credits, delivery-day changes, and visual proof of proper delivery placement, shows a lack of accountability. If you are considering Factor75 for yourself or for a disabled family member, understand this clearly: the food may be fine, but the delivery reliability is not. So I had been getting factor meals for almost 5 years now. I used to love them and would recommend them to all my family and friends. I even had gotten 3 of my family members to sign up! But recently they have gone down hill and there has been issues which ultimately lead me to cancel my subscription. Firstly the price kept going up but the quality just wasn't there anymore. Then they state their cut off for making adjustments or skipping meals is 11:59pm on the night before your order will be placed but if your in a different time zone it's actually at 9pm which isn't stated anywhere. So for awhile I kept making adjustments or trying to skip that week and it would say it went through yet I would be charged on my bank account! Finally one of the agents told me about the time difference! So then I would set my alarm to make sure to make changes before the cut off time. Now here comes the last straw! I just can't afford the meals right now so I went to skip my order way before the cut off time and it went through then I check my bank account the next day and they charged me! So I went on the app and that week they charged me was no where to be found on the app so I thought that was odd. So I wrote the company and they said I didn't do it before the cut off time which I specifically remember I did because I had set an alarm to do it and also I had skipped the next week which that was showing. So I asked if I could cancel the order since it was only the next day and they said they couldn't. Even though i literally can't afford the meals and they said it had showed that I had attempted to cancel the order well before 11:59. So I told them that I would be canceling my subscription and I would be calling my bank to reverse the charge because I did not authorize the transaction and they still wouldn't budge!
