You have to try this food service factor.com! It is the most wonderful food you will ever taste. Not only is it easy to prepare, 2-3 minutes in the microwave, but the entire meal is so satisfying you will feel full and stay full until it's time to eat again. The worst customer service I canceled my order and they refused to give me a refund when I explained that I canceled the order because I in fact, I'm allergic to a lot of the ingredients I told them I would ship the food back and they didn't have to refund me until they verified they received the order back. A young man assured me he took care of my credit, but did nothing as my bank statement showed the next day. He didn't seem to have a grasp of the English language or know what he was doing. Sorry just not worth what you are paying for. There are many other prepared meal services . We found the flavor lacking in most of the meals we tried - they are all just kind of meh. We signed up my 90 year old father in law so he wouldn't have to prepare meals - his feedback to us was it's disgusting. Very curious because all the marketing makes it look amazing, I wanted to try it for ourselves Most of the items are not that nutritious. I picked our meals based on the titles and did not dive deep - that's my bad. My chimichurri roast with mashed cauliflower - the cauliflower was so heavily dosed it cheese I had no clue it was cauliflower . This meal also was over my saturated fat intake for the day and the chimichuri was bland. A pint of Ben and Jerry's would have been more satisfying The portions are decent on most meals - the scampi meal was much smaller. I would also like more veggies. Also they use some low quality ingredients - olive pomace oil for one and my pork bowl used tofu as a filler and I normally try to avoid soy- ok I should have read the listings better but with all the hype I expected better I cannot recommend this unless you find a free box coupon - maybe I just chose the wrong meals. I've never had a worse experience with a meal service. I received multiple meals from Factor that were spoiled on arrival -- warm packs, melted ice, and a smell that made it clear they'd gone bad. I contacted customer service immediately with photos and details, and instead of a refund, I got the runaround and an offer for a tiny "credit" toward more of the same bad food. It's honestly unacceptable for a company that ships perishable food to take zero responsibility when their product arrives unsafe to eat. The meals weren't just inconvenient -- they were completely inedible, and the smell alone made it obvious they shouldn't be consumed. I've been flooded with Factor ads for awhile, from social media to YouTubers promoting them but finally gave in with one of their Christmas discounts. I don't believe I had the option to reduce the first box of 10 meals down to 5 (which was an option for the 2nd and 3rd box), but I liked that you could at some point. At first, the meal options for the first box were diverse (various meats, pastas, etc.) but the 2nd box was limited and the 3rd box meals were primarily pasta options. Delivery of the boxes seem to be a hit or miss, as some locations utilize a 3rd party delivery company vs FedEx or UPS, which can be difficult for anyone in an apartment that may be hard to access. For mine, they used a 3rd party vendor who was able to deliver successfully (delivery time range was between 8am-8pm), and I received a "track your oder" link the day of (no live updates, just the initial order is on the move and order delivered). Boxes are well insulated, with protective packaging inside and 2 bricks of dry ice (one on the bottom of the meals and one on top). If you're going with a 10 meal option, the box can be pretty heavy and awkward to carry (if you don't have an elevator available). I believe they have a limited promo right now with a chocolate bar company, as the boxes came with a free chocolate bar and several coupons (plus coupons to share for new Factor subscribers and a wine subscrpition company). I liked the simplicity of the food, but agree that the meals are too high in sodium (mostly from the sauces). Cost wise, pretty on par with what you'd spend on meals in high cost of living cities but may not be a cheaper option for those outisde of cities. Halfway through, I decided to 'plate' the food vs the microwaveable container and found the food reheated easier that way. It was nice to try but I ended up cancelling after the 3rd box. Even though I cancelled last week, I received an email this week of an urgent recall as they reported several of their chicken meals had not been cooked properly and that they were pushing through an auto refund as my last order had a few of the meals that were recalled. With these prep meals, recalls and the risk of undercooked food in general is always going to be a risk (though the business should still do everything they can to ensure food safety/storage/shipment requirements are met). I did receive a refund of about $28 within a few days of the email. read more

I have tried many of these food plans and never found one I liked. Until I found Factor. The food is fresh when it gets to you never frozen. You refrigerated the food you do not freeze it and it comes in box and everything inside is recyclable except for the freezer pack, which you emptied the frozen bag into the trash and then recycle the bag. The best thing about factor besides the food in my opinion, which is excellent. It's very tasty and delicious and very pleasing to the eye. I find it reasonably priced and the instructions to cook the food is clear and precise. They have a large selection of meals that you pick every week from keto to high protein to high fiber. And the best thing about it is, you can change from a high fiber diet to a high protein diet to a keto diet with a click of a button. You can change the delivery date and you can choose to skip a week if you want. I give the Factor meals five stars. read more

Delivery is almost always delayed leaving one without their meals. This caused me to spend more money on goof, because I had to pay for groceries when my meals were delayed. The containers that the meals were in came broken on multiple occasions causing food to spill out in the delivery box making it unsafe to eat them. The delayed delivery and broken containers happened every week for 6 weeks and I was with factor for 5 weeks. I do not recommend this place! read more

And when you go on the app to check, just to see what their new salads or meals are after you've canceled your subscription, they automatically resubscribe you without your consent and charge your count. And when you call to cancel it, they say they canceled it. And they don't and they charge you again and when you try to call them, they tell you that it's too late to get your money back because the food has already been processed. They're a rip-off, they're thiefs, and they steal from people without authorization. That should not be allowed. Your information should not be documented and hidden. In some data system that they can keep charging onto it. Just by opening an app to look at what their foods are. BEWARE! My first order was just ok. The food is mushy and very high in calories. My second order came 2 days late, with the ice packs completely melted and the food was very warm and inedible. I immediately called to let them know and to cancel my subscription. Today, another box arrived with selections that I would never order or eat. I used Factor for 3 months. In just that short time, there were 6 FAILED DELIVERIES. I contacted them by phone and email. No one was able to give me an explanation as to why my boxes weren't getting delivered. My residence is easy to locate and conspicuously labeled. You have to be a complete idiot to screw it up. And yet, they managed to do just that 6 times. They refunded me (after first trying to keep the money and have it applied to future boxes, which were also undelivered). Such a huge disappointment. I really wanted to submit customer feedback to Factor, but they don't have any place to leave a review. They also don't have in-house customer service, and reps don't care about improving the business. You can tell that even if you submit a feedback complaint with customer service, they probably won't send over your message. Anyways, I hope Factor looks at this review and improves their service. Factor is overpriced for the portions they give you. I'm paying $15 per meal, but the portion size is not enough. You're going to have to cook a side to have a filling meal. On top that, all of the "carb" sides are made from vegetables. You can't have a complete diet without carbs, it will only make you more hungry, which is what I noticed after eating Factor regularly. Additionally, I don't like the quality of the fish/meat. I'm pescatarian but I ordered a chicken dish by mistake, and the meat looked suspiciously sterile. The shrimp and salmon also don't look natural. Last thing, the delivery boxes are extremely wasteful. They give you two kinds of ice packs with a total of six different packs. One says it's just ice, and can be poured down the drain, but when I tried doing that, it was filled with this thick gel substance that seemed like it would clog my drain if I emptied all six packs. There is also the insulation lining which stays clean after you unpack. It could definitely be used by a packaging company, but probably has no purpose for regular people. With how often Factor delivers, they should offer to pickup your previous box's recyclables when they deliver your next box. The packaging is only used once, and builds up waste if you're ordering every week. There is no reason for Factor to throw away good materials that can be reused. All in all, Factor could be a temporary solution if you're on a budget and don't feel like cooking. After you add salt and pepper, most of the meals are actually tasty. But given the issues, I wouldn't recommend and I've canceled my subscription. read more

Have been a customer for several years until today, 7/10/25. After spending thousands of dollars on this service, they refused to refund me $93.54 on a duplicated order that was their fault. Food is good but customer service has really gone down hill the past few years. Relying completely on technology with little to no human interaction. WORST PREPARED MEAL DELIVERY EXPERIENCE - EVER. I have tried a lot of prepared-meal delivery services in Washington DC. All with mixed results. But Factor_ has been our worst experience. I got an offer to try and was very hopeful. First sign of issues came when I tried to search for Gluten Free options. There is no filter and no detailed ingredients to decipher which meals, if any, are gluten free. After much searching, the fine print basically says: "Meals MIGHT be gluten free, but we use cross-contamination kitchens and outsourced ingredients and can't guarantee anything." So, NOTHING is actually rated as Gluten Free. On the day of delivery, I received an email that my order had been delivered, click here to see status... that took me eventually to an app/website called Jitsu... which showed a picture of a Factor Box at a tight-shot angle... label not visible, address not visible, no surroundings. A delivery map on the site (seemed like a plus) showed a delivery location at a different street (major not-plus). The box never came. Went to neighboring buildings and found nothing. Tried to use chat with Factor_ ... nothing but a bot until over an hour later (keep asking for a human). BUT then was told to call their customer service, the chat person could not help. Called and after 30 minutes on hold, the Factor rep said they were sorry, it happens all the time (they actually said that). They could not locate or confirm the delivery, they could not contact the courier. They could not even send a new replacement order. In the end, they could not really do anything about that missing order. They could only refund for this delivery and then asked if I wanted to deactivate my account - informing me that if I did any future discounts would be cancelled. The service pricing is based on discounts so if you ARE using Factor and you are paying full price, you are paying way too much. What a total fail. Factor is aspiring to be a meal DELIVERY company. Reliable DELIVERY is at least half the product. The person who shared the offer link with me also cancelled. Food was meh, quantities were meager. Selection was boring. The meal quality does not come close to fresh-cooked meals from a local restaurant, so if Factor can't even delivery reliably, what is their value? And if that is not bad enough, when I logged in today to cancel the account, they had reset my next delivery so that today was my last day to cancel. Luckily, I caught it and cancelled my account - which by the way you can only do from the phone app. On the web, you can only deactivate deliveries - your account stays dormant. Bad business model. Terrible execution. Bad policies and unbelievably tone deaf to customer concerns. Would NEVER recommend. OH... and to put a Cherry on top of this total waste... the result of my cancelling the account was a rambling email from Blash as Factor customer service that basically recanted all the conditions under which the account could be cancelled, confirmed that I met those and then said it would take up to 90 DAYS to cancel... This place charges your card the second you look at their website! They also don't let you look at the menu or really decide if you like the plans until you add your card. I've been a Factor customer more than 6 years and I am finally done. Meals USED TO BE very good quality. The last 6-12 months it has turned into a complete sh*t-show. When I first joined, it was advertised as "FREE DELIVERY FOR LIFE". Then during the pandemic, they quietly started charging for shipping. When i pointed it out, they pretended they never had that promise. I almost cancelled then but as it was the pandemic, I kept it for convenience. I maintain they owe me ALL the shipping fees they charged me. The last 6-12 months, so many errors - I skipped almost all weeks, and then they started screwing up, charging me for weeks i had clearly skipped and taken screenshots of... I have spent dozens of hours on these pointless chats with them, they will usually refund me but only after i spend 2-3 hours on each error, arguing with them. So I am spending MORE OF MY TIME on this than the charges are even worth, JUST to get my money back - However, I am done. I cannot waste any more of my life arguing with these fools. read more
