Greeted once I stepped inside, the place is super clean and relaxing, very organized. I waited in the seating area and then was taken up stairs so me I was modeling for one my friends to up her clientele. I reserved my spot ahead of time. And then when it was my time to be seen, the receptionist took myself and another model up stairs through the little shops and it was really nice. I enjoyed it the services they provided. I tipped my friend and I didn't have to pay. But I'm definitely coming back still for another facial. My face felt great the next few days and glowing! read more

My friend and I have a new tradition of getting facials when I'm in town. She comes here every week, and this Saturday was my third trip in about twelve months. The set up is there's a row of chairs almost like a barbershop and you lean back and get a facial. It can be so fun. As you arrive they offer a cool glass of still or sparkling water. As you get comfy your provider begins by cleaning your face of make up, confirm and customize a regimen for your needs, and can add a few upgrades such as scalp massage or other services during that hour. My first two facials were amazing. I'm understanding their rhythm. Since I don't go that often, I don't have a facialist that I remembered to request. My BFF made appointments for us a week in advance. This last visit was not for me. The person provided the roughest facial I've ever experienced, massaging my face with her knuckles into my upper jaw. She did ask if it was too much pressure and adjusted to a less intense pressure, but I didn't book a face massage. All I was thinking was, how is this a facial a spa like experience. She started with explaining the first step or two then just was on auto pilot, and stopped narrating what she was about to do. My friend who booked a person she was familiar with, said she loved it so much and was asleep for a great deal of the experience. Part of the experience is getting an ice cold metal tool rubbed on your face maybe to close your pores. On this occasion without warning I had icy rods on my face and it was shocking. It made me jump/wince because I wasn't expecting it. I realized my back tensed up and it was so cold it was slightly painful. After leaving I had glowing skin, but my neck has hurting from the tension of the shock of the rough facial massage and the icy tool on my face. Again, I have been twice before and had a spa like, positive experience. Previous visits I was chattering during the whole hour. This time around something just wasn't working for me. I know I will go back, but I'll confirm personally a different facialist. read more

They offered me champagne upon checking in! Wonderful and much needed after a long day at work. Courtney slayed my hydrafacial today. It was my first time ever having a Hydrafacial done. This met and exceeded my expectations. They paired me up with Courtney today and she was fabulous. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. Today, I did LED along with my facial. Their LED is strong! Love that for me. They have private rooms for Hydrafacial which I appreciate. The room is well equipped and also extremely clean. I felt comfortable. My face was absolutely glowing afterwards. Altogether my total was $265. That is extremely fair. I had called another boutique spot in Newport and they were going to charge me almost $500 for both of these things together. First off, the ambience is amazing. I love the concept of a facial "dry bar" type place. There were a ton of people getting the facial bar which I would try next time. I got the We Love Your Face Signature. It wasn't horrible, but I wouldn't get it again for the money. I haven't gotten a ton of facials in my life, but for the price I expected more. My esthetician was very sweet, but it just felt programmatic and not customized as described. Given the other positive reviews, I wouldn't let my experience deter you, but maybe ask for one of the recommended estheticians or do the facial bar. read more

I typically get the hydrafacials in the back treatment room, have never tried the facial bar area. I also love the Facialworks skincare line, which has been really great with my normal / combo / sensitive skin. My favorite products I use regularly are the Seas the Day AHA Exfoliator gel, Sea Mist toner, & Kelp Me Retinol dry oil. The dry oil is my favorite product ever... whenever I use it at night my skin / fine lines legit look so much better in the morning. read more

My original request for reviewing my account credits for my Facial Work Membership was on 02/22/23...I still have not received any kind of a report since my Membership started in June 2017. For a week, I was in touch with the Manager at the location- Jennifer. I cc owner, Meghan, no response, and Scott. Eventually Scott (title or position unknown) responded to my request on 02/28/23 and we are still going back and forth. To sum it up: 02/22/23 my balance was -3.5 credits or so, they charged my card for service but credited it the same day. 02/23/23 my balance was 2.25 credits, per Jennifer. No report or credits available before September 2019. 02/27/23 my balance was 6.5 credits, per Jennifer. 02/28/23 my balance was 7.25 per Scott 03/15/23 my balance is 6.5, but they "will give me 12 credits" per Scott 03/16/23 they will credit my account $2,000 for services and products (no tips) ... Once I told them I spend too much time in this and we should settle this in court. My calculations, based on my online FacialWorks account shows approx. 38 credits or $1,540. I emailed all the information to Jennifer and Scott on 02/23/23. read more
