I'd like to start this off by saying that this is my first genuine review of any place ever!! I just had to post this because Izabella is genuinely magic and other people deserve to know how amazing her work is!!! I began getting facials here a few months ago and the difference Rolora has made in my skin has actually been so noticeable. But genuinely, Rolora spa is just different, Izabella's energy is super welcoming and helpful, and she genuinely cares, which I have found to be rare in other establishments in the past. I booked a facial here after seeing an Instagram ad for a new client glow facial. The photos looked great, the location was convenient, and the promotion was appealing, so I decided to give it a try. When I arrived, no one was at the studio. I waited about five minutes before someone came out and told me they were running late and asked me to wait a bit longer. I waited another 10-15 minutes or so and when she had wrapped up with the previous client she was complaining how busy the day was and how tired she was. I felt bad that she seemed stressed but as I am a paying client I wanted to do my best to be patient and kind while still expecting professionalism. Before we began, she spent time discussing multiple add-ons and promotions, which I agreed to with the understanding that I have sensitive skin and that we would confirm what was appropriate once she examined my skin. I was reassured everything would be fine. The add-ons ended up doubling the price of the original promotional facial. Once the facial actually began, the experience changed significantly. During the cleanse, she commented "oh you have acne?" which felt uncomfortable and embarrassing. I had a few hormonal breakouts at the time, but I would not consider my skin acne-prone. She went on to say that my entire face was "infected" and used that word several times which was confusing and again embarrassing. She then said she could not perform the treatment we discussed due to my skin condition, but did not clearly explain what treatment she was performing instead. Throughout the service, she repeatedly left the room, sometimes leaving the door open, which made the experience feel rushed, disorganized, and not particularly relaxing. At the end, we sat down and she kindly offered tea, which I appreciated. However, the conversation quickly turned into a sales pitch for chemical peels and laser treatments. I was told that based on her assessment, I would need four to five treatments, totaling around $1,300. When I explained that this was not within my budget and that I'd instead be interested in booking other facials to support my skin, she told me it was not worth booking any facials at all and that even the service I had just received did not do anything for me. So why did I just pay double the price for a facial that "didn't really do anything for me" and then tip on top of that??? I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share this experience. If you are booking a promotional facial, be aware that if you have any breakouts or hormonal skin fluctuations, you may be told the advertised service is not appropriate and then pressured into costly packages instead. I don't know if this studio expects you to have clear skin before hand but to me that seems unrealistic and I left the experience not wanting to return for any other treatments. read more

Izabella repeatedly attempted to reschedule my appointment, which came across as unprofessional and inconvenient, especially for someone trying to establish as a first-time client. I understand that things come up, but consistent rescheduling creates a poor first impression and makes it difficult to trust the reliability of the business.
