After the surgery, I was left with facial asymmetry, uneven contours, and visible irregularities. My face appeared unbalanced, with areas that looked lumpy, distorted, and not natural. This was not what I expected from such a complex and highly marketed procedure. When I first raised my concerns, I was told to wait and allow time for healing. I respected that advice and waited patiently for over a year, believing that the results would gradually improve. They did not improve. In my experience, the outcome became more concerning over time. When I reached out again to address these ongoing issues, instead of receiving a clear and supportive resolution, I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously. Eventually, I was informed that the physician-patient relationship would no longer continue. This left me without support after a significant surgical experience, a substantial financial investment, and a long period of waiting. When I raised my concerns and felt significantly affected by the outcome, I requested a partial refund as a reasonable resolution. Instead of addressing my concerns or taking responsibility, I felt that my concerns were not acknowledged, and my access to communication--including social media--was blocked In addition, there were aspects of the treatment plan that, from my understanding during consultation, were expected to be performed but were not carried out as I had anticipated. This added to my confusion and disappointment. As a patient, I trusted an oral surgeon to perform a facial cosmetic procedure that requires not only technical skill but also aesthetic judgment and careful follow-through. Based on my personal experience, I did not receive the outcome or level of care that I had hoped for. This experience has cost me financially, physically, and emotionally. It has also impacted my confidence and daily life. I understand that every surgical procedure carries risks and that outcomes can vary. However, I strongly encourage anyone considering a deep plane facelift, especially with an oral doctor , to do extensive research, seek multiple consultations, ask detailed questions, and clearly document all expectations before moving forward. I've had 32 lifetime surgeries & know what to expect. This clinic took out stitches at 3 weeks with…read morea weeping hole in my gut post cyst removal. The top layer sutured then unsealed leaving the larger hole unhealed. Steri strips were applied at again after 25 days, but the tech applied them not to pinch and seal the incision line but across the entire gaping hole. Two days later the steri strips fell off with an unhealed hole still present at 30 days. I don't have an incision line with stitch scars as expected, I have a quarter size hole 100% unhealed with antibiotic ointment. I never saw a bona fide MD only PA & wound care staff who are incompetent IMHO despite my concerns voiced when stitches were removed. I will not return to this quack outfit again. A family MD removed two prior cysts the day he saw me with no delays & no complications. Find another dermatologist. PS Staff do not give post op directions clearly, they are more worried about face mask wearing which is like catching gnats with a tennis net.

Waited about ~15 minutes to be seen including time to complete my forms and speak to the assistant. Dr. Rachidi came in shortly after and asked what my concerns were. He addressed them very quickly and was informative. He gave me some options and was reassuring that everything I was worried about could be handled easily. He also asked if I needed any help with acne and offered solutions for those too. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience and would recommend Dr. Rachidi and his team at Elite Dermatology to anyone. So many of the other dermatologist office's I've visited in past years are either way too busy, don't have availability until much further out or are a pain to schedule with. Scheduling at Elite Dermatology was really easy with Zocdoc. Results remain to be seen, but I was able to have my concerns address and a solution was applied. Fair note: Dr. Rachidi does speak fairly quickly so just be prepared for that. Although he gives you plenty of time for questions and will repeat any missed information.
