Marian used some 'magical' gadgets to vibrate and loosen build up, followed by wonderful masks to unclog pores. She even had time for a deeply restorative facial massage (after some additional manual extractions which she kindly added in). The lash lift was the icing on the cake - she did such an amazing job giving me a really natural but enhanced lash curl. Who knew that everything I had been looking for was just down the street - I was skeptical, but upon entering the clean, quiet, intimate front office area, we were greeted by a front office young lady who was pleasant, professional, and eager to assist. Once I was checked in, I was introduced to Evelyn, my aesthetician. She seemed to immediately understand my needs and did not try to oversell me. My main concern was that I didn't want to be "overdone ". Evelyn made me feel understood right away. She created a treatment plan that consisted of a few stages and we began stage 1 - Botox and fillers a week later. Evelyn had a magic touch. I was numb and comfortable and hardly felt anything while she was working on me. No discomfort during the procedure which lasted about 30 minutes. Upon completion, she sent me home with some ointment in case I needed it for bruising or swelling but I really didn't need any of it as the swelling went down by the next day and the results are excellent, better than I expected. Now I am looking forward to proceeding with the next stage of my treatment in about two weeks. From now on, I am Evelyn's loyal customer.

I did go in to consult with Annie on my reaction and she advised that I likely had eczema, which I've suspected for awhile but have been in denial about...lo and behold, my doctor later confirmed it was indeed eczema (!). I called the office the following week and the receptionist made excuses for the business manager, who was to forward the quote. She'll be back in the office Monday and you'll receive the details then, yet no email arrived. I called a week later and my calls (phone number) had, apparently, been programmed to go sraight to voicemail automatically. I understand that Dr. Chin didn't want to move forward, but why wouldn't he simply just say this during the consultation, e.g., 'I don't believe you're a good candidate for this procedure.' or 'I don't think I'm the right doctor to proceed with this. Let me recommend someone else.'?? In fact, he ended the consultation with "Yes, we can definitely do this. The front desk will provide a quote and schedule, if you want to proceed." Based on this experience, he and his front desk staff were lieing to my face (and ears), which was both frustrating and incredibly unprofessional. If Dr. Chin didn't want to do it, he should just say so and/or have his staff advise. At least, he could show a little respect for others. He should not take people's money (the consultation fee isn't cheap), then lie to them and have your staff lie, as well. If you want an MD like this, he'll happily take your money! I'd rather trust my surgeon, one with integrity and basic respect for potential clients (patients).
