Friday chill...

Easy in, easy out. Fabrizio hooked me up and had me looking fresh in no time. Located on Brady St. right near Nomad these boys run a solid shop to get the hair done up correct. I'm not big on all the thrills and frills of hitting up the barber shop but I do think I found one of the good ones. These guys are skilled and know how to cut anybody's hair. That impresses me to no end and they also charge a fair price. I'll keep it just that simple and say if you want a solid fade or clip come here. These guys definitely know what's up!

Asked for MEDIUM/LOW skin fade and got a high

I tried this place about a week ago. Had to let my emotions settle before posting this review. 1) the place was dirty, hair all over the place, the floor, the drawers, desk, chair, you name it (it's a barbershop I know, but they literally had no one getting their hair cut and 3 people working, you could at least clean while you can) 2) the place smelled like smoke 3) I mentioned 3 people working, really it was an older gentleman and two younger looking kids(probably teens) and one of them was hovering (I guess he was being trained) the other one was obsessed with the song "Life is Good." 4) I asked for a MEDIUM/LOW skin fade and got a really high one 5) I said NOTHING about boxing my front up and he did it anyway (good initiative, horrible judgement) All in all I should've known not to go there when literally NO ONE was there for a cut. One of the kids was even haggling people near the entrance to go in and get a haircut. For some reason this place has great reviews and I assume it's from the other barbers, which I should've tried to book an appointment. But again no one was working except the three mentioned. At $30 a messed up cut, not worth it.

In MKE I suggest asians come here for a haircut! Many americans can't cut Asian hair well because of the hairstyle, but I am satisfied with it!

Barber pushed my hairline back because he didn't know how to line up dreads. I only went here because I seen some black reviews. Never again

Don't go here if you have dreads. It's apparently too much to handle. Pushed my hairline back on all sides. How? Ask the person that trained him.

Hands down the best experience I have ever had getting my hair cut! Sometimes people are just better than everybody else at something!

My hair cut turned into a cut plus color, Nilo's recommendation, I was terrified at first but totally trust him.

This was hands down the worst hair service experience ever, and I feel obligated to warn others so…read morethey don't make the same mistake. My daughter went to Rylie for hair extension installation expecting professional work and left with severely damaged hair that she is now struggling to repair. From the start, the process felt rushed and careless and Rylie had a nasty attitude. The extensions were installed with excessive tension, improper placement, and zero concern for the health of the natural hair. Within days, my daughter experienced intense scalp pain, breakage, and noticeable hair loss. Instead of enhancing her hair, this service destroyed it. She now has uneven patches, weakened strands, and damage that will take months--if not longer--to recover from. A hair extension install should never leave someone afraid to touch or brush their own hair. Final Warning Do not go to Rylie for extensions Do not trust her with your natural hair Do not ignore the red flags If you care at all about the health of your hair, take your money elsewhere. No hairstyle is worth this level of damage and stress. I'm sharing this so others are spared the same outcome.

I was a long-term client whose regular stylist was on maternity leave. During that time, communication from the salon was extremely poor -- messages went unanswered and there was no clear system for managing or transitioning clients. Because of this lack of communication, I ultimately sought services elsewhere. At that appointment, a licensed stylist evaluated a recent full reinstallation of my top row of extensions performed at this salon and identified a serious concern with the installation. I was informed that the weft contained too little extension hair, resulting in too much of my natural hair being pulled into a single attachment point, creating unsafe tension at the scalp and a risk of traction damage or hair loss if left in longer. This was not an overdue install. It was a recent, full reinstallation. Notably, my bottom row -- which had not been serviced for months (my decision) -- did not show the same level of tension, further indicating the issue stemmed from the installation itself rather than normal wear or timing. This was especially alarming given that the salon recommends repeated "move-ups" (approximately $200 per row), which another stylist explained can compound tension over time and increase the risk of damage when an install is already compromised. When I attempted to ask questions and communicate concerns during my appointment with the stylist, Rylie, who performed the service, the responses felt passive-aggressive and dismissive, making it difficult to advocate for my hair health or feel supported. After leaving an initial, carefully worded review, the salon responded not with accountability, but with defensive and threatening language, including statements that my review was "malicious," "unfounded," and "legally documented." This response was deeply disappointing and reinforced my decision to no longer trust this business with my hair or concerns. I am sharing this experience so other clients can make informed decisions -- particularly those receiving extension services where technique and scalp health are critical. Be aware and do not go especially if you're spending the investment on extensions!!!

I found my massage experience to be very beneficial and such a relaxing experience (s/o to Rebecca). I liked the option to choose your aromatherapy as well. I came in for my first visit back in December and was prompted upon checkout to book another appointment 4 months later, which I did. I dint receive any email or text then of the appointment, but figured I would be reminded closer to my appointment so I didn't mind. Day of, I received ONE text less than than 3 hours before my appointment asking to confirm. I clearly informed them that I was unaware of my appointment since this was the first correspondence. They proceeded to charge me with a $35 cancellation fee, without mentioning this. I only saw since I checked my bank account. I tried asking for a refund since I was not given sufficient notice to even cancel or reschedule my visit and there was no assistance and then they just stopped responding. The cancellation policy online states that if you cancel more than 3 hours before your visit, there isn't an issue, but I wasn't even texted more than 3 hours before, so this wasn't even an option for me. I think this is just a lazy way to get money out of people and reflects poorly on your ability to correspond with clients in a timely fashion.
