I ordered furniture on August 2, 2019. One piece was not in store yet, so instead of paying 2…read moredelivery fees (one immediately and one when the last piece arrived) I decided to hold off until the final piece I was told would arrive on September 28. On that day, the piece had not arrived and would be another 5 weeks, they said. I'd cleared out my apartment, counting on the furniture being ready when they said it would be, so I needed to pay for the delivery on the September 28. I complained about this and the district manager (who I was lcky to get on the phone that day when I called the store) said she'd throw in the delivery of the final piece for free. Either she didn't communicate that to the store manager or the store manager lied about it so he wouldn't have to cover the loss. I decided to go grab the piece myself when it finally arrived, on November 5 (ish), which was massive, cumbersome and time consuming, especially moving the two pieces of it into the elevator, through doors, etc. So I waited three months for my complete order to arrive, was lied to and ended up doing the moving myself. If I'd known I'd have to pick up the last piece myself (for free), I wouldn't have elected to wait three months to get my furniture that was ready August 2. That, and the lies/miscommunication/complete inflexibility that the Structube manager had with me (including not letting me contact the district manager who'd made the promise to me), is why I'm giving a 1 star. Customer service and dealing with nice people is what I want, and I'd have paid more for my furniture if it meant these problems hadn't happened. Furniture quality is good enough. We bought the Pacifica, which is an excellent 200 lb table from India (thank God this isn't the one I was going to have to move myself), and a couch which is decent enough but probably comes from China. Bought a few other things as well which are good. Despite the quality of the furniture I still feel manhandled and I had to deal with BS so I'm giving 1 star. If this is how the company runs itself nationally, you run the same risks I ran w.r.t. poor management and needless stress. Hopefully the store manager or district manager will read this and realise that the customer is never wrong.
