They also sell kitchen gadgets and some home decor. I'm sure I'll be back to Jacobson's, which is normally enough for a fourth star from me, but I had a hard time going above three stars because it is quite expensive. For things that you could find at other stores in Ottawa you can almost certainly get a better price by shopping elsewhere. If you are not on a budget, though, and want to be able to go to one store and find something for someone who loves their kitchen then I'd be shocked if you couldn't a very nice gift for whoever is on your list. (I'm a student, so my time is still worth less than my money and I shop around.) I will say, though, that the staff at Jacobson's is *extremely* friendly, knowledgable and helpful - and this earns them the fourth star. I was extremely satisfied with the customer service on both of my visits. I bought rilettes and patés (that I otherwise couldn't find without making a trip to Quebec) and beautiful chocolates, all as Christmas gifts which were wrapped wonderfully by the staff. I can't make Jacobson's a regular part of my shopping routine, but it's good to know that it's around.

I'm glad I took a picture of this place so at least I have proof that the place exists. Outside of its inability to be found in any Google search that I've tried, once you step into @Home, you're in for a decent time. @Home is a kitchenware store with a large assortment of different items that you can use in the kitchen or dining area. The items range from the strictly utilitarian (e.g., spring form pans - nothing fancy there) to the imaginative (e.g., elegantly shaped wine decanters). If you're looking for some interesting décor add-ons for your kitchen, or looking for something to theme your next party, this is probably a good place to start. It's not just the variety, but the quantity of items that is also overwhelming. There's tons of stuff that you can go through and, if you're so inclined, it's pretty easy to kill a half an hour in this little shop. Add to this it is an independent store and not a larger chain, so if you're into helping out the smaller business, this is a great store for you. Just don't try to Google your way there. Just get to Earl Grey Drive and look for the place in the picture.

We loved that it's a local store and we try to support local in our purchases whenever possible. They have a variety of furniture on the floor as well as decor of all kinds. The team at Blueprint Home was absolutely great! Karrie and Kim were very knowledgeable and helpful when we explained to them what we were looking for. We could tell that they are passionate about what they do and actually care about providing excellent service to their clients. We ended up buying a Lind leather couch and love seat for a good deal. We ordered them in July and we were expecting to receive them at the end of November, but the shipment arrived early November instead. It was a pleasant surprise! The white glove delivery experience was amazing and we're very content with our overall experience with Blueprint Home. We're planning on going back to get more furniture and decor there in the future. We highly recommend them!

Yesterday i went to return an item. I was told the returns was down as the person dealing with this…read morewas not in. I asked to see the manager to discuss this further and upon the manager arriving I got the exact same response. I asked the manager whether I was able to able to exchange the product for another item and if there are able to manually write down the item for which i had a receipt for and was still declined. When the manager noticed my frustration, in-order to get rid of me I was told to please go ahead and make a complaint if i was not happy about the service. Me personally being in the customer service business I definitely though this was highly un-professional and that this situation could have been dealt with better or for CT to have a back-up plan in place.
