I brought in a picture to be framed for my office at work. As soon as Fabio saw my picture, he immediately went to a frame which was stunning, and I knew it would be the perfect frame! I dropped off the picture on Thursday February 15th and received a phone call yesterday February 16th that it was complete. When I arrived at the shop my picture was brought out wrapped up and when it was shown to me, I was so impressed with how beautiful it turned out. Fabio's shop is wonderful, full of amazing choices of frames, glass and ideas to showcase your art. Service is impeccable and I love supporting a small business owner. Highly recommend! read more

Go here! Great service, fair prices, good selection, and lots of options. I received a bunch of oil paintings from a relative and needed them framed. I hate framing'! It's difficult, expensive, and time-consuming -- a soul-killing experience. I started my search at the usual hobby and art stores & also shopped on-line. I was saddened by the low quality and lack of selection at the big box chains, and their custom frames are crazy expensive. On-line was a high priced hassle. Fabio worked with me to find some "oops" frames and scraps to keep my prices low. They look great and were finished quickly. I'm never going to another frame shop as long as Fabio is here. read more

My second visit getting some work done, but my most recent job was done in a day! Maybe because of COVID, I work was quick. I was happy to get it back. Pricing was affordable and option to pay up front or after work is done. Olga draws beautiful pictures of family pets that would make great gifts to your love ones. read more

After 7 yrs of this print sitting in my closet I found Fabio and I couldn't be happier with the results. It's just beautiful. Fabio is just the kindest person and I thought the price was reasonable considering the impact of his artistic touch in framing this piece and making it complete. Now to get the beaded necklace made by some women in the Sudan framed! Thank you so much Fabio. read more

I had an art piece that needed to have the broken frame replaced. It was done so fast and well. Great service.

Pros: Large Selection of frames and Fabio is helpful. Cons: My artwork was damaged during the framing process and there were several balls of black lint under the glass. I had to discover all of this on my own, and because of the damage I did not trust the shop to clean the lint they left under the glass and I brought it elsewhere. Also, they only offer glass and no acrylic which makes large artwork ridiculously and unnecessarily heavy. read more

Absolutely beautiful work! My life is better having known Fabio. He will listen, find what you need and you will feel like your project is the most important project he has. read more

When I bought my house, I wanted to get some art professionally framed. Fabio's did such an incredible job that I kept bringing in all sorts of projects. Olga is incredibly talented. She helped me pick out all of the materials for the paintings and photos, and her eye for color and texture is amazing. Admittedly, I don't have the best eye, so I am grateful that Olga is there to help! She has saved me from myself on more than one occasion, and is always very kind and very honest. I have had some of my pieces framed in top-of-the-line museum glass and imported leather and wood, and have also been given the option of selecting remnant pieces left over from other framing projects when I wanted to spend less money. They are great about working with your budget, and when you pick up the finished work, every piece looks like you spent thousands on it. I love this shop, and I won't take my art anywhere else. read more

I am a watercolor artist. I was in search of a frame shop to frame a custom piece I painted for a client. They wanted a certain look to the frame so I tried Fabio's. I was very impressed. They have a huge selection of mats and frame material. Their customer service is unsurpassed. After Fabio Znd I decided on materials, he framed it for me in a little over an hour. I was fortunate that he wasn't busy but I will be a return customer for sure. Thank you, Fabio! read more

The work done at this frame shop is absolutely wonderful! From the first moment you step in, there is a great atmosphere with music and lighting. You are greeted and helped straight away with discussing what you want to do with your framing. The variety of frame, matting and glass options is superb. I originally went in for a simple black frame and white matting, which they were happy to provide. Then they pointed out a much better combination with double matting and a similar frame in a deep rich brown that would better compliment the art piece itself without drawing attention away from it. The results were beautiful! I had eye-catching framing and matting that complimented the art and made it pop. I was able to pay for half of the framing job upfront and the second half upon completion, which was extremely fast. They even provided complimentary hook & nails to mount my frame at home. I will be going back to frame future projects and definitely recommend them to you. read more

Found this fantastic shop when hunting to get a new piece of art I recently acquired framed. Upon entry, I met Fabio. Great energy & you can immediately tell he loved what he does. Place was very clean & had a large selection. Great vibes from the shop. Fabio was very knowledgeable, helpful, & kind. His expertise was noticeable. We figured out a frame, he priced me out, & said he'd call me when it's ready. About a week goes by & he leaves me a voicemail that the piece is ready. When I came to pick up, Olga showed me the piece. She had said he personally framed it. Absolutely FANTASTIC! I couldn't be happier with every aspect of our transaction. I have a lifelong framer & I couldn't be happier. This is one small business I fully support. read more

We stopped in kind of on a whim during a hunt for picture hanging supplies. You see, I live in a pre-War apartment, the kind with the old picture railing at the ceiling and plaster walls. You don't just hang a nail in my place, you buy picture hooks for the antique railing and then buy picture wire long enough to hang from the 11-foot ceilings (where the hooks are.) It's complicated. Also, harder in today's modern just-put-a-nail-in-the-wall world, where no one seems to sell picture wire in lengths greater than five to ten feet. I already have the hooks and railing - just need the wire. The staff were super-busy explaining to a few folks that they would be happy to do a lovely job framing something but would need more than an hour to do it but were more than happy to stop and let me explain my problem and try to work with me. A few details later and they had a few suggestions and some special order offers. I have a few paintings that need re-stretching and framing and you can bet I'll be back to give those services a try, given the great customer service available. They even have a small chair and some Dr. Seuss books for my kid while we wait! read more

I got three big pieces of art framed here and they did such a great job. It is a little pricey, but not much more than Joann's! My art was all very odd dimensions, including a painting on loose canvas cloth I got from Tanzania. Fabio stretched it and fit it beautifully into the frame it always needed. They put new matting to make the art pop, and custom frames are made so well. My fiance got his degree framed here (with museum glass) and it looks proud and beautiful. Because we've spent a little over 500 here together, my man and I get $50 off our next project! Sounds like a beautifully framed wedding portrait to me!!! Olga sent me home with free hooks to hang the art on my wall. Support passionate craftsmen like this, they are increasingly rare in our times. read more

What do you do when you have artwork on the east coast that needs to be framed and in Seattle in only three weeks so that it is in place for a wedding event? You contact Fabio! I worked with Fabio and Olga to make arrangements to ship two prints to the shop, have my son and his bride visit the shop to select matts, frames, and glass, and have the framing completed on time. The work was done beautifully and at a reasonable price! Fabio and Olga were so easy to work with, clearly communicating every step of the way by phone, email and text as needed, so that I had an estimate of the cost, and was kept informed that the artwork had arrived safely, design agreed on with my son, and the framing completed and ready for pickup a week prior to the event! Fantastic service! read more

Wonderful customer service! I came in there totally clueless about the project I was starting, and they offered so much advice, support, cost-effective ideas and weren't pushy in the least. Great experience from the moment I walked in. Fabio met me at the door and helped me to figure out what to do to get my painting stretched and and fix a panting error that happened in transit. I brought 3 pieces in to be framed. The first was a large canvas that I bought at an antique store; Fabio recommended dry mounting it and a gorgeous wooden scoop frame. The second was a cute little piece I purchased years ago in Africa; he helped me choose a gorgeous double matte to accentuate the colors. The final piece is a watercolor print we just purchased that spurred the whole trip; Olga helped me pick the correct colors for a wonderful double matte job again and a great frame to go with it. Overall the service and quality were wonderful. In situations like this I remind myself that you get what you pay for and quality is worth the price. We will absolutely be back when we are ready for frame more items. read more

Fabio an Nicole are incredible. Great framing is a lost art! I am so glad that I found them. They both assisted me after two of my favorite pieces of framed artwork looked like they were thrown off the FedX truck while it was going 80 MPH's. Frames broken, glass broken, mats destroyed and artwork slightly damaged. Fabio was able to rejoin the frames and touch them up, Nicole picked out beautiful mats that were less expensive, but showed off the artwork; in a week I had my artwork back! On top of all of that great service, they are just lovely people. I highly recommend them. read more

FABIO'S FRAME SHOP.....Great GREAT Expertice AND the absolute Tenacity to see a Big Difficult job through to its MUCH MORE THAN SATISFORTORY COMPLETION!!!! I have owned and operated a successful custom jewelry store called Federal Way Custom Jewelers for 35 of the 59 years of its existence. Recently, (beginning in July of 2014) my Son, who is in his 7th year here, finally prodded me into a full remodel of our store. It had not been substantially changed since relocating here 2 decades ago in 1994! After new 3 tone paint, and installation of new carpet tile (something I was completely unfamiliar with) and 3 new 50 inch flat screen wall mounted TV's, we were ready to completely re frame and recover our existing 30 year old 4 foot by 3 foot wall frames, each of which held SIX smaller, individual pictures of custom jewelry items we had made for our customers. After careful checking and interviewing we selected Fabio's Frame Shop. They happened to be in our local community of Federal Way, Washington and have been in business for years. I could tell that Fabio has a passion for what he does, just as I do. I regard this as most important....maybe the most important thing. It was a BIG, complicated job, and very important to get it right. Fabio himself recommended and helped my son and I to choose the perfectly appropriate frame material, style and color of new frames to replace the very dated chrome frames we had originally purchased decades before. Well, it wasn't just framing. it was completely recovering the pressboard base with beige material (fully replacing the original deep purple) and then precisely measuring and drilling 6 holes in each of the original pressboards, because the new smaller frames were a different size than the originals and therefore no longer hung centered top to bottom and left to right. I was completely unprepared for this and it made my head hurt frankly! Never fear FABIO IS HERE! That man took charge of the whole challenge and made it perfect, even though the small frames were purchased by us before we selected Fabio's frame shop to remake our large frames! That's RIGHT! It was not his problem or his responsibility, yet he IMMEDIATELY set to work to fix OUR problem. Wowee......and boy, do the results ever speak for themselves! If anyone in the local area would like to see just how fantastic the quality of work Fabio's Frame Shop can do on a very difficult and unusual task, please feel free to come to our shop and see the beautiful result of their efforts here in Federal Way. You will be just as absolutely amazed as we were.....Go Fabio! read more

Outstanding work by Fabio and his associate love my picture and frame

This is a wonderful shop to get your art work framed by a true artisan. You also get treated to the warmth and kindness of a local merchant and family run business. There is no rushing here, they take all the time you need to carefully select the materials that will make up your frame. Currently they are working on a unique frame for a tribal hat from Northern Thailand. I trust Fabio and his wife Nicole and recommend you check them out, you won't be disappointed. read more

Love, Love, Love Fabio's Frame Shop. I have never had anything professionally framed before, and I was a bit nervous about about getting it done. I'm a person who reads reviews and I liked everything I read about Fabio's Frame Shop, so I chose it for my first professional framing experience. So glad I did. My husband and I walked in and were greeted in such a warm and welcoming manner, I was hooked right there. I'm a stickler for manners and good customer service. I had bought a lovely print of Paris that reminded me of everything I had fallen in love with there. It was an odd size, and I really didn't know how I wanted it framed or if I wanted mounted etc. I needed expert help and that exactly what I received. Nicole was amazing, she patiently helped me to see what I wanted. She showed me several different framing options, different colors, I so appreciated her patience. We could see that Fabio was very busy but he came over and introduce himself and measured my print. Fabio made such a beautiful frame for my print, a work of art. My Print is Beautiful. I'm so very happy with it. As of this review I have had two other prints frame at Fabio's Frame Shop. I am a Fan for life. Thank you Nicole and Fabio, you are very much appreciated. read more
