Same idea with a megaformer and low impact, high intensity moves that leave you sweating, so it just all depends on what vibe you like more! I like that the megaformer offers variety even within one workout and coming to a studio like this offers movements and workouts that you cannot easily replicate at home. Plus, small class sizes (12 people max?) offer the boutique experience. The instructor was able to provide hands-on modifications and demonstrate the moves on an unoccupied reformer but that would be more difficult if the class was fuller. It seems they have days focusing on different body parts, so depending on which day you choose, you may get less arm workouts but more core and legs or vice versa. Not sure if that information is on the website but there is a calendar with the schedule in the studio. Tip: - There is no warm-up so be on time! - Bring a water bottle and towel if you sweat easily like I do. - Would recommend good sticky socks so you have more stability, especially when you start sweating on your platform. - A great way to try out the class is with one of the $5 teacher-in-training classes!

I had recent surgery and our instructor and other members of the team in the class helped modify, encourage and motivate you throughout the circuit. The playlist was jamming, tempo was fluid and i definitely built up a great morning sweat! My heart rate was definitely up and pumping! Everyone was so friendly, we are all here for the same reason to better ourselves so adding this type of exercising to the mix definitely changes it up from the normal weekly gym splits and cardio. I think we'll definitely be back. Appreciate everyone at PG studio.

The circuits are different every class, which keeps it interesting every time you come in. They offer 50 minute classes and you switch stations every few minutes, alternating between strength/lifting exercises and cardio. The instructor I had was AMAZING and super motivating. Everyone here was super kind and you can feel the high energy while you're doing the circuits, which just motivates you to push harder. I recommend Proving Ground Studio to anyone looking for a challenging, yet rewarding workout.

Love the small group classes! The classes are brief (45 mins but really a ~30 min workout with a…read morewarm up and a cool down) but are efficient - you're getting a tough workout if you have the right form and right weights. The instructors keep their eye on you - especially the owner, Zeynep. Definitely loved the yoga class - it was slow, restorative and I learned new things despite practicing yoga on and off for over a decade. There's mood lighting, upbeat music, and no more than 8 people a class really. It's right underneath the star market so parking is free and it's so convenient to swing into the store after class to grab groceries before going home.... Or to just have parking in general. (I've definitely done the manic run to the Pilates class. And they are quite forgiving if you're late.) They are neighbors to a little kid gym, so parents can drop off their kids there and go for a quick workout and grocery shopping. Highly recommend
