5 stars - my go-to Equinox location…read more Equinox Studio City is my home gym and I'm here pretty much every day. I've been to Hollywood, DTLA, West Hollywood, Glendale, Santa Monica, and Studio City is still my favorite overall. Biggest thing is cleanliness. For how busy this place gets, it's always maintained. Towels are always stocked, locker rooms are constantly being cleaned, and I've never walked into a shower that was out of products. There's always staff in there keeping everything in check. Another huge win is Erewhon Studio City right next door. You finish your workout and immediately have a solid post-workout meal ready. Nothing beats that. There's no Earth Bar here, but honestly you don't even need it because Erewhon is better. You do have to time your workouts though. Early mornings before 8am are the best, weekends early are even better and usually empty. After 9-10am it starts getting packed, and evenings around 5-7pm are honestly tough if you're trying to get a smooth workout in. People complain about parking because the plaza gets busy, but I've never had an issue. I go early, get a great spot, and I'm out before it gets crazy. One issue I've raised multiple times is people bringing oils into the steam room. When they pour it in, the whole place smells, it sticks to your body and hair, and I've had allergic reactions from it. It happens less now, but when it does it completely ruins the steam room. Feels like something that could be controlled better. The vibe here is more low-key, which I like. People mind their business and just work out. Compared to Hollywood, which can feel more social and sometimes uncomfortable, Studio City feels way more normal and focused. Front desk and trainers are hit or miss. Some are great, some don't even acknowledge you. Trainers here mostly keep to themselves unless you hire them, while other locations feel more welcoming. Not a dealbreaker, just noticeable. Music is at a good level too--it doesn't interfere with your headphones, which I appreciate. At the end of the day, I'm here daily for a reason. If you figure out the timing, this is one of the best Equinox locations in LA.

Almost $400 a month for a single floor gym? No thank you…read more I couldn't put my finger on it but something about this place just wouldn't allow me to relax. Something just felt very busy and crowded about the space. I never feel anxious working out .. and I gotta be honest I was expecting more. The gym floor just feels CRAMPED. All the cardio machines felt on top of each other. There's a mirror in the center of the floor by the dumbbells that doesn't look secure since it shakes when people drop weights or walk by .. what's that about? If you're someone that likes to do hiit or has your own routine where you just need a little section to exercise, they don't have that. There's people everywhere. There no turf or anything. There's a small stretching area next to the group exercise classroom if you're able to squeeze in and find a space. I do like that they offer theraguns for use in that stretching area. The locker room was probably the best part. Very cozy and very clean. Second best part was the yoga class I took, I enjoyed that. It's nice to have so many classes available, but I'm not one for group classes. Oh yeah, they DID have a versa climber which is rare to find in a gym these days. I appreciated that because I love that thing. Overall I was disappointed, it's just not for me. There's gotta be a better location.

Results Fitness Center is a true gem and one of the last gyms in LA that still has a soul. The owner, Leo, is present, genuinely cares about the community more than scaling, and truly believes in what he's built. The members aren't zombies staring into space with headphones on, people actually say hello, respect each other, and still give you your space to train. There's a real energy here that's hard to explain unless you experience it. I honestly hope to see more gyms bring back this kind of spirit and culture, but for now I'm just grateful I found this one. Thanks for reading. See you at the squat rack.

One of the major perks (aside from being exceptionally clean) is that you receive a fob and are able to come anytime, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Along with the membership option, he also has packages for personal training. Some other things to mention - there's a lot of parking, 2 restrooms with showers and towels, and cubbies to put your items. Come check it out, you'll be glad you did! It's quite the community.

Let me tell you about Alec and his new gym, Perfect Form LA. I've been into fitness for decades and…read morehave worked with many trainers worldwide, but Alec? He's seriously in a league of his own. He created a program called The Perfect Form-u-la (get it?). Yes, I know, everyone has a program. But this one's the real deal-- evidence-based science integrating exercise, nutrition, and recovery. Gains happen fast and have been consistent. Works perfectly for me. What I appreciate about Alec is that he's super disciplined but also just a great guy to be around. He pushes you hard, but you're also having fun while sweating that last rep. It's no wonder all these celebs and big shots are lining up to train with him. The gym is like a private playground for people serious about getting in shape, with a cool, upscale vibe. The place is decked out with just the right amount of high-end gear, which is awesome, but Alec and his wife, Jess, really make it special. Bottom line? Give Alec and Perfect Form a shot at delivering an exceptional experience and the results you want now.

In our initial meeting, I told him…read moremy goals: to get stronger, to put on muscle, to get more bone density, and to get a more shapely butt and hips. I'm a 48 year-old female who was doing yoga everyday -- generally fit but maybe a little too slender and frail. Alec put me on a training regimen of heavy lifts at my requests - squat variatons, deadlifts, a little bit of upper body (bench presses, shoulder presses, back rows, lat pulldowns). I feel great after every workout -- he pushes me to my limits, but with a smile and gentle encouragement. He makes me believe in myself. I have felt so proud of myself after starting this journey -- I've put on about 5 lbs, mostly muscle. My strength has gone way up in my lower body, plus I can see a big difference -- I definitely have more curves, and I feel better in my body. I definitely recommend Alec highly. He has such a deep knowledge of how the body works and what it takes to train it for specific goals. He is so easy to work with and talk to. He always responds to my texts. And the space is beautiful and welcoming, with great lighting and a very clean environment. There is street parking, but I park at the Walgreens next door and just buy something lol. But to sum it up: having a trainer is for sure an indulgence, but Alec is definitely worth it.

Nicolas Marin is a beast of a trainer and absolutely deserves a 5-star shoutout…read more I've been working out for years, so I'm not exactly new to the gym, but he still managed to level me up without trying to "reinvent the wheel" or talk down to me. From the jump he locked in on what I actually needed -- tightening up form, not rushing, focusing on form, smarter programming with my sets, and pushing past the usual comfort zone without wrecking my joints. He really dialed in small adjustments that made a big difference (stuff I honestly should've caught by now), and the session never felt generic. Real knowledge and the right amount of push. I walked out feeling gassed in the best way, but not broken, and very aware and exciting and exactly what I need to be working on next. If you already train and want someone who can fine-tune your game instead of just counting reps, go see Nicolas. Super solid dude, locked-in energy, 5 stars all day! Thanks

Nicholas takes his time with each pose...opening your muscles deeper each time. Again...I've been doing this for years and have progressed more in Nicholas' class the last 6 months than I ever had in yoga. Sure the pace is slower, sure we hold the positions longer but I prefer this type of class more than any flow class I've been to. I hope he sticks around. Thank you for what you do Nicholas!!

I decided to join this gym about 2 weeks ago and I must admit, the main reason why I joined is…read morebecause of the staff here. Everyone is friendly and extremely helpful when it comes to any questions or concerns you have for equipment or advice. The gym is small, quiet and very secluded but you have all the essential tools and necessary equipment to get your mind and body back in shape after a long day at work. This gym is only available to NBCUniversal employees and is a great addition to have available for stress relief and overall fitness. One of the advantages of joining up is they give you the option of having your membership directly deducted out of your paycheck (so you probably won't notice after a while) and by doing so, they offer a better deal. They have all of the equipment you need for cardio, heavy/light weightlifting and a schedule of different classes each month. The equipment is clean, well taken care of and all the bikes and treadmills have TV's on them. The only negative is they don't have a real bench press. They do have a smith machine that you can use to get your chest workouts and squats in but for safety reasons a bench isn't provided there. The shower area is a little narrow and tight but if you go after peak times (they say peak is 12pm-1pm & 5pm-6pm) no one is really in the gym. At the front counter they have drinks and protein bars plus headphones, locks, socks and other personal items you can purchase if needed. Overall, I really enjoy coming here and I love how it's not like a day club with people constantly trying to hit on each other or just sitting by machines talking. I can come in, get my work done and get home! I highly recommend joining this gym if you're an employee who just wants an old fashion workout and isn't looking for a pool, steam room, basketball courts and other special amenities.
