F45 Training Pearlridge - Trainers Near Me - Aiea, Hawaii

The new way to get a workout in. Located in the Pearlridge Shopping Center near CPK. If you are not familiar with F45, its an Australian concept that was brought to the US who now is backed by stars like Mark Wahlberg. You will see him promoting this along with Mario Lopez. Intro is currently $2 for 2 weeks. Due to covid, classes are limited to 15 and you work in your own "pod". If you watch video of locations in the mainland, its open and you move stations. This is how it was pre-covid and one day it will get back to this. When that happens, I remember their being about 45-50 people in the classes which makes this fun (not that it isn't). In 45 minutes you can burn ALOT of calories. There is a variety of weights, so you use what you know you feel comfortable with. There is no intimidation from others. The instructors are motivating. I always say that you need to learn from a person who practices what they are telling you. I always gauge a exercise program by the instructors. I want to see that they are fit and if they are yelling at you to do more burpees its because they do it themselves. To be fit.... I want to see fit! read more

I used their gym two times during my trial peiod of 14 days. And i discontinued before my trial days expired. They hide information about 28 days cancellation fee, so you gonna pay $168 for additional 4 weeks after you decide to cancel membership. Not going to mention name of the person who I spoke with, but the guy have attitude. Better customer service and cancellation policy will help build better associations with your F45 brand. read more

I'm the type of person who needs to workout in a group setting - if left to my own devices, I'm more likely to get lazy and not exercise or not pus h myself. I need to surround myself with other like-minded, motivated individuals. I have to admit, it was pretty intimidating at first to be in a group, but what I love best is that there is such a wide range of people at different fitness levels and there is no judgement for whatever level you may be at. (Honestly, there is no time for judgement, we're all so busy trying not to die!) Class basically starts with an intro/demo to the exercises and timing for the class. A quick warmup and then you immediately go from 0 to 100 for about 40 minutes (no cooldown or stretching after). Mon/Wed will be your cardio days, Tues/Thur/Sun your resistance (weights) days and Fri/Sat are hybrid days. The class will be the same exercises/timing all day (so if you take an AM and PM class you're basically taking the same class twice). I've been a member for around 3 years and haven't gotten bored yet. They keep switching things up, so even after all this time, it's still challenging. Cost wise, I think it's on par with any other group fitness type gyms. You're paying for an experience. I could easily pay a fraction of the cost to just join a "regular" gym and do this on my own, but I would not have seen the results that I have without that extra push from the coaches and being motivated by other members. It's more expensive than a regular gym, but cheaper than a good personal trainer. They're always doing promotions, so if you're looking to try, check out their IG or walk by the studio to see what promotions they have. Then I would suggest trying as many days as you can in your trial because they're all going to be different. read more

Visited this location my last Saturday in Hawaii, the vibes are top tier and the welcome committee emulates the aloha spirit. Coaches were great, although a 6am class was jam packed she made sure to check form and push you. If I ever moved back to Hawaii this would definitely be my home location for sure read more

"Nah, I ain't into that type of gym, I like doing my own thing". That was my initial response when my better half suggested we become members of this place. Reluctantly, after much cajoling and negotiations, I relented and decided to commit to the one place that would positively change my outlook on the long reaching benefits of training in a group setting. There's an old saying: There are no strangers in foxholes, and in a way, this is applicable at F45 Pearlridge. We are all enduring the challenging workouts together, encouraging each other, while the coaches push us through each set. When the class comes to an end, we are glad that we survived, and at the same time, we look forward to the next day's session. F45 is more than a gym, it's a place where family is built. They are all inclusive, never judgmental, and always welcoming. read more

Before I started my first class, I was dreading to go because I've been out of the gym for months. I tried the gym out because my friend wanted me to try it out. After my first class, I felt good about it because it's really at your own pace. You're not competing against anyone, but yourself. I highly recommend it if you like group work outs, but feel like you're not at the pace that you want to be. read more

I miss going to the gym and being able to lift weights or take an in studio group fitness class. I was hesitant to go back because we are in the middle of a pandemic but I'm so glad I took advantage of this locations $2 for 2 week trial special. Each student has their own marked box with all the equipment you're gonna need for that class + a sanitation station nearby for wipe downs. I am now 3 classes in and still extremely sore from the first day. It's go go go from the start of class which is perfect for experienced gym goers but for the newbs, coaches are there to help guide you the entire way. I've tried almost all fitness workouts on island and this by far is what I need right now -- a quick 45 min of just high intensity interval functional training. read more

writing this to hopefully help others not fall for this companies scam the same way my wife and I almost did. When you sign up for the F45 trial, you agree to a terms and conditions that states NOTHING about a 28-day cancellation policy that they try to force on those with a regular membership. I'm saying this because my wife continued going after her trial for 1 week and was never asked to sign-up with a new terms and conditions to roll her into a regular membership. When she tried to cancel after that 1 week, they told her there is 28-day membership policy so she will be charged the $40 a week for the next 4 weeks. She told them that she was never told about or signed any policy or else she would've canceled during her trial. They continued to tell her there is a small link at the bottom of the emails to a terms and conditions after her trial ended which was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than the terms and conditions she agreed to when signing up for the trial. They basically told her too bad so sad. We then had to get a lawyer involved because we are tired of big corporations trying to take advantage of their customers with all these BS fee's for their corporate greed. Our lawyer agreed this was a scam, and that a new terms and condition being placed into an email IS NOT A LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT. Luckily for us, F45 then canceled her membership without the 28-policy because we would've pursued a lawsuit otherwise. Since then they STILL have 2 separate terms and conditions on their website and emails and will probably try to pull this BS on another customer. I hope this gets seen and F45 loses a large customer base. Extremely shady and illegal corporation. So shame. read more

I absolutely love this gym. Was a bit hesitant at first and the fact that they have an introductory free workouts has allowed me to try this to see if I like it. I loved this. There is absolutely no way I could ever push my body to work this hard on my own. The instructors are super helpful and very knowledgeable. I feel like I have a personal trainer with an added benefit of group workout. The facility is super clean and everyone makes sure to wipe down the equipment as soon as they finish using it. I absolutely love the circuit training concept that F45 is based on. All members are super friendly and I don't feel like I am being judged if I have to do an exercise at my own pace. Also, there is a shower that one can take after the workout which is awesome because that allows me to go straight to work after working out. I live this pace and I found my gym for life. read more

Been going to this place since they first opened and I've never looked back!! The coaches are super friendly and never afraid to correct me/my form or push me to grab the heavier weight. The members I've met since I've been going have become awesome friends, workout partners, and some of my best motivators (or competition lol). Most importantly, the workouts are no more than an hour, fun, AND effective -- I feel like passing out during the workout but then I feel so accomplished once it's done!! read more
