Now you have to reserve a court, have everyone who plays in the app, and guests cost $10 per person per visit. All we wanted to do was play tennis for a short while and were met with fees and papers to sign. Why should we have to pay for a guest when we pay the equivalent of a country club fee in HOA fees, and don't get excited when I say country club, because this place is not that taken care of. Don't get me wrong it's nice for a neighborhood athletic club But nothing more, especially when it costs to bring guests.

Wait, no, excuse me, it's the Cy-Fair Emergency & Imaging Center Triathlon at Fairfield. Whew. That's a mouthful. But hey, a tri is a LOT of work and should have a long, impressive sounding name. Or at least it looks like a lot of work, as I just run. We got there early and the bike transition was out in front and the swimming pool is back behind the facility. Luckily everything was well marked, plus we just followed the people with the swim caps. The sidewalk was flagged off, but it wasn't marked real well, as we had a few swimmers ask us which way to go. Plus quite a few people slipped and fell until the officials put down some rubber mats. There were a LOT of rules to go over at the beginning, and all was easy to hear and understand. The Boy Scouts posted the colors and we all did the Pledge of Allegiance, which was cool. Then of course the National Anthem and woo hoo we're ready to go! Unless your friend/loved one is a fast swimmer, prepare to wait, as they line up per their swim time, but it's still cool to watch everyone. The bike transition was easy to get to, and we waited to see our friends come in, and the running course went right by the finish line, then turned and came back, so there was ample opportunities to cheer your athlete on. I loved that! Plus there is plenty of parking for everyone across the street, so it's right there and easy to get back to the car for water, snacks, etc. Oh and there are indoor bathrooms, plus some porta potties. But indoor bathrooms? be still my heart! The facility looked really nice as well with the outdoor heated pool, tennis courts, plus a nice basketball court and room inside. And a very, very cool place to put on a triathlon! It's easy to get bitten by the tri bug here....

I called in and requested to put my account on hold for 3 month while we went on summer vacations, master pae said that is not possible so I simply said okay then stop payment all together. He said he would have his office call me, that was back in may. It's not July 22 and they reached out trying to get money for June and July...saying I still had a month left on this "contract". Her name is Carmi, she went on and on until I finally told her that I would rather deal with this in court. I never signed a contract stating I was obligated to any amount of time at this place. Carmi seemed to think I would some how just pay a bunch of money when we haven't been to, heard from or seen anything from this TKD place since back in may when we last went. Since talking to this Carmi it is apparent that this place is definitely all about the money and they are reaching for this one.

My little one is known to be wild and with limited focus, but his respect and close attention to Master Pae was almost immediate! We have taken several life lessons home with us and applied them to our daily routines... not only did our son learn but so did my husband and I! The children we watched in class have excellent focus and respect for their elders. This is not a free-for-all playground... this is a school for learning discipline, focus, and technique and for serious students only. Master Pae makes all expectations clear before joining, and not only is that great for teaching but also great business practice.
